We recently used Oliver & Co for two significant milestones, completing on our new home and writing our wills — and the experience was excellent from start to finish.

The team was professional, thorough, and reassuring throughout what can be quite a stressful process. Communication was clear and timely, and we always felt well informed at every stage. It's rare to find a firm that handles both conveyancing and estate planning with such care and attention to detail.

Absolutely outstanding service from Oliver & Co Solicitors throughout my entire house buying process. I had support from Jack, Lisa, Danielle and Charlotte, and what really impressed me was how seamlessly they all worked together. With multiple people involved I was worried things might get confusing, but the communication within the team and with me was excellent from start to finish.

Every update was clear, every step was explained and every question I asked was answered patiently. And believe me, I’m the type of person who has a lot of questions. Executing my mothers will;
Mum passed away March 2025. There was No real estate involved.
3 months ago we were advised 1-2 months for completion.
1 month ago Sophie advised they were preparing the estate accounts AND Still awaiting completion so that the family can finally get closure.

We have experienced;
*4 different people handling the file and I wonder how that effects efficiency, time (spent re reading) and our bill!
*delayed responses
* poor communication
* no sense of urgency*
*False hope
Overall, so far, a very disappointing experience.

Excellent service, quick response and smooth process from Chris and his team - Alistair, Cain and Jake. This is the second time I used their services and I wasn't disappointed. I would highly recommend them 👌

Want to call out Jake from the start - excellent communication, guiding us through a challenging sell/buy process with everything happening literally last minute!
Long time since we sold and bought houses in the UK. Oliver & Co were recommended to us by our estate agents and they did a very good job. 5 stars is for Jake, overall would say 4.5 as the comms at the beginning were a bit overwhelming and they didn’t chase when we missed something. App not always completely up to date and so many people involved (4 in our case) all online and in the end calls where needed. Overall did a very good job. Would recommend

Our house sale and purchase have now completed, and after an immensely stressful few weeks (due to issues completely outside of our control—and Oliver and Co.’s), we are finally settled into our new home.
We’re incredibly grateful to Amy and Darcey, who were outstanding from start to finish. Their communication was excellent throughout; they were always prompt in responding to queries and proactive in moving things forward. During the more challenging moments, they were not only professional but also genuinely supportive and empathetic, which made a real difference.
Despite several hurdles, the entire process—from start to completion—was handled within just 10–12 weeks, which is a testament to their efficiency and dedication.
