I recently took a trip to Thailand with my husband and our 12 year old twin daughters, and I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Out of Office. Maria coordinated the absolutely perfect trip for us from start to finish. The planning she provided was completely seamless, and she set us up with fantastic hotels that were not only wonderful but also in excellent locations, along with fabulous excursions and thoughtfully curated activities that made this a truly unforgettable vacation for my family.

Maria is incredibly easy to work with, so pleasant, responsive, and genuinely wonderful. She did an outstanding job recommending excursions and events that suited our family perfectly. Some of the highlights of our trip included an incredible cabaret show in Bangkok, visiting an elephant sanctuary in Koh Samui, and an unforgettable boat trip to Ang Thong National Marine Park, which was absolutely spectacular.

Out of Office also arranged tour guides for us through Destination Asia, and they were absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Mimi, was so kind and wonderful, an exceptional guide who spoke English very well and truly enhanced our experience.

This is now the third trip I have taken with Out of Office’s help, and the second time working specifically with Maria. I cannot recommend Maria and the entire Out of Office team enough. I will absolutely continue to use Out of Office for any trips I take outside the United States. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and care are truly unmatched.

We had a fantastic experience working with Maria Gardner at Out of Office in helping me plan a surprise 60th birthday celebration for my husband. Not an easy feat as we left from Philadelphia, flew to Palm Springs and then onto Kona Hawaii for the remainder of the trip, keeping all activities and fun things we had planned under wraps. Working with Maria was a pleasure, she was knowledgeable about our destinations, made recommendations for activities that we should do and see while there, and if she needed to do a more research on an activity, she was quick to reply with recommendations. I will definitely use out of office again and I’ve already recommended Maria to friends. As a matter of fact, we’re getting ready to book another trip in 2027 and looking forward to working with Maria again. Five stars across the board!

Repeat customers! Wolf and the Out of Office team planned an outstanding family-adventure in Japan. While it may not be possible to see all of Japan in two weeks, our well-crafted itinerary left us feeling like we came awfully close. :) Wolf has gotten to know our travel preferences over time and is quick to provide helpful insights and feedback (before, during and after the trip) that enhance our experience. This was our third trip booked through Out of Office and have recommended them to anyone we know. We trust them implicitly to curate trips that fit specifically for us and the type of traveler we are, as well as making sure we are safe and comfortable as an LGBT couple in another country. Whenever it's time to plan a vacation, our first reaction to one another is "it's time to call Maria!"

Not all trips go off without a hitch. It's a fact of travel. But anytime something went off-schedule, both the guides they connected us with as well as their 24 hour number have come through to our rescue. It's a huge weight off of our shoulders to not fret about the specific details of each booking & transfer so we can just enjoy our time out of the country.

It has been years since I used a travel planner and wasn't sure what to expect. What I got, was a thoughtful 45-minute conversation with Wolf O'Neill, a fully baked itinerary with hotels, tours, car service pick-up and drop-off and a fantastic trip to Thailand for me and the family. It was amazing to work with someone who could recommend all the best things to do and to not spend hours doing the work myself. There were several times during the trip that I needed help to make last minute changes was able to reach either Wolf or one of his teammates. It was clear that he was completely focused on making sure we had a great experience.

This was not only our first time working with OutOfOffice, but also our first time working with an agency and the experience could not have been any better. From the start, our agent, Hannah, was friendly, professional, and attentive to our travel wish list. Hannah did a great job pulling together an initial itinerary for Greece but was also incredibly helpful and flexible as we tailored the itinerary to our personal preferences. We can't wait for the trip and will definitely be using OutOfOffice in the future - Hannah was an exemplary representative and we can't wait to work with her again on our NEXT vacation.

Working with Wolf and the whole team at OOO was an amazing experience. From start to finish, the entire process happened seamlessly and I really appreciated their level of communication and attention to detail. Our trip was not a typical vacation. Rather, it was to explore relocation possibilities for retirement. Wolf O'Neill and Out of Office delivered an amazing journey, with a few fun activities sprinkled in, that got us a lot closer to definitively choosing Costa Rica as our retirement home.

This trip had a lot of moving parts, and it went off without a hitch. From pickup at the San José airport to drop-off at the Liberia airport - and five hotels in between - everything ran like clockwork (and this in a country known more for its relaxed "Tico Time" than punctuality!).

Out of Office arranged an English-speaking private driver for our entire stay. He masterfully handled the unbelievable traffic in San José as well as many dirt roads on the Nicoya peninsula as we visited potential retirement destinations urban and rural. He not only knew the best places to show us, but also introduced us to people, such as realtors, that we'll need for any future relocation. He even facilitated having our laundry done mid-trip!

Having a private driver relieved us of having to figure out an itinerary and allowed us to see so much more of the country than we would have been able to arrange on our own. Our focus was on the northwest coast, from Playa Hermosa to Nosara and Sámara. We visited popular beach towns like Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo, but also visited places like Las Catalinas - a new town being built north of Playa Flamingo and marketed to expats - and beaches so remote that we were the only people there.

In the end, we have narrowed down our Costa Rican retirement possibilities to the area between Playa Hermosa and Tamarindo, with a strong preference for the Playa Flamingo area. Seeing so much of the country and being able to rule in - and rule out - potential retirement locations was extremely helpful.

Everyone at Out of Office was always helpful, friendly and professional. The few concerns we had as we prepared for our trip were always handled quickly. Wolf O'Neill, with whom we worked most closely, was especially courteous and attentive. We are looking forward to working with Out of Office again for future overseas adventures!

Sam came up with great ideas for very last minute travel when some other plans had fallen through. They listened carefully, were flexible as I hopped the globe with dreams, and tailored potential itineraries to fit our travel style.

Samantha McCormack was beyond wonderful in helping us plan our trip. We needed a very curated trip as we are all senior citizens with various health issues. She never made us feel uncomfortable as was so understanding . I also felt the trip she curated meet our budget requirements while still providing luxury accommodations and personal service. Working with Alice has made planning this trip remarkably easy. She is exceptionally organized and stays on top of every detail, which gives us complete confidence that nothing will be overlooked. What stands out most is how well she listens to us. She truly understands what we are looking for and “gets it” right away, so we never have to repeat ourselves or remind her about things.

From the moment we landed at Male, to the moment we checked in our luggage on the way back, all our needs were met and we were looked after with such care and gentleness, that made this Holiday of a Lifetime. It’s amazing being able to observe marine life around the reef, while relaxing on a small island with very few people nearby, and a cocktail or two to welcome the extraordinary sunsets. Food was fresh and along with the local dishes it was absolutely delicious.

Maria Gardner is FANTASTIC!! We had decided on a few places and had to pivot and Maria stuck with us while making a ton of changes for a couple of weeks. We used Out of Office Travel for a high cost, multi guest luxury trip to St. Barts in February 2026.

This was not a single mistake situation. It was a pattern of coordination gaps before and during the trip that required significant involvement from us to manage.

Before departure, several guests experienced slow responses and repeated paperwork requests. Elements were added to the itinerary without consultation and later described as non changeable, even when timing allowed flexibility. Agreed items from calls were not always executed. We found ourselves recirculating notes and following up frequently.

During the trip, on the ground partners often lacked clarity on schedules and expectations. We stepped in multiple times to coordinate details directly. When we had an arrival issue, support was limited. Return flights were initially assigned incorrectly and had to be adjusted last minute.

The local villa team and subcontractors were professional and easy to work with. Ultimately we coordinated directly with them to stabilize plans.

To be fair, there was a thoughtful personal gesture during the trip that we appreciated. On a human level that meant something.

However, at this price level, clients should not need to manage logistics, chase follow through, or correct flight assignments. For a standard trip this might be frustrating. For a premium, multi guest event, it becomes consequential.

We would not use the firm again for a luxury group experience in its current structure. Future clients should ensure there is clear accountability, proactive communication, and confirmed itinerary accuracy throughout the process. We did reach out to the ceo on LinkedIn a week ago and haven’t heard back which is why we took this approach.
