Customer Services is appalling!

I contacted Technical Support, who kept passing my emails to the Sales department - even though it was a technical issue. Eventually, the Sales department suggested I contact Technical Support!

They didn't even get the right name on the email reply!

Nuance has terrible software

Nuance has terrible software. Just paid $150 for Dragon Anywhere software. The microphone button on iPhone will not start dictation. Nuance ought to leave the business. Sorry software and tech support is useless. Just go around in circles of "nothing working."

I have just purchased the downloadable version of Dragon Home but the link to allow the download is not working. I have tried to contact customer services which is a dead end. Every link I follow does not work. What do I do now????

Over the years I had bought Nuance PDF…

Over the years I had bought Nuance PDF Reader, Nuance PDF Converter Pro, OmniPage Pro, paperPort and Dragon Naturally Speaking. Changed computers so deleted them from my laptop then have tried to re-install them on my new desk-top but have been flagged that I have exceeded my limits. The older one will no longer download. I liked my PDF reader but hardly used Omnipage Pro and PaperPort. Gave up on Dragon Naturally as there are better ones on the internet for free. Will stay away from this company in the future. Other companies have let me download with no problems as long as it was deleted then re-installed and I had the serial number. Some companies even had the codes online in
my account and have never refused me a download no matter.

Purchased Dragon Naturally Speaking Dud.
I purchased a version13 from Amazon received it in two days Great!
Went through the installation with on problem. Tried to use it and no mater what I said. It would write "I will". So thinking that and older version that i have maybe causing a problem "I erased all Dragon programs.I reloaded program, but now will not recognize serial number. Tried to contact Nuance to resolve the problem. more interested in selling me an upgrade. call back Monday.

Useless customer service.

Useless customer service.
Tried to install Dragon Naturally Speaking into new computer without a disk drive as old computer which did have one died.
They said they could not help as the no longer support the 13 version and would have to update to a newer version.
I only bought it 10 months ago though they kept saying it was 2 years old which is when it was actually made and not sold. They then said my details were compromised and my registration number was registered to someone else. I brought it new from a reliable large retail chain shop but they said I should have brought it directly from them; and as it was a "resold product" it was "therefore compromised." I would need to buy the updated version as the only option.
They are unscrupulous, rapacious and fundamentally dishonest if these are their policies. Their so called support is a con job.
I am disgusted by them.

Rude, aggressive customer service, AVOID

The worst customer service I've ever received. Call center operatives talked over me aggressively, refused to give me their full names, fobbed me off, argued with me....absolutely disgusting. Our business were considering making an expensive bulk order, but decided against it based on the appalling customer service.

The once OK company is a vicious…

The once OK company is a vicious software maker forcing you to buy an upgrade and limits you from moving software from one machine to a newer one. So disgusting! If I use software that works on my laptop and my laptop dies, I should be able to use that pdf converter from Nuance on a new machine. Well, not according to Nuance as they give you a two year period and then you are out of luck, you have to buy a new product. ADIOS AMIGO!!!

This"program" is just an over…

This"program" is just an over engineered Dictaphone. It is only meant to dictate to word document. It is fails miserably at navigation. It fails miserably at learning your speech. It decides what it wants to type. It cannot access anything not up front. If you have a hidden window, it cannot access it. If the link is not visible, on the page, it does not access. Have to manually scroll the window to bring link into view. So what is the point of the software if you have to manually do things to baby-sit the program?

This program is garbage I purchased…

This program is garbage I purchased Dragon Professional to use with Sonnocent, and to save me time in typing notes fro law school. I fight with this program constantly it crashes Microsoft word, it rarely dictates properly, the more you allow it to learn the less it dictates properly, it wants all of your e-mails and documents, and I am positive at this point it is just so they can steal your data because it surely doesn't make it dictate better. I have been on the verge of breaking my computer several times because of how angry this program makes me, and I am a really calm person. Giant waste of $300. I am really glad I tried the professional version, and did not cough up $550 for the legal version, especially because there is no tech support and they rarely have updates. This company is as unethical as those Microsoft tech service scams where someone in Africa hacks your computer and holds it ransom, I really hope this scam company NUANCE goes out of business, and that programs like Sonnocent will find a different dictation program to accommodate, when I use dragon to dictate from Sonnocent all it says repeatedly is UMM hi, umm, yeah, which is probably the extent of the programmer that wrote this piece of craps brain capacity.

I purchased Dragon Speak Naturally for Mac

I purchased Dragon Speak Naturally for Mac, they discontinued the product, and it no longer works with the current version of Mac IOS. Their only solution was to go back and downgrade IOS. I requested a copy of the Microsoft version of Dragon Speak Naturally, as the product they sold me no longer works. They said no.

They certainly would allow me to buy it at full price, I believe that's unacceptable.

I believe the company owes a responsibility to the customers, and show none.

Not top notch performance

The software DRAGON which I used for more than 3-4 months could not give me the expected notch performance. As first of all it requires the training process even after that it is committing mistakes randomly. Even the software is little costly as per the delivery of the performance.
I would rather suggest users of speech recognition program to go for BRAINA which is also speech recognition program which also provides so many additional features such as searching files and programs through voice commands, searching information, controlling PC wirelessly and so many other functions. It is also not that much costly it can be afforded easily.

Works poorly with Microsoft Surface

I have used Dragon for several years with many frustrations. Those frustrations have increased since I obtained a Microsoft Surface. Dragon has many incompatibility issues with this computer - very frustrating. My cellular phone takes dictation much better and has much better recognition features than does Dragon. I am surprised Dragon is still on the market, given its poor functionality.

Dragon Is Simply JUNK.

Several thousands of dollars buying several versions and NOTHING has ever worked-not once--gets it right about 20 percent of the time.

I am a terrible typist but to dictate a simple sentence, with its locking up, incessant asking me to "say again" and simple inability to accurately translate a simple sentence- (maybe 25% correct)-it takes me 5 times longer with Dragon than just hitting the keys.

Customer service is rude and unhelpful to the extreme.. Explain what you have (vers 13) and you are told that is a Legacy Product and no more customer service/support

AND told to buy vers 15 for 300 bucks..
Explain that if I cannot get Ver 13 to work, why would I spend a nickel on a new version that .likely also will not work.

This prompts the reply that for 40 bucks you can in fact get someone to help you--but you pay first---and if they do not fix the problem---sorry no refund--they have just stolen your 40 bucks.
Then they really get rude and tell you to go F--- yourself is so many words--that's the POLICY, and they ain't waiving it for you---and if you don't like it---well too F------ bad--they could care less. about whether you are happy or not, whether their product works or not--all they want you to do is spend ANOTHER $3-800 bucks for the newest version which there is no guaranty will work--so they will again have stolen your money..

They do have a money back guaranty--but why bother buying something likely not to work in the first place---and if their refund service is anything like their customer service then what are the chances you are not going to have trouble getting your money back.?

Taking this whole picture into account--it is clear that Dragon is junk, the people that sell it know that and are out for only one thing--selling you more junk.

Bottom Line-- S T A Y A W A Y !!!!!!!!! W A Y A W A Y!!!!!!!

No wonder Nuance, the creator/seller of this junk, LOST $250,000,000 last year and the stock prices are in the toilet--and if you own any stock--- S E L L !!! They ain't going to be around much longer--no one whose business plan depends on selling more and more junk can survive.

Funny isn't it--there is not ONE positive review on the 20 or so posted on this site.. There are damn good reasons for that.

Once again, for those that are hard of hearing--- S T A Y A W A Y !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nuance Denied Me of My Bonus Training

I bought Power PDF 3 on the premise that they would provide free bonus training. However, when the purchase was made, the free bonus training as promised on the email flyer was not made available.

When I contacted support, they did not even read my email, and instead sent me a canned answer with the standard download instructions. When I further emailed them, they denied that it was their offer, and that I had bought from a different vendor.

When I forwarded them the email flyer with all the headers, support said that they would check with management. It has been 2 months. No word from whatsoever.

This is outright cheating behaviour by Nuance. If they are not going to honour a promise, they shouldn't promise it. I would have bought the software anyway, but because of this bad experience, I am having second thoughts about the kind of company Nuance is.

MS Word documents crash

All open MS Word documents crash every time I start Dragon Naturally Speaking. I have used this product on and off over the past 4 years... but impossible to use for the past 2 years... and all Support replies try to get me to buy a newer edition .... rather than fix the bug in their own software.

Poor customer service

Long time customer, first time contacting Nuance customer service.

-They didn't bother to actually read my email to start with. I asked for a reset of serial number after computer failure, and they replied that as I hadn't bought extended download I couldn't download the software again !! (I already have the software! ).
They then didn't even bother to reply when I advised of this.
I wouldn't buy from Nuance again

Pessima esperienza con il loro software…

Pessima esperienza con il loro software Paperport 14, pagato oltre 50 euro, ha cessato di funzionare completamente, all'improvviso, dopo un aggiornamento di windows 10, e nonostante abbia aggiornato alla versione consigliata, la 14.5.
Se tento di accedere all'assistenza sul loro sito, non mi riconosce più il codice acquisto (sono passati oltre 2 anni).
