Great company. They offer shipping of small items as Royal Mail letters, with a significant saving on shipping costs for small orders.

This is always the case with great companies online. Not all the happy customers post their good experiences.

Ignore the bad reviews; they are just from bitter people who are set out to destroy good companies because they are unreasonable and entitled.

Please order with this company with assurance that they are great to deal with, and the products are 10/10.

Dreadful Company to deal with
I must echo so many of the reviews below, looks good on the surface but terrible customer service.
I ordered a Rothenberger ultimate soldering kit in Mid Jan 2025, most of the kit arrived but missing 3 items.
I have been chasing the balance of the order ever since without any success.
Advised initially out of stock and a due date, due date passed and no goods.
I then chased again, and they just stopped responding, nothing for weeks despite numerous e-mails chasing.
I have now resorted to a section 75 charge back via my credit card company, and contemplating referring them to Trading Standards.
This type of theft by deception can’t be allowed to continue, you have messed with wrong guy on this.

I decided that I would pursue this to the bitter end and did a section 75 charge back via my credit card provider, as they are jointly liable when you make a purchase using a Credit card. Yes, it was time consuming filling out forms and gathering the information required was tedious but why should Plumbing Supplies Direct get away with theft.
Two months after placing the order I received the balance of the non-supplied goods.
Not a word of apology or sorry.
If you must order from them, use a Credit card as it does give some security that you will be supplied eventually.

AWOID! Ive never received my in line scale inhibitors.
No moneys back as well... Looks like will have to take legal actions.

I placed an order for a thermostat. The following Monday, I received an email request that I review the company. I phoned them because I had NOT received the product I had ordered. I was asked for the order number - "it is on the confirmation email we sent you" - no confirmation email had been sent! The person who'd answered said I will look into this for you - then came back to me and said - "I'll have to investigate this further and call you back tomorrow" Tuesday I received no call. Phoned on Wednesday, "Oh we don't have this in stock - we MAY - be able to get it from somewhere - or we an cancel the order and give you a refund". I requested a refund and was told the refund would be processed that day, but it would take 3-5 days depending upon my bank. I may return to update this review if there is a delay in getting my refund. All in all ordering from this company has been a waste of my time.

Placed order successfully, message on screen was next day delivery with parcel force. No emails or order confirmation received 2 days later - called them and they didn't even have my item in stock, told me i can expect to receive the item 4 days laters, not great.

I placed an order 11284944, on the 7th of October. I paid extra for fast, Parcelforce delivery, planning to do some DIY over the weekend.
I received no confirmation email of the purchase. Not a surprise, I received no goods.
Put a claim on PayPal. I was supposed to read feedback here before buying.

Quick postage and good price for the boiler thermostat I needed. Like others have said no email to confirm order but ordered on Monday and arrived Wednesday. Recommended.

Don't let reviews put you off. I ordered before looking at the reviews so I was apprehensive myself but all went well. It's a little strange not having a confirmation email but delivery was prompt and tracking was provided. Overall I'm happy with my experience

The products I selected were showing in stock. I ordered, money was taken and I received a despatch notification Days later I was advised that there was no stock availability and would I like to wait? Not recommended

I ordered a “ Rothenberger Ultimate Plumbers Soldering Tool Bag & kit “ and I was a bit hesitant after reading all the bad reviews but it came 2 days later in perfect condition with everything in so for me they get 5 stars as they were the best priced and very quick.

Item ordered was noted as in stock. Was notified not in stock by email and it will be sent as soon as it arrives. 1 month and still not arrived. After numerous emails with no reply and customer service number keeps ringing out to answer phone. Spend your money elsewhere

Avoid this company.

Purchased an item from PSD in May 2024. Paid delivery charge and the item (stop cock key) was delivered as expected. However when the item arrived I found the key to be too small. Emailed the company with the ref number etc and they provided the address to return the item. I had to pay for Post Office registered delivery. After 4 weeks + no reply: emailed PSD twice asking for a refund of my cost price. No reply both occasions.
Very poor post purchase customer service.

Honestly! JUST DONT USE THEM!

Gives fake tracking number so they can take your money! Just a scam!
Don’t waste your time emailing them as they won’t answer!
After 2 weeks I ended up getting Paypal to refund me!

Terrible company to deal with. Ignores all communication. Order placed and money taken from account. 2 days later I get an email stating some items were out of stock, so I said send out what's in stock. Then I receive an email saying my whole order was refunded. They have lost a big contract as I won't be ordering from them again. I would suggest staying away from this company.

order processed & paid - 2 days later they told me out of stock - cancelled order by email 4 times - can only get answer phone if you call - they still sent the order - arrived almost 2 weeks after initial order - they ignore your emails - do not keep you updated - cant get through on phone - wont happen to me again !

We ordered a part for our boiler online, with stock availability on the Monday, during -7 temperatures for next day delivery. Money went out of the account, we tried to call but no answer, just went to answer phone. I sent an email, still no response. I managed to speak to someone on the Friday who said they are out of stock. This had no been communicated. Now awaiting a refund. We will not be using you again. Very unreliable.

Ordered tools, I ordered the wrong product, getting a a refund is a nightmare.

I ordered a plumbing kit of which due to its contents required it to be delivered in two parcels when none of them arrived I phoned using the number on there headed invoice I spoke to a gentleman who told me he would contact parcel force and get them re delivered a couple of days later one arrived since then I have made several phone calls to the same number I used before only getting an answer machine I have left messages and also sent an Email with NO reply I have
As yet still not received items I have paid for I would never use this company again.
