Sooo disappointed in Miles Board! Had two boards both die shortly after six months, conveniently outside the warranty period. The replacement batteries have been 'sold out' for more than a year. The c... Ver más

This board is like no other
This board is like no other! Literally.
First off, THANK YOU Miles for designing such a beast of a board! The Miles Phantom hands down has to be the best electric short board out on the market.
The carbon fiber deck has such a unique drop down shape allowing it to be VERY nimble and light. The trucks are drop through style and come with fantastic bushings from factory. Once you add 105mm wheels, headlights and taillights in the mix, this board then becomes boss.
The Miles Phantom is capable of reaching 32mph speeds on flat lat and crushes hills! Range anxiety is definitely a thing of the past with the 21700 batteries packed in the board. You can expect a range between 18-30+ miles depending on the terrain, speed mode and riding style.
It's fair to say that Miles knows what their doing and I'm looking forward to seeing what they have in store next!
A Powerful and Very Comfortable Board With Great Support
I decided to purchase a Sex Panther Pro after test riding one at their shop in San Diego, CA. Anthony is the one who originally helped me, and he was great. Super knowledgeable about the products and gave me tips on how to ride the board.
When first receiving the board I noticed the grip tape was coming off on the corners. I contacted Miles Board by email and their reply was a tracking number with new grip tape on the way. Now, that's a great first reply!!! And the reply was in 12 hours! Also, Rob Rast from Miles Board is super responsive and very helpful. Great guy!
The board is very comfortable, and powerful. I suffer from a bad leg/ankle/foot. I was involved in a motorcycle incident back in 2015 that almost killed me. I suffer with pain almost daily. Out of the 4 other boards I own, this Miles Board contours my feet and keeps the pain away. Plus the thrill of this board makes me forget everything!
Thanks again to the Miles Team for developing an amazing board and offering great support on their product.
This board was so incredibly worth the wait!
The wait was agonizing, but so incredibly worth it. My husband and I crowd funded two sex panthers at the very beginning of the campaign, it was around 6 months before they were delivered right to our door. While we waited, we got antsy and bought some mid-level e-boards (teamgee) to tide us over, which were quickly given to the kiddos once our sex panthers arrived.
Now let's get to the board... holy crap guys, we both got belt drive and the take off is something else. When I use my board to ride to pickup my eldest son from school, I tow a Veer wagon with two kiddos in it, the sex panther handles the load with ease, we glide over any and all bumps perfectly. The AT wheels are an absolute dream, I had planned on getting the cloud wheels for my board but after riding my husband's board with his cloud wheels, the ride was a smidgen to hard for me. So I opted to just airbrush paint my AT wheels instead, to give myself some custom colors. When we received both boards, like other customers, the grip tape was peeling up quite a bit, which was PERFECT for me, since I already had a beautiful replacement to put on there. For my husband, he used a blow drier and just stuck it back down, no issues yet. So far I've only been able to get this baby up to 27MPH before I scare myself, I do 100% recommend safety gear for this ride, I use a full face helmet and a padded jacket. The range on the battery is quite impressive as well, I can use my board all week on one chare.
Everyone loves these boards. Whenever I go out, everyone wants to talk about and ask questions about the board. I think we've actually sold a few people on buying Miles boards now. People just need to test ride them and they are hooked. My husband and I compare the ride to a snowboard, without the cold, the wet, and the wait on chairlift. We are both looking into finding sky hooks for our boards.
All in all, Id recommend this board to anyone looking for a reliable e-board.
Oh also, thanks for adding the push start button, what an amazing feature!
STOP! Read carefully
I own a couple esk8 short boards and long boards. The sex panther is THE most comfortable board I've ever been on. The Board hugs your feet. My other boards, my toes or heels would always stick out and not be completely on the board. With the sex panther my entire feet is on the board and it feels great! The width of the board is fantastic! I own the belt drive and this thing takes off. I lean forward to brace for the speed when I take off and I get close to falling off the board vs my other boards where I don't have to lean as much. so I lean in a bit more and it's fine. The panther has ALOT of power. Plows thru grass, wet grass, sand, rocks, and even mud. Be advised I had AT wheels on. It goes to 30mph faster than you can say "Ohhhhh s***" Stock wheels are great for normal flat roads. Highly suggest this board. It is smooth, quick, and it'll pounce on you if you're not paying attention haha. Interesting fact, while going up sidewalks, the board swings. For example, the head of the board goes up first onto the sidewalk and instead of the whole board staying locked and going up, the tail of the board swings into the board like an 18 wheeler when they make big turns. I don't mind it at all. Threw me off guard for a bit. This board is a must and I highly recommend it!
Speed…??? Yeah ok…!!!
Speed, Range
Design, Charging and Overall……!!! in that order!!!
Speed- at 215LBS I’ve seen 27mph on flats. My son who’s the average size of a 17yr old can get it up to 30mph on flats. (Yes, he’s only 12yrs old but I’m 6’4”s so he’s wearing size 14 sneakers and hurting my pockets severely buying sneakers for him. My car note is literally less than I spent on his feet and I drive a 2022 Subaru Outback Touring Edition) anyway.. up hill in first gear she climbs to her top speed of 15MPH. That’s impressive. Video coming soon… type Utube…/channel/UCclURpgHtJwjZRtYOyVJeBA.
Range has been a hard thing to test because the board quits after you do, not before…!!! For example I went for a 17 mile ride through mud, gravel, stones and dirt (AKA horses poop).
((it was a horse trail. Don’t judge me)) anyway, the range that day was a super Extrem test and the Sex Panther passed with flying colors. (If you’ve never been though a road full of horse, poop just don’t. It’s not worth it trust me.)
Design of this board is personal to the creator and I love it. This is where form meets function. The carbon fiber deck reduces flex to “0%” which helps to keep forward momentum in that direction instead of being absorbed from flex. If you don’t understand just try riding in a multi level parking garage. Poured concrete is fast and hard. LOW FRICTION EQUALS SPEED. STARTING PRAYING YOU CAN HANDLE THE TURNS…!!! Speed bumps come up fast…!!! During winter months when finding a place to ride is crucial to your sanity. Up hill or down in a garage while the Sex Panther bares it’s claws is heaven. Really. You won’t be disappointed.
Charging is charging and when your charging your board it gets charged…??? What more can I say about charging…??? I hate charging. Just like you, probably. The charger works and 5-7 hours is long but so is 40 miles of range…!!! You better sit down and charge when you can. If your not running from the cops and can plan your life more than 30-40 miles at a time then you’ll NEVER have an issue with charging. 😂🤣😂
Overall… I LOVE THIS BOARD…!!! And that all I have to say about that…!!!
MilesBoard and October (Halloween) in Salem, MA.
Hello Everyone,
I can’t say enough about my experience with miles-board! Whether I am cruising around the streets or at the skate park of Salem, MA. It is an eye turner and handles amazingly! I THINK I HAVE ACTUALLY ALLOWED others More of an opportunity to use the miles board when out and about and their feedback is the same as mine: it is awesome, it handles incredibly and then I refer them over to the site to get their own! Now that the haunted happenings parade is back on in Salem Massachusetts, I am trying to incorporate this year’s Halloween costume with my miles-board for maximum haunting effect while cruising down the streets of Salem as in celebrating the horror-day! Any suggestions or ideas on a great costume or using my miles-board?
I will use the best idea and post it here for everyone! Thank you! Keep on skating everyone! MILESBOARD FOREVER! Two great things that go together October in Salem, MA and MILESBOARD!
Best eBoard on the Market!
I want to say firstly, that I have never ridden any eBoard as smooth and fast as the Miles Phantom. As a former Infantry Marine, I needed something to let loose and enjoy the scenery that I have in my disposal. Originally ridding the eboard that was once the staple of the industry fell through. I needed something a little more sleek and fast. Something that had more push and more kick. Something that had the range of 30miles and could further exceed 30mph "depending on the size of wheel and your personal height and weight index". Regardless you will never be disappointed with Miles and the new Staple of EBoard's, The Phantom! As for the team, great job engineering and designing such a beautiful piece of machinery. As for Rob Rast, thanks for delivering and keeping promises. 10/10 if possible.
The Miles Phantom is an AMAZING Board
The Miles Phantom is an AMAZING Board! I love cruising around San Diego with it and it goes 3 levels of fast up to 30mph but can also cruise. I use the Miles Jet Pack as my everyday backpack as well. Battery life is the best and doesnt need to be charged all the time! It gets up to 30 miles to a charge. I love it!
All it took was one test ride, and I was hooked!
I stumbled upon Miles board early last year. I’ve always been into skate boarding, but nothing like what Miles had to offer, it was a game changer. I went from not only skating recreationally, but to using skateboards as a means of transportation. One of the most beautiful parts about owning a Miles board is seeing the curiosity and entertainment on people’s faces when I ride. I’m definitely a fan!
Miles Dual
Wow I don’t even know where to start. I bought the dual and let me tell you this board packs a serious punch. The battery range is absolutely insane. My buddy has a boosted board and this thing can outrun him for “miles” (see what I did there). It can also go just as fast if not faster than the boosted as well. If you want a board that is ultra portable and also want serious power and range this is the board for you!!!!!!!
These boards kick ass!
I’ve had a miles dual for about 3 years now, this thing is a blast! At first I was a bit concerned that the board would be slow or not perform as intended because I’m 5’11” ~210lbs, but this thing screams! I have no problem hitting 22mph as I shred down the boardwalk. At one point I took a spill where I landed on top of the remote pretty hard, so I contacted the dudes at miles and they were super fast and friendly to get me back in the game. Board performance 10/10; board aesthetics 11/10; customer service 10/10. I recommend the boards to everyone!
OTHER ALTERNATIVES
OTHER ALTERNATIVES.
Meepo, Exway, Loaded. And the list goes on.
Why am I suggesting this? Their customer service is terrible. Think the guy or girl who left you on read but like you’re a customer. But they don’t realize that. Lol
With ANY vehicle, you want good service and a reliable source for fixes and issues and questions.
Yes, they just came out with the phantom. But will it take long for other brands to produce something like that or even better? I don’t think so.
If you’re reading this: DO NOT BUY!
If you’re reading this: DO NOT BUY!
I bought the “Dual Engine” Miles board after I saw a few ads on Instagram. They had a decent following and paid some fairly famous “Instagramers” to pose with their boards, so I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, I only road the board a couple times before the board stopped working. I thought maybe the battery died, so I changed it over night but it still didn’t work. I realized it doesn’t have to do with the charger or the cable to the charger. These chargers are very commonly used and I have a few identical ones around the house and I tried using those to charge the board but the board still did not charge. I also checked the outlets and they work perfectly well. Perhaps, the battery itself is bad. It’s definitely an electrical problem.
There is nothing visually wrong with the board. Like I mentioned, I only road the board a couple times and it just randomly stopped working.
I made many attempts to get ahold of someone... anyone from Miles Board to tell them what was going on. Their customer service is so awful! After a dozen emails, they finally responded saying that I should try to look to see if any wires were out of place and gave some bad directions on how to do so, so I took off the deck lid like they said, only to find a bunch of glue and cheap looking wires. However, I did not see any wires that looked out of place, as that was what they said to check for. I messaged them back asking if someone could take a look at the board and see if it’s fixable and if not, we can discuss a refund.
It’s also important to mention that I spent over $800 for this board - the “dual engine” board. It definitely was not cheap but it was made very cheap. I would NEVER buy this board again nor recommend it to any friends or family.
I’m so disappointed and feel completely ripped off! I am waiting to hear back from someone from Miles board to see what they can do. I’ll I’m asking is to please have someone send me a new board or give me a refund.
