Excellent support once again. Helpful and friendly.

Once again excellent service from David and his staff. We had to have a new sun canopy fitted after a rogue gust of wind. The product was correctly ordered, expertly fitted and was done in the time frame quoted. Many thanks.

We went to Outdoorbits on a recommendation from a friend. We needed a new solar panel ,a wifi system and locks for our Autotrail motor home.
David was very helpful and gave us plenty of advice.

We've been using Outdoorbits for habitation checks for several years and for occasional maintenance. This year a fault was picked up with the fridge vent and they were able to fit a new exhaust and vent within days. Work is to a very high standard and all staff are friendly and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

I’ve had a very poor experience with this company following work they undertook on my Hymer Motorhome in February 2020. Firstly, they fitted wheel bearings that failed after 1000 miles and they refused to replace them as they had one year warranty and we had hardly used the vehicle due to the pandemic so it had been over a year since they were fitted. The garage that we paid to fit new bearings thought Outdoorbits used the wrong torque settings which is why they failed. Secondly, we paid £200 for a habitation check and never received a report despite numerous emails. Thirdly, they lost the vent of the fridge and it took months for them to find a replacement. I was very disappointed with the service and after care and will never use them again.

This one star is too much. Absolutely appalling service. Took the money and received no goods. Had to resort to going through the fraud dept with my bank to get my money back. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Do not use this company, I had to approach my bank in the end and file a retail dispute. They never replied to my emails, messages, phone calls, chat box etc. and deleted my messages from their Facebook page. I have only last week had my money returned from my bank and still no reponse from this 'Charlatan' company. From January to April they kept £4017.74 of my money and never contacted me again!!!!

The order has now being pushed forward to our distributer and being actioned. Lead time is 4 weeks.

Why did nobody respond to my phone calls or emails I left previously? 😡

I ordered an expensive campervan awning from fiamma online.com but it turned out to be a front for this company. The website said orders would be dispatched next day but the awning has not arrived one month later. They don’t answer emails, they don’t answer the phone and I had to open a PayPal dispute with them which they haven’t even responded to. It’s 9am on Wednesday and I just tried to call both their numbers five times and no one answered.

Ordered an item states 2-3 days delivery. Nothing. Message them day 5 to be told packaged but not dispatched, will arrive following week. Day 10 chased on 0845 number. 4 calls £6.95. Phone them on 01395830230 if you don't want to be ripped off. Told they would ring me or email me that day with update. Nothing. Email again, told packaged ready for dispatch will arrive next week, i.e. week 4. Started to read Trustpilot and Facebook Community a little too late. Seems, like me, people's calls go unanswered, their mailbox in their answerphone is full, they promise but don't deliver. They don't answer their WhatsApp messages, texts, voicemail. So I do not recommend them. I've emailed to cancel. I've also got my credit card company to chargeback. Sad as we've previously had good service and spent hundreds with them, but the reviews show lots of people who've spent more than me still having issues months later.

This is the fourth habitation service from Dave and the team and as usual it was excellent. Their knowledge is really good and they sorted out a faulty fridge in our first van which could have cost us a lot of money. They're a pleasure to deal with.

Dave and team at Outdoor Bits are always busy- a good sign! Honest analysis, combined with practical solutions are just what I expect and welcome. Thank you!

Ordered a door lock for my motorhome and paid via PayPal. I received confirmation from the company and stated that it should be received in 2-3 days. This was done on the 14th March. Nothing arrived so I sent them an email an received a generic reply stating that they would contact me within 3 days. No response received. I have tried telephoning them on numerous occasions but again no reply. I have emailed them 3 times and on each occasion received the same generic reply. I have now had to raise a dispute via PayPal to try to recover the £109 paid to this company.
I suspect PayPal will receive the same response as me!!!!

Needed a replacement cover for a Sargent Control Panel
After looking all over the net, could only find a complete Control Panel
Phoned Outdoor Bits spoken to a Great guy called Jack who informed me he would contact Sargent direct
Jack sent me a email with photos of the cover and informed me that Sargent would send a replacement cover Free of Charge and I would only have to pay the P&P
The item arrived the next day
Very easy to replace

Extortionate delivery prices! I ordered four small spare plastic covers for a Fiamma bike rack weighing a total of less than 50grams and had to pay over £10 for next day delivery. These were ordered at 14:02 on a Friday and it is now Tuesday and they still haven’t been dispatched; so much for next day delivery. Why they could not have sent them by Royal Mail on Friday at a fraction of the cost, I do not know, but next day delivery is all they offer. Terrible service.

Goods ordered over a week ago for next day delivery. No response to emails, calls, social media and no goods either. I understand things are challenging right now - but no info isn't OK. For now don't buy things here.

In the exmouth area and my water pump failed gave david and his team a call straight in top service , unit replaced ,back to having running water

I needed a new BCA power supply for my motorhome. Having looked at units at my local caravan supply outlets the price was eyewatering. Came across outdoor bits incredible offer and ordered straight away.
Delivery was fast and the unit, when installed worked as it should. Well done Outdoor Bits.

Recently bought a Gaslow product off Outdoorbits through there Gaslowshop website. Genuine product dispatched very quickly. Contacted there customer services via email my query was delt with quickly. Would happily use them again.

Outdoorbits supplied and installed a DriveRite semi air suspension kit for our camper van - excellent service, friendly, obliging and considerate. Booking system worked perfectly and am intending to return for other works to be done in due course. Thank you guys.

Recently had a solar panel and a reversing/rear view camera fitted to my campervan by OutdoorBits. The work was carried out over two days and the installation all appears to have been carried out to a good standard. I had previously ordered a Memo Cycle Van Swing from OutdoorBits which took many months to arrive, possibly a supplier problem and not OutdoorBits fault. However, OutdoorBits do need to improved their communication with customers. It is extremely difficult to speak with them, despite leaving numerous messages they failed to reply and as a customer you are just referred to a premium rate number which also gets no response or asked to complete a customer enquiry form. This lack of response/contact does leave you concerned that you are at risk if you commit to using OutdoorBits. Eventually I got a response from them and committed to booking my camper van in for the work. Everything went well, the solar panel and reversing camera were fitted and so far everything works as it should and I am happy with the work that was carried out. Would I use OutdoorBits again - probably - but they need to improved their communication with customers or people will go elsewhere.
