La cabane Sonja avec sa mezzanine est ravissante! Et semble très solide. Elle n’est cependant pas des plus simples à assembler. Beaucoup de planches libres donc un temps de montage important (surtout quand le bois a un peu travaillé). Mais le plus long est de traiter et peindre le bois pour le protéger. À ce prix, le traitement du bois devrait être inclus. Les délais de livraison sont bons. Je recommande.

Nå er boden reist og malt. Den har blitt et koselig bidrag på tunet.

Elektrisitet er koblet opp med utvendig og innvendig lys og kontakter innvendig for å lade el-sykler. Utrolig betryggende å få el-syklene utenfor husets vegger. I tillegg har vi fått et tørt sted å lagre utstyr for hagebruk.

We are delighted with our sauna (Grindavik in thermowood) that arrived in kit form. Very well packaged and the delivery team went to great lengths to overcome access challenges. All components were of the highest quality and even though the process was a bit more challenging for me than I anticipated, I am thrilled with the result and very glad I could rope in a few more skilled pairs of hands to help me. The Polhus team always responded quickly to all our questions and helped us troubleshoot every detail.

I ordered a Jorvik sauna with wood burning stove in May 2025 and elected to construct myself.

I chose Polhus and the Jorvik sauna on the basis of the design, materials and the attention to detail. Many other barrel sauna available in the UK failed to match Polhus in terms of design, but they did do better on price however. Polhus are not the cheapest.

Placing the order was relatively straightforward but I would say Polhus could do better with more proactive correspondence. I did have to chase a few times to get updates. However, Katriina in the UK did answer all my questions and concerns quickly via email and WhatsApp.

The sauna was delivered when I requested and the kit was well packaged. No missing or defective parts. (Wood being natural is hard to guarantee consistent finish, grain, etc)

Construction was relatively easy, as long as you can get a few helping hands for some of the early stages. The main structure was complete in one weekend. The roof, burner and shingles completed the next week.

I did need some technical assistance and was connected to Malmö staff, including a senior member of staff who stepped in to assist when my allocated engineer had a small family crisis.

Since construction the sauna has been used heavily and now regard it as money very well spent. As the timber is thermo wood (oh that smell!) I do expect it to continue serve me for many years to come.

Det var nog mer jag än hustrun som längtade men efter att vi fått hem bastutunnan Loke och monterat den på ett par dagar så är vi lika förtjusta i den båda två. Vi valde att behandla den med tjärvitriol och resultatet blev mycket bra. Jag var osäker på storleken men rymden är fullt tillräcklig och tack vare Lokes panoramafönster bjuder bastun på en riktigt fin utsikt.

Jeg fik en grundig vejledning inden jeg modtog min sauna. Saunaen ankom meget fint pakket ind og intet i kassen var beskadiget. Selve brugsvejledningen kunne være lidt svært at tyde til tider, kunne godt være beskrevet bedre, fotos ganske fine.

Nous avons eu une très bonne expérience avec Polhus. Le service client a toujours été réactif et disponible pour répondre à nos questions, que ce soit avant l’achat ou pendant la livraison. Le chalet correspond exactement à la description, les matériaux sont de qualité et bien conçus. Le montage a demandé un peu d’organisation, mais les instructions étaient claires et complètes.

Nous sommes très satisfaits du résultat final et pouvons recommander Polhus à ceux qui souhaitent investir dans une construction bois de qualité.

Le sauna est beau et la construction se fait assez bien et un SAV au top! Il y a tpujours quelqu un pour vous repndre car des questions vous en aurez, les plan sont mal fait, il manque beaucoup d informations et on perd un temps incroyable à essayer de deviner les choses alors qu une petite coupe tehnique arrangerait tout.
