I have shopped with Play.com for a few years now and I would highly reccomend. Never had an issue always on time and great quality/value.

I have shopped with play since 2002 and ordered over 235 items in that time. Items that I order are always delivered extremely quickly. I have found their prices are ultra competitive and the postage is free. I have never had any problems with quality or delivery. I had a problem with a DVD that I ordered recently, as I did not realise it was in a foreign language, no problems at all in returning it for an immediate refund. Highly recommended

I always used to buy stuff from Play.com but more recently I've found their prices often aren't as good as Amazon.co.uk and they seem to have introduced things which show adverts, after you've bought something, for other annoying offers like "Get £10 off your next order if you sign up for a trial on one of these other sites..." etc. It was nicer when it was simpler... 3 clicks and a password and I'd be done without any extras in my face!

I've bought DVDs and a TV (at a discounted price due to damage to the box!) and they've all been far cheaper than elsewhere but excellent quality. Delivery if often/always free too.

Play.com is always my first port of call for any entertainment/electrical goods. They are usually the cheapest & have a huge selection to choose from. Free delivery is great & tends to arrive within a few days. Highly recommended!

Had a problem today, that when I sent a product back for a refund I didn't receive my refund. I rang them, they told me to send my proof of postage in an email. Then half an hour later it was all sorted.

I only came to this website to leave a negative review of website which I had a terrible experience with. So thought I'd leave this too, as it seems to be the polar opposite experience.

I bought an internet dongle and the service was great.

Im had a bit of a problem with one of the fair play traders and Play were not very helpful , until I emailed them then they started listening but it was a while before they comntacted me , as an apology they offerd me £15.00 voucher but it was too late i wont be shopping there any more

Play.com is a good website but to be honest I would only use it if it was cheaper than amazon and HMV because the delivery takes a bit longer than them. But still a great website. 100 million times better than TheHut anyways! But that's not hard!

I've been using Play since 2002, ordered over 400 items from them and up until Rakuten took them over they had been faultless. They've now removed any sort of communication with customer service and made the whole returns/missing items process amazingly convoluted. I'm currently trying to chase a missing item which was tracked, it was allegedly delivered 2 weeks ago, the only communication I have had from play after 2 weeks and multitudes of contacts is:
"We are sorry for the delay in responding to your email but we have recently moved our contact centre back to the UK and whilst we are currently in a transitional period we are unfortunately taking slightly longer in responding to emails."
It has taken them 2 weeks to send a standard apology email, and they think that's reasonable? Just don't bother Play, you've lost my custom and if you don't give me a proper response soon then I'll be taking you to small claims court.
