Very poor aftersales experience with Motorview Kia Midleton.
I purchased my Kia PHEV from this dealership new in 2022 and have since had to return multiple times due to recurring faults, including issues with the fuel flap not opening, tailgate release problems, and a faulty onboard battery charger.
The vehicle was brought in on several occasions before the fuel flap mechanism was eventually replaced, however the issue has now returned again.
In January, the front passenger door latch and oxygen sensor were replaced. Unfortunately, during this repair, damage was caused to the door. This includes scraped paint on the door, damaged trim, and a missing cap/cover on the door assembly. Since this work was carried out, the window has also developed a clicking noise when operating.
In February, the car was booked in again to replace the onboard charger and investigate further issues. Due to the number of previous visits, I requested a courtesy car. On the morning of the appointment I was informed that no loan car was available, and the booking could not proceed. I asked for the appointment to be rescheduled when a loan car would be available, but I never received a follow-up.
I contacted the dealership again in March and was told I would receive a call back from the service manager. This also did not happen.
At this stage, I still have multiple unresolved issues with the vehicle, along with damage caused during a previous repair, and no meaningful follow-up from the dealership.
I have now escalated the matter to Kia Ireland and have lost confidence in Motorview Kia Midleton’s ability to resolve the issues.
Very disappointing experience overall, particularly given this is a main Kia dealership.
