Previous loss adjusters had tried to get me to settle for a quick cash settlement to receive their cut fast, not caring about following results.
Not so with Pino at Morgan & Clarke. From the start it was clear that they were genuinely looking out for my best interest and making dealing with the insurance company as smooth and easy as possible. I was kept informed at every stage of the claims process and I know without their expertise I would have struggled and possibly even lost my case .

I don't think it's possible for a layman to resolve a major insurance claim without the help of a loss assessor.

In our case our insurer's loss adjuster tried to railroad us into still living in our property whilst they rebuilt it around us - we turned to Martin Chapman @ Morgan Clark and from then on we had someone who knew how the claims system works on our side making sure our interests were represented fairly.

Once we engaged Morgan Clarke they handled all the correspondence, meetings, surveys etc that were required to arrive at a schedule of works to repair our property, resolving all the issues that surfaced on the way (ie:asbestos in the render!?).

Our claim was large so Morgan Clarke's fee wasn't insignificant but my wife and I felt this was good value to actually resolve the matter so successfully.

I heartily recommend Martin, Faye and the rest of the Morgan Clarke team.

I had a fire at a property i own some distance from my home.
At the time i was caring for my elderly unwell mother.
The company i needed to assist was definitely Morgan Clarke.
Initially Robert Godlonton introduced himself with details from the fire brigade i could access to know more about the extent of damage, he also kindly took some pictures and sent to me after i checked out companies house and MorganClarks head office to reassure such a kind man was not bogus, I looked at their website to read all about the services Morgan Clark offer.
I am so glad I went ahead and instructed them to represent my best interests as loss assessors, to work in conjunction with my insurance company’s loss adjustor.
Every concern or question I had, and ensuring the smooth flow of the process, from securing my claim to settlement were dealt with promptly and with understanding.
Martin Chapman and Faye Milligan went above and beyond my best expectations, I was kept very well informed at every stage and my property secured, a very helpful and well regarded Chartered Surveyor assessed the damage from top to bottom.
Everything went like clockwork, they really are worth their fees, and I am very pleased with my settlement.
I would turn straight to Morgan Clark if the need arose again, and highly recommend their services, if you ever find yourself in the position of needing to claim on your insurance.

They took the administrative burden off us as much as possible during a very stressful period after flooding of our house. They maximised our claims and helped us navigate the insurance system when we wanted to get additional work done on our house in addition to the insurance covered work.

I would say they are an absolute must have in any major insurance situation - Paul from Morgan Clark who dealt with our case gave us a sense of reassurance throughout and kept on to the insurers to make sure work got done and did all the coordination work. Highly recommend!

2 years ago I had a house fire just before Christmas of which I got out in just my night wear. I lost everything I owned. And didn't know were to start. Last November we had a house fire, in the loft, while we were home. It was devastating. The next morning, we went to view the house, the damage, clear up the debris from the street and were approached by a representative of Morgan and Clarke and honestly, we had never heard of a loss assessor and thought it was dodgy and a scam. But the guy was lovely and left us to it. We were then approached by more loss assessor companies so did some research and decided to go with Morgan and Clarke because they are FCA approved and felt like a sensible option.

I would say me and my husband are capable people, we do a lot of renovation but the aftermath of the house fire felt too big. Admin-wise and build-wise. It was really helpful to have a team on your side who knows exactly what to expect from the insurers and how to navigate the world of loss adjusters.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Martin, Sarah and their entire team for helping us through this last year. We bought our house and used a mortgage broker - part of our mortgage condition was house insurance which the broker set up for us. Turned out we were under insurered - absolute nightmare.

After our home was flooded over a year ago, our insurer and their loss adjuster seemed motivated by their own best interests, not ours. When Morgan Clark's Taunton team agreed to manage our claim a lot of the stress of the situation fell away. Not only did they have in depth expert knowledge of the processes by which large claims progress, but they were able to very patiently explain everything to us. Their responses to our emailed queries were always reassuringly prompt.
Morgan Clark appointed a surveyor to manage the strip-out and reinstatement works, and were instrumental in getting a contents removal, storage and drying company appointed when firms put forward by the loss adjuster either failed to show up or did not respond until weeks later. One of the team explained that attempting to manage our own claim without a loss assessor would be like going to court without representation by a barrister. We wholeheartedly agree!

A very professional company who transformed our nightmare situation when a relative's house was seriously damaged by fire into a pleasure.
