No Respect for customer feedback
Several days ago, I contacted Plus Fitness via email to cancel my membership. They instructed me to complete the cancellation through their member portal. Following their guidance, I attempted to use the Plus Fitness app, believing it was the correct portal they referred to. However, after thoroughly navigating the app, I found no option to cancel the membership.
When I informed them that their competitor, Anytime Fitness, provided a simple and straightforward online form for cancellations, Plus Fitness dismissed my feedback. They provided vague explanations distinguishing between their app and portal, rather than addressing my difficulty or acknowledging the misleading instructions they had originally provided.
This process seems deliberately complex, misleading, and unfairly designed to discourage members from easily cancelling, potentially allowing the business to continue charging membership fees unfairly
