I believe Nottinghill Finance is Loan shark unlicenced criminal one man band lender

I believe Nottinghill Finance is operating as an illegal and unlicensed loan provider. They do not hold any licence to offer credit, they are not registered with the FCA to lend money, and they do not have Companies House approval to operate as a loan company.

They pressured me to sign the loan as a business loan, even though the purpose was personal and urgent. Labeling the loan as “business purpose” removes FCA protection, and in my case the company’s registered SIC code is:

70229 – Management consultancy activities other than financial management

This means the loan becomes unregulated, despite the fact that the true purpose was predominantly personal.

They transferred £23,600 into my bank account but are demanding £77,000 to be repaid within nine months for what was supposed to be a three‑month loan. It appears to be a one‑man operation, and I believe the loan agreement may have been altered — it looks as though my signature page was taken from another document and attached to a different agreement.

I originally signed for 2% interest, but they changed the paperwork to 5% compound interest. The lender relied on a false business declaration and on the broker’s wording to treat the loan as unregulated.

In my view, this behaviour is deceptive and predatory. They will lie to the court, and with expensive lawyers they can attempt to take your property over a £24,000 loan.

If you want to risk losing your home, take a loan from this unregulated criminal one man band lender — otherwise, stay away.

Loan Shark and bully

Loan Shark and bully, avoid them. The owner Jodi Martin also owns Saxby Finance Ltd. He sued me for over £1.5 million for a loan of £60,000 after he was paid £83,000.

He contacted my neighbours to bully me, he shared my private details with them. He lost the case then immediately registered a charge over my home. He appeal and lost again but is still refusing to remove charges. Jodi Martin appears to targets the vulnerable, single women, women of colour and ethnic minorities. He is a very dangerous man, in my view, please avoid any business that Jodi Martin is involved in. Everything I say here is the truth it is on public records look for the High Court case of Saxby Finance Ltd v Baker, the facts are all there.

5 star review

After spending over two thousand pounds with a broker just to get a bridging loan across the line it took them 6 weeks to come back to me saying the lender did not want to proceed. I was forced to look else where and that’s when I found NHF who were willing to fund me without any upfront cost and without having to wait weeks. I received the funds within two days of submitting the application form and manage to complete my project before the deadline

ethical sourced food

we are great believers in a healthy diet sourced by ethical methods of farming. NHF invested in our concept that allowed us to purchase the food truck and turn this concept in a successful business

Not only did they invest in our business, the support and mentoring from the NHF team has been instrumental in the business success. The team never let us down and were there for us whenever help was needed

Do Not Trust This Company

I took out a short (60 day loan) with this company that was due to be paid on 1st December 2018. It was to cover a pg bankruptcy I had been facing for a total amount of c£24,000. But with their fees etc they totalled up the loan to £43k. Despite it being high I took it due to the desperate situation I was in. I was aiming to put in 12 month bridging loan to cover this amount and any other financial issues I had following my divorce, secured against my home, to allow me to start again with my 5 year old daughter as a single mum. Unfortunately that didn't happen due to a bad broker and by the time I found a FCA registered helpful broker it was January 2019. Nottinghill started to charge me 12% compounded interest so very quickly it was £56k, £64k etc whilst I was securing the bridging loan.they then took me to court last week to gain possession of my house less than 12 weeks after I defaulted despite me keeping in regular communication with their lawyers about where the loan was. The court indicated they would not allow for possession as this was an unfair agreement and suggested I looked at taking this to trial (which I'm just about to do) but order me to pay the £68k fees that remained, but not the legal costs as this agreement seemed illegal and was leaning more towards a consumer agreement which I can find remedy under the consumer credit act, as the court can see its not the Commercial loan Nottinghill are indicating it is.

Today I raised the money to pay them, and was at my solicitors office to sign when they then slapped a further £9,000 "legal fees" which meant I was not able to take out the finance to pay off my mortgage arrears and them. They refused to let me pay the £68,000 because they wanted to repossess my house. The agreement set up was to make me fail. How can any company justify charging £77k for a loan taken out and to be paid at £43k only 12 weeks ago?? They are the most unscrupulous company I have ever come across and prey on the vulnerable. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!
