What a lovely experience i had here. The people were nice the store was enjoyable

Superb bookshop with very knowledgeable staff. If they don't have your book of choice in stock they will order it and even do deliveries.

I am brown, walked in and she started to look at me funny. The reason this place has good reviews isnt because the service or books are good but because the far right and neo nzis have rated her this high. Aside from that I started to try and have small talk but she just kept ignoring me and pushing me aside. I would not recommend you come here.

It's a lovely, proper old-school cosy bookshop that doesn't shy away from "controversial" media. A common sense, down to earth, traditional English book shop. Very refreshing.

A lovely welcoming bookshop. Lots of interesting books which cater for people wanting to read a wide spread of opinion from authors who are neglected by the mainstream due to subscribing to the perceived 'wrong narrative'.

It was a joy to find this lovely old fashioned bookshop and found them to be welcoming and helpful. The range of books are good and I managed to find what I wanted which was better than the more commercial bookstores. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Found a bookshop that seems to just sell books, not opinions or beliefs. How refreshing.
Books arrived promptly and wrapped to survive the rigors of the postal system. Kept me up to date on delivery since the first book I ordered was initially not in stock. When it arrived there was a lovely note inside as well.
Will be my no. 1 stop for books now on.

Had read some bad reviews, but I was happily surprised with the quality place, a real bookshop like they used to be
