Great service from Phillips Hobbies
Problem seems to be with Royal Mail. Conflicting tracking messages including that my parcel is now in Dunoon but will be delivered today. Dunoon is 2 hours + a ferry journey away from me! I have now had a spam text asking for my address. Troubling- and no parcel received!

From the tracking, I can see that it was dispatched two days ago, has reached your local Glasgow Mail Centre, and will be delivered soon. I understand that the conflicting tracking messages must be frustrating. It seems to me that the parcel was initially missorted.
Regarding the spam text you received, please rest assured that you did not provide us with your phone number, so it isn’t connected to this order.

Phillip's Hobbies excellent service and value.
I have bought items from Phillip's Hobbies a few times now and they have always been great. The item I bought this time was one that I'd intended to get from somewhere for a while. I just stumbled across it on Phillip's Hobbies website and the price was very good and reasonable so I ordered it. It came with great speed, was well packaged and the postage rate was good too.
Even in this age of buying things remotely via the internet, Phillip's Hobbies clearly value 'customer care'. They keep in touch through email all the way, from making the purchase initially to sending the item and letting you know when it will arrive.
I will always have Phillip's Hobbies in my mind when I next purchase something connected to transport.
