Delivery Service

Delivery service good. Occasionally have had missed delivery but on telephoning they have sent a replacement. Only complaint if magazine is missing from paper there is no redelivery and the higher price of weekend newspaper is because of magazine. However, I understand they can’t deliver what they don’t have.

Regular deliveries early each morning, weekdays and weekends with regular direct debit collection.

Joshua Brown phoned me earlier today. He was very informative, helpful and polite. As a result I have decided to take advantage of the offer of 3 free boxes of goods to try them out and see if I want to continue on a paying basis.

Great for me, as now I don’t have to drive out to pick up the papers. Very pleasant drivers, and excellent fast service from the office.
Only small problem is that we have no letterbox in the front glass door, and our mailbox is too small for papers and magazines. Delivery times vary considerably - 9.40 yesterday and before 6.30 this morning. I usually unlock the porch door around 7.00, so have to hang up a bag outside for the papers.8

Deliveries have only failed once but that was on day two of your contract - otherwise very reliable. You also deliver the Spectator but not until Saturday which is a shame when it is published on a Thursday

I use this company to deliver papers for my elderly parents. On the whole their service is very reliable there has been a couple of times the local paper has not got delivered but it is easy to report this. I spoke to Joshua Brown and he was very helpful at sorting the issue out.

After a few hiccups to begin with the daily service we receive is superb. Newspaper delivered before 8am everyday including weekends. Drivers take care when delivering the paper & respect our property and gardens.

I have received great service from newsgroup for the delivery of papers.

Absolutely terrible company. They will scam you out of your money anyway they can. They don't treat you right they make you find your own cover if you want time off. They also don't cover fuel. The app they use is terrible with Google maps. Can't find half the addresses. They expect you to do a impossible amount of drops in a short time frame. If you don't then you don't get paid for the extra time. Can't get in touch with anyone. I was told a supervisor would meet me at the collection point to show me the app and answer any questions but no one turned up and no answer when I called. Just terrible.

Very good and reliable. My telegraph is delivered at 4am!!
I found Richard Lopez a very able assistant.

Yesterday my newspaper didn't arrive and I spoke to RITA who assured me that it was marked as a redelivery. It never arrived. Today's paper arrived fine. Today I spoke to JOSHUA BROWN who apologised for my non delivery yesterday. These guys hands are tied. They can only put in for a redelivery but have no guarantee as cannot contact the relevant driver. Surely a better system whereby if the driver cannot deliver, the Sales Team are notified so that they pass that information onto the customer? Joshua was polite, friendly and helpful as was Rita yesterday but they have no real control in assuring that a missed delivery is redelivered and then bear the brunt from the angry customer and that is not fair.

I can only reiterate the comments I made in my previous review in January. This company's service is a disgrace. So far I have had no delivery on two of the last seven days, and a regular monthly order for BBC History magazine hasn't been forthcoming since November 2025. Despite a phone call from them after I wrote my previous review, assuring me that the matter had been put right and wouldn't recur, if anything the service is worse than it was before. I could not possibly recommend this company to anyone.

No problem with paper and magazine delivery which is very good. Only minor complaint is the speed the delivery person drives up the drive to my house - fast and the fact that he knocked over a bin and broke part of the lid fixing.
