Complained about service received. I then receive a letter, which has resolved nothing. Simply suggests that I'm wrong and their right!!
Like I said on the phonecall.. leave me alone as I will never come back nor recommend you.

We came back from holiday not realising we didn't have enough tablets left for our 15 years old westie to continue his course. I phoned up this morning and spoke to Debbie who explained there's a 24hour wait before prescriptions can be picked up. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of this. However, Debbie said she would try her best to get the tablets for today and I had to phone back at 4pm. When I phoned back Debbie said the tablets were all ready and to be picked up. I want to say thank you so much to all the staff involved. This is the best vets we've ever had in care, helpfulness, support, friendliness, and going beyond their jobs to their best. Thank you again Deborah

Took my ill dog there on a saturday morning and got a diagnosis which was incorrect ,By Saturday night she became more ill and had to go to the out of hours emergency out of hours vet who diagnosed Pancreities .I was charge just short of £2000 and my beloved dog had to stay overnight on Sunday morning had to be put to sleep . Only 7 years old and i wonder if she was diagnosed early she could have been saved . I don't know for sure but makes you think .

Balby Rd surgery fantastic staff very friendly always happy to help, excellent vets go beyond just doing their job compassionate bedside manner when I said goodbye to one of mine and always happy to explain or just alleviate any worries during appointments ' not sure the new administration system works aswell as it did before the update does seem to back up.the que and make things a little harder for the staff but apart from that I can't recommend them enough ' I have to travel far out of my way to get their but honestly wouldn't go anywhere else the distance is definitely worth the service 😀 absolutely 2 thumbs up 👍👍

The team at The Pet Vet (Barnsley) made a real difference to both my assistance dog's health & my 'neurodiverse' well-being today - and I cannot thank them enough! I was so upset & frustrated with the condition my (now previous) vets had treated me with & my dog was to be left in pain.
On reception, Lucie listened to me with compassion & understanding when I phoned to make the appointment (offered the same day as a new client). I was greeted by both Lucie & Debbie and their client care standards were simply outstanding - they CARED & I felt validated. Thank you both so much!
The consulting vet was brilliant with both me and my boy. He took the time to discuss our new medications & was so lovely with my assistance dog. What a wonderful & compassionate team - this is a review by a Referral VN, & trust me, I cannot recommend them highly enough! Thanks again!

Amazing and friendly staff at Barnsley! I have had to have my XL bully neutered and they got my girl in same day for a pre op consultation and then 1 week later for the neutering! They was so friendly and caring the staff and they have gone above and beyond with my girl! I couldn’t wish to take my girl anywhere else! So happy with the service and the vets is nice and clean and modern! Even gave us 20% off due to the breed and government requirements! Very happy! Thank you!

The pet vet Dalton Rotherham had lots of problems with this lot stay clear unless u want to re morgage your house. Very unprofessional Linda the vet who was busy on her phone for 15 minutes before seeing me with a poorly puppy. Wanted to charge me £700 for x rays and said over a thousand for surgery as the puppy was only 4 weeks its obvious I have no insurance, and having the same issues before with a previous puppy the best thing to do is euthanasia which I asked for, as I said I can not afford the money for a puppy who's survival is minimal, Linda said I shouldn't be breeding puppies if I can not afford it! Which is when I lost the plot. Its all about money the pet vet no wonder they can drive luxury cars and have big fat diamond rings on their fingers. I have literally spent thousands in this place but I'm done now and will never recommend this place to anyone.

The vets at Lincoln are wonderful, however have serious concerns regarding insurance. Overcharged twice last year. Dog has had 2 blood test over 700 pounds. Need to check this. Sadly looks like changing vets.

Bought the Pet Health Plan for my cat but for a year I never received any texts informing me the flea/worming treatment was ready or he was due his boosters or any communication at all. So I was paying but not receiving anything for it. Therefore, I went in to the Barnsley branch to try and sort this out and the receptionist (I can't remember her name Debbie maybe?) was really helpful. She put loads of effort into sorting the issue for me and she managed to sort a recourse of vaccines as he had lapsed on them. Thankyou.

We sadly had our boy put to sleep in April last year and the vet who did it was so kind and compassionate even the receptionist had compassion and took us to a side room when we came out without our boy. 3 days later a letter. Dropped through the door and it was a lovely card with my boys paw print and some forget me not flowers seeds absolutely beautiful and thoughtful

The branch The Pet Vet Lincoln I go to is great but your insurance department are not great at processing onward claims. My insurance company asked for further information on 28th January and today that information STILL hasn't been forthcoming.
I have spoken to the Rotherham claims department again so hopefully they will sort this out.
I have never had issues with her previous practice Vets4Pets, why can't you get it right?
I am very tempted to move her to someone else if I can't do direct claims in the future. You will probably do it properly when it is your money you are chasing from the insurance.
Update - I moved her, yet another claim is being delayed...

Great vets.

Absolutely awful support staff. Twice the claims we've submitted to our insurance company have been changed leaving us out of pocket (one was for over £1000) for months while we had to chase up the errors.

We will be moving and it's a shame as the vets are very, very good with our dogs but I can't handle the stress of having to chase up getting money back that I've paid out because someone seems to think changing forms that have been completed is ok.

I wanted to book an appointment for my dog spaying but because I didn't have £50 in advance they refused. I'm a pensioner so I don't have a spare £50 ever, until I get paid. I've been with them for years, yet they still don't trust me to turn up. Last June my old dog was coughing and passing out. She did this three times during the night. I went there for an emergency and because I hadn't got the money, they turned me away. The next night, my dog had the same coughing fits five times. I had to borrow £150 from my neighbour to see a vet. She had severe heart problems. I'd complained that she'd never have survived for six more days without a vets care. They agreed, but said it was their rules. They care more about money than the care of pets. 13 years ago, you could get the vet to accept a payment later, for an emergency, so I didn't have pet insurance. I do have it for this dog. Shame on you vets for not caring anymore. I wish I could leave you. There's no PDSA in my area.

Took my puppy to pet vet Lincoln in March as he had a minor scratch on eye.
Vets treated him and then kept saying we need follow ups , four more times . We were told these will be at no extra cost.
September I suddenly get three threatening letters demanding money. Have rang a few times and emailed but they will not sort this.
They seam to be scamming people! To get more money

Shocking experience. Puppy had to come back to vets for second jab after breeder gave the first. Explained our situation to receptionist (Travel for 1 and half hours to attend). Arrived at booked appointment to be told the vaccine couldn't be given as one day too early. We had given DOB and 1st vaccine date when booking appointment, completely their error.
Vet was so rude. Would not recommend.

Best vets ever , and I've worked at a few myself. Saved my otherwise very healthy 18 year old dog from heart failure. He's now thriving following his emergency heart scan and meds. Lukas is a very caring, knowledgeable vet .

I would have given them a 5 purely because the staff are really good.however check your estimates first at the end of the day they play on the fact you love your pet.I got an estimate of 600 so I questioned it and included in the estimate were items not applicable for example my pet is less than 6yrs old,less than 20kg.In the end the bill was 300 but if I hadn’t have questioned this then I would have paid the original amount because I love my pet!So beware and double check

Freindly and helpful. We have 5 pets who have all been vaccinated, neutered and cared for by The Pet Vet Doncaster. They really listen and are so friendly, and our pets always seem comfortable with them. One of them actually jumls in the pet carrier every time someone else is taking a trip to the vets he loves them so much! Wouldn't take them anywhere else.

Just joined Petvet today Wakefield rd Barnsley.. Debbie on reception absolutely fantastic, made me feel really welcome… Really helpful, gave me a full guided tour round the vets…showed me operating room,X ray room… Fantasic..😁 Couldn’t’ be more helpful.. Really looking forward to our visit this week with our Little girl Heidi🐶 I am sure she will be happy to meet you all at such a lovely place… Thankyou once again👍🐾
