Since discovering Pennington Housing and attending their webinars, I have found the sessions extremely informative and valuable to my role within social housing. They have provided plenty of food for thought, particularly around how I approach and communicate with our customers when they contact me regarding issues or concerns while works are being carried out as part of the programmes I oversee.

One of the key things I have taken from the webinars is the importance of being flexible and understanding our customers' individual circumstances. Where possible, I try to work around their needs and availability while ensuring that the required works continue to progress. The sessions have helped reinforce the importance of looking at situations from the customer's perspective and considering how our approach can influence their overall experience.

I have also found that many of the topics covered by Pennington complement and sometimes run in parallel with our own internal training courses. With regulations, guidance and expectations within social housing continually evolving, their webinars provide a useful way of keeping up to date with developments and, on occasions, have helped me feel one step ahead of forthcoming changes.

Another aspect I particularly enjoy is being able to share what I have learned with my colleagues. The webinar panels are consistently well selected, with speakers who are knowledgeable and experienced within their respective fields. As a result, I nearly always come away with either new information, a different perspective, or a valuable refresher on something I may already have encountered within my role.

Overall, I feel that Pennington Housing's webinars have contributed positively to my continued professional development. They help me keep pace with the fast-moving social housing sector, broaden my knowledge and, most importantly, put me in a better position to support our customers and respond effectively to the issues they may experience.

The webinars are always well presented and informative. I learn a lot from these Webinars and also refresh my current knowledge. The webinar was interactive and which helps to keep viewers engaged throughout and allows you to ask questions if needed.

The course was extremely useful, especially going through the importance of collating data on attempts to gain access, including any necessary equalities and diversity checks should you need to go to court for forced access.

Having worked with the Team on a close basis over the last year, they really do go that extra mile.

The session provided some really great insight from experienced professionals and provided clarity around expectations and appropriate legal process. It also enabled views and experiences from colleagues in the sector to be shared and discussed.

Excellent webinar with clear explanations of Awaab's Law Phase 2. The session provided a good understanding of the challenges ahead, government resolutions, and the critical need for adequate funding. It was refreshingly honest about what was required. Very little in the way of jargon. Time was apportioned to address numerous questions. It gave a clear 'direction of travel' for whatever level of preparedness you think you are at.

The information was clear, to the point and direct.

There was a lot of clear context, without the need to have too much time, learnt a lot in the hour. All speakers had vast knowledge and were friendly. They all had a understanding of the challenges faced in our sector.

Very interesting and informative webinar from Pennington Choices - Certified B Corp on Awaab’s Law – Phase 2. It was particularly useful to understand the upcoming requirements, practical implications, and how housing providers can prepare to ensure compliance and, most importantly, protect residents’ health and wellbeing.
