I am a hairdresser and previously studied at Toni&Guy, so I understand the importance of consultation and patch testing. I had already completed a patch test and had a consultation before booking because I wanted a root touch up.

When I arrived for my appointment, the salon could not find any record of my patch test and repeatedly asked whether I had actually completed one. I was then told by another hairdresser that the product was not suitable for my hair and that the colour I wanted could not be achieved. I was subsequently asked to complete another patch test because they wanted to use a different product.

This was extremely frustrating because these issues could have been clarified during the initial consultation. I had an event to attend and the appointment ended up wasting a considerable amount of my time.

As someone with Asian hair, I was particularly disappointed that the salon could not provide a clear solution for a straightforward brunette root touch up. I expected better communication, professionalism and preparation from a salon of this standard. Very disappointing experience.

Saoirse did an amazing job colouring my hair, and Sandra styled it beautifully. I’m absolutely delighted with the results, the colour is gorgeous, the finish is fabulous, and my hair looks and feels amazing!

Both Saoirse and Sandra were so friendly and professional, taking the time to make sure I was completely happy with everything. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the whole salon has such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere.

I would highly recommend Saoirse, Sandra and the entire team at Peter Mark Clonmel. Thank you for such a wonderful experience - I’ll definitely be back!

The staff are always very friendly and helpful from the young lady who shampoos to the receptionist.
Although I am not a weekly client I like they treat everyone.

It’s getting too expensive. The blowdry should be part of the colour treatment . Otherwise I am happy with the stylist that looks after me.
