I cannot recommend Gav highly enough.

I lost my key to my Thule roofbox - Gav arrived later that day promptly and spend what ended up being nearly 2hours with a variety of different methods to A. get my access then, B. help me change the lock barrel.
Gav was brilliant and charged me the figure he quoted of £85.
I was expecting a much larger bill, after all it could have taken him just a couple of minutes but the Thule was a real pain.
Thanks to him, he disassembled the lock, drilled out the rivets in the process and had it all back together allowing me to take it on holiday.

Had a difficut to lock front door and rear French doors. Phoned Gavin on Thursday to make a non urgent appointment. He replied quickly even though he was on holiday and arranged to call in Sunday on the day after he returned home two days latter. Good coms as delayed due to an emergency call out to a local care home to access their medical cabinet. Kept well informed. Professional friendly with no hard sell. He adjusted all doors so they all open and close easily. I also asked him to change the basic barrel lock on the front door to a high grade security lock. He had one is his van van fitted there and then. Can't recommend Gavin highly enough and would definitely use again

I sent Gavin some photos of a faulty back door lock/handle and he provided a very reasonable quote. As he was already in my area he arrived within a couple of hours and stuck to his quote even though the job took longer and there was slightly more involved. Gavin is very genuine, friendly and personable and explains everything in detail. He made sure I understood all my options before starting the job.

Gavin was an absolute life safer. Husband managed to lock us out of our house with no house or car keys on a Sunday afternoon! Gavin arrived within 45 minutes and got us back in in next to no time. My door wasn’t locking, so I called late one night for help. He offered to come out straight away to secure it, which I really appreciated, even though I managed to sort it myself. The next day, he arrived promptly with all the parts needed and fitted a more secure lock, explaining clearly why the old one wasn’t very secure and what had caused the door to fail in the first place. He also repaired the inner workings of the door and fixed a few other issues I hadn’t even noticed. Fast, efficient, and genuinely professional service, I’d highly recommend him to anyone needing lock or door repairs. Now I have a locksmith I trust and can call whenever I have any issues!

Optimus Locksmiths came out to sort my door after it stopped locking randomly on Sunday afternoon. He didn’t have the part in stock to fix immediately, so put a temporary lock on so the house was safe overnight. Gavin returned a day later to sort it out with the part. Communication was great, I knew when he ordered the part, when it came and when he was planning on coming.

He was a good price, cheaper than others I called!

I would also like to add that as a woman on my own, I felt comfortable with him doing work in the house.

Will defo use again if needed!

Gavin the locksmith from optimus locksmiths in corby was at our house within 15 minutes of calling we had an issue with a snapped key in the lock he was very friendly and super efficient
When he got here he said that he could either take the key out of the lock that had snapped or replace the whole system for a tenner what a guy when he had finished he had also given me a safety feature that I had never thought of what a guy would definitely recommend to all
Forgot to mention this was at 730 pm at night and we were concerned that we would have no security for the night

Had Gavin out to change all of the locks at our offices. We were quoted over the phone and the price agreed. He turned up at the time he said he would and carried out the work quacking and efficiently.

Of the 5 locksmiths I called he was the only one that was easy to deal with!
