Ordered click and collect

Ordered click and collect. I do this a lot with other retailers Argos Screwfix Tool station etc. It normally takes a few minutes before a confirmation that the order is ready. I was going to be passing the Frome shop so ii choose that one. I arrived there about 40 mins later it was approx three pm very quiet . Customer service was closed. Not just unmanned temporarily but closed. Just behind it a man sat at a desk was talking to a woman and judging by the bits I could occasionally hear it wasn't about work. Eventually I managed to catch his eye and asked where I collected and order. Any till was the answer gruffly then he continued his conversation. I queued at a till and asked to collect the item he asked for a number which I gave him from the order confirmation email I had received but apparently it wasn't on the system. When I asked what what happened now he replied he didn't know but that man there might know. That man was about 2 metres away seemingly listening to us. I approached his desk and he ignored me then a phone rang and he answered it. I stood there for a few minutes waiting and waiting. There was a desk immediately behind me and gradually six people gathered around it. The two from near customer service a couple of jokers who were pretending to use retractable tape measures as walkie talkies
, you know really important stuff and two other who seemed to be discussing wrapping something in the yard. After standing there surrounded by staff I said quite loudly ` is anyone actually going to help me` that stunned them into total apathy and they carried on talking. Eventually the man on the phone completed his call. He then stood up ignored me and went to customer services. He did return sat down and then seemed surprised to see me stood there. He reluctantly looked at his computer. Blamed head office saying that they probably wouldn't be advised until tomorrow and that I would get another email confirming the confirmation and then I could come back and get it. When I pointed out that is not really how customer service works he stood up walked away from his desk disappeared and then returned with the item I had ordered. He gave to me then mumbled something about sorting things out tomorrow. The process took 15 minutes. Had I walked in got the item from the self and paid at a till it would have taken 2 minutes. You may ask why I did click and collect. The answer is that when I checked the stock on line they only had one item in fact I checked on my way out and they had several, very poor performance. The next day I received an email saying my order was ready for collection approx 18 hours after I placed it. I got the same email for 6 days then got a final email advising me I hadn't collected the order so I was being refunded which I duly was. Do I feel guilty. No I don't it was £7.99 . Will I use Mole Valley again ( in the past 20 years since living here I have spent hundreds of pounds with them) almost certainly not. Computers can be rightly blamed for many things but not for appalling customer service.

I have signed up twice but no £5 off…

I have signed up twice but no £5 off voucher has arrived - and I’ve looked in ‘junk’.
The first time I ordered something online - I discovered ( through phoning up) that it can’t be used for a reconditioned item. Fair enough.
But it would be good if the voucher code would arrive.

Website sells items that they do not stock.

Ordered Panacur medicine for my daughter's sick rabbit, needed it urgently, so ordered it for collection the next day from my local store. Easy to order, and money quickly taken by PayPal. received an email the next morning saying they couldn't fulfil my order. Website still showed it in stock, albeit decremented by the amount I ordered. Decided to drive to my local store to find that the website is rubbish as they do not actually sell Panacur for rabbits. The website still shows it in stock at my local store!

The product was as expected and…

The product was as expected and wanted/fine, the packaging was great. The delivery driver dropping it out the back of the van, not being rude or unpleasant I will add. That is the reason I won’t be back sadly. I need my deliveries to my door/ into my house. DHL doesn’t do this and if you change companies I will be back but definitely not with no option to choose a decent courier DPD for example

If I could give them ZERO I would

If I could give them ZERO I would. I purchased wet dog food, my dog hates it. No labels on tins. I am so disappointed as there were good reviews on Trustpilot. They won’t let me return them as I haven’t got the original packaging??? I even suggested getting a discount to save on delivery charges, they didn’t want to know. I will be contacting Trading Standards about this.

Great all round

Great - reasonable price and choice of products, I had been let down by my previous supplier and Mole had the product I was looking for. Great delivery prices and quick delivery times.
