Don't buy from this company, it's a scam.

Took my money instantly from my credit card, sent me an email notification that the product has been shipped with a tracking number for parcel force. When I eventually contacted parcel force to find out why the status hasn't changed from "advised", they told me they haven't received the product for delivery and I need to speak to the merchant (or rather, scammer).

I have tried to call Avon Garden Machinery / Mower Supermarket twice a day since and left a message once a day. The phone hasn't been answered and they haven't called me back.

I sent an email daily asking for an update as to when to expect delivery and haven't received a reply.

Because they refuse to speak to you, you will be left having to go through a chargeback process with your bank/credit card to get your money back.

Companies like this are the modern day highwaymen. How they are allowed to continue operating is remarkable. People are in prison for less...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I ordered an Ego tool for £678, as it said it was in stock, on their website 'Mower Supermarket'. After not receiving anything about delivery dates I rang to check - it took a while but managed to get through to someone. Told it was out of stock and I would get a refund, assured they would do it that day, but may take up to 3 days. 2 weeks later no refund. They won't answer the phone. I've left messages and emails - no reply. I've just started a new business and this is a lot of money to me. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!

STAY AWAY - I would call this company a fraudulent company in my opinion based on my experience with them.

Put an order in and it went to processing within 2 days, although it's sat there for around 2 weeks now (even though it was suppose to be delivered within a couple of days).
There's been no communication on what's going on with it, I've emailed 4-5 times and called 7-8 times (rings out). No ones got back to me.
I can see this has happened to quite a few people, I've now called my bank and have started the process of doing a chargeback in order to get my money back and would advise anyone who's having the same issue to do that. Your bank will essentially contact their bank and will remove the money you gave them.

An update:
I finally got an email back, saying they have refunded me. No apology or explanation was given. They didn't even give me any info on when I'd receive the refund. I replied to try and get info but no more communication after this. So clearly they're deliberately ignoring emails.
However that was on the 11th Oct, I still hadn't been refunded anything even though their website said so.
I had still not received it by the 9th Nov. I had to ring my bank, and initiate a chargeback in order to get my money back. At this stage it was obvious they weren't going to refund me.

Just like others, placed my order, chased many many times be email and phone with no response or pick up. Have demanded a refund, but not hopeful!

A similar experience to several posted before. Order placed online (they take your money immediately), status of order changed to “refunded” three days later with no communication of why. Haven’t answered the phone, haven’t replied to emails, two weeks after the change of status of the order have yet to recieve my money back.

I've never written a Trustpilot review before, but this company is so bad I really need to warn others.
I ordered a scarifier that was described as 'In stock' and then heard nothing. I left a voicemail message asking for information and received no reply. On the many times I called the phone was picked up and put straight back down again, cutting me off, or it just rang and rang (phone off the hook?). Eventually I got through and was told that the goods weren't in stock (stock records were wrong) but delivery would definitely be within a week and direct from the supplier. One week later an email informed me of a further delay. Phoning again got the same response (i.e. disconnected or constantly engaged). So I cancelled.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are truly appalling. My experience has been similar to all of the negative reviews on this site.

My £600 payment was taken immediately and acknowledged, but I received no delivery information. After waiting for five days I emailed them and received a friendly reply from "Dale" the following day, saying that the only mower in stock was damaged, that a replacement would take at least three weeks and offering an alternative mower. I replied, asking several questions about the alternative. I received no response whatsoever. My numerous subsequent emails were simply ignored, multiple telephone calls were connected to an answerphone indicating that calls could not be answered and no message could be left. I emailed yet again, demanding an immediate refund, but as usual with no result. I have written to them now quoting The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, demanding a full refund. I have still received no response, so will be contacting Trading Standards again.

Please take note of the other negative reviews and do NOT be fooled by the positive ones into using this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DREADFUL. Do not be-leave the so called good reviews, they properly put them on themselves. They will not answer the phone or reply to any email. They have taken £159.00 straight away from me and I cannot get any response. Very shady company that give answerphone message that says you cannot leave a message or identify who they are. THEY ARE BAD NEWS AND NOT A COMPANY THAT IS STRAIGHTFORWARD TO DEAL WITH.

Bought a Mountfield mower from Avon Garden Machinery as it said it was in stock, then e mails came from Mower Supermarket telling me delivery was delayed. Empty promises and 3 weeks later was told it would be delivered on 7th July ....nothing !! Was then told it would be the week after so I demanded a refund ....was told it was in the pallet ready to be delivered and I would receive part refund. Not a chance did I trust them so demanded a refund again on 8th July and guess what ?? I've had to chase that too and finally got it on 20th July.
If you want a mower that is in stock, then dont choose these people who seem to be 2 companies and don't care about customers

I purchased a new mountfield mower from this company a in April. It was delivered within days, but was faulty from day one. I have tried to call customer service on several occasions and emailed their help line but with no success whatsoever. They appear not to care. I won't be buying anything further from this company. I have had to source a repair local to home at my own expense

Good company for your garden machines, first time I have used them and delivery was quick. My only problem was communication they take a while to answer your queries. Overall I am satisfied enough to use them again.

Amazing service. The products are excellent, the after sales is second to none.
Extremely professional, friendly staff.
Dale was able to answer all our questions ( and there were several) fully and without hesitation.
We were so impressed, we have gone to them for advice about other garden equipment and now buy from them as our preference.

AVOID if you can,
Another middleman (with an empty store, transfering items from Avon Garden Machinery) with lack of respect to the customers, very very bad communication ignoring emails and phone calls, item dispatched after 7days without any notifications and apologies. Be careful with your money. There is plenty on the market to choose from. AVOID if you can.

Absolutely fantastic service - Highly recommended.
Dale was professional, knowledgeable, offered advice, gave me a great price and the items arrived when he said they would.

Promptly charged my card then forgot about me. Ignored requests for a receipt for payment, even told me it being dealt with, as we spoke, by a colleague and I'd get it shortly. This was untrue. As soon as they had payment, my requirements went out the window. Eventually got an invoice, just minutes before their closing time, at the close of business the day before delivery. As if that weren't enough, the invoice was made out in the wrong name but they weren't in any hurry to fix it until I threatened not to take delivery of the mower unless it came with a valid invoice. All in all a stressful experience best avoided even if you have to pay a little more somewhere else.

Let me do the legwork for you as I have just purchased a petrol mower from Mower Supermarket. It took me weeks looking at reviews and opinions about all the different mowers, pricing etc. Should just have gone straight there and when I did and was still unsure, Dale from the Company listened to my requirements then gave me the benefit of his experience and together we agreed on an AL-KO, well it arrived a few hours later FOC
it is a great buy, love the quality and the price was the cheapest around too!! Thanks Dale and the company good old fashioned service. Phil M.

I placed my order on line in the morning and it was delivered by 12 o'clock the next day, even though it didn't say thats when it was coming. My delivery instructions where followed to a T. Very impressed with the great service. I even had a follow up email from them. Great service and would recommend them.
