Cannot believe how easy Pollards made moving day!! Jacob, John & Dale were punctual, polite, cheerful, friendly, helpful & worked so hard to ensure everything was handled properly & to my satisfaction.
I cannot recommend them highly enough & will never do another move without them!

We moved from West Yorkshire to North Yorkshire. The moving team were great.
The packing was done very quickly into two vans. Danny suggested two vans, great idea. The team were friendly and efficient and unpacking the vans at our new house was equally as smooth. Thanks to all.

I first came into contact with Danny Pollard in 2025 when I had sold my property and Danny plus two other companies came to quote for my job. Danny was much more of a ‘hands on’ person in the way he weighed up my needs for the move. We had a good chat also which was very informative and I chose Pollards as they certainly were, in my opinion, the best Company for my needs.
All went well with the lads packing my belongings up and taking them in to storage as there was a legal delay before I could move. My furniture was in storage for 6 months, very reasonably priced, then I could give instructions for the final move in January 2026.
Again, this was carried out with care by the lads.
I also dealt with Shannon in the office each month to make my payment and she was great to.
Conclusion: you will not regret for a minute your choice if you choose Pollards to handle your move and storage if needed.
I certainly award them a full 5* review.

A huge thank you to Pollards for our move yesterday from Royton to Holmbridge. I had looked at & contacted various removal companies but from the very start there was something more personal with Pollards, from the home visit from Danny to assess and discuss our needs. There was brilliant communication with the office team but hats off to the guys on our actual moving day!

After brief introductions & quick look at the house they worked like troopers packing up the 2 vans even though they were supplied with cups of tea-quick swig- and off they went again. 4 hours later the van was packed and on the road.
At the other end our move was more challenging with a busy road and 18 steps down to our new house - and it had started to rain! I’m sure our ears should have been burning as the worst job ever - but they were so professional they honestly did not stop. Little bit of an issue getting a table thought the front door - but after a quick assessment, a screwdriver & a spanner - Jacob went above and beyond kneeling in the pouring rain dismantling it to get it in for us. Eventually all the furniture and boxes were in and they left us to unpack.
What a great bunch of guys, tipping you all was well deserved.
Thank you Danny for suggesting 2 vans & 4 men -your price was competitive- but you were the only company to suggest this and I honestly don’t know how it could have been completed with only 2 men as others proposed!

Can not thank the guys at pollards enough, moving my parents was a difficult process made so much easier with pollards. One full day expertly packed at lightning speed and the moving day could not have gone any smoother.Such care was taken to make sure everything was in place at the new house, nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Jacob who is a real credit to the company.

What a great set of fella’s. Danny is a lovely, friendly guy, he came and gave us a quote and his lads who moved us were fantastic. They worked so hard and were careful with all our belongings. They were all courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

We have used pollards twice now for two home moves and would recommend to everyone.
We used the packing service for our last move and couldn’t believe how quick and easy it made everything. All items were packed with care and so well organised. On the day they are quick and efficient and all the lads were really friendly. It made what is normally a stressful experience feel so much easier.
Danny is great and so helpful. He got everything set up and knew exactly what we would need etc. 10/10 and if we ever did move again would always use.

Pollards recently moved us to Anglesey (130 miles). From start to finish they were outstanding.
It all started with a visit from Danny Pollard to give us a quote which was not only competitive, he also saved us money by advising on insurances, no other company we spoke to did this.
As we neared moving date our purchase became complicated and stressful. We needed to commit to our planned date but conveyancing issues were threatening to delay it. Danny was so supportive through this process and we eventually only solidly confirmed our date with one working days notice.
Our move was over two days. Jacob and Harvey were brilliant. They were extremely hard working, diligent, very careful with our belongings and really nic patient guys. They loaded up, drove to Anglesey, dropped of our essential overnight stuff and returned the next morning by which time it was pouring with rain. By the time they finished (lunchtime) they were soaked to the skin but still cheerful and smiling. Despite the rain the care for our stuff was still apparent and they even covered the carpets in our new home with waterproof covering before unloading.
Access for them was a very narrow lane and upon leaving they had to negotiate a trailer someone had left parked. This took them a good 15 mins to inch past without damaging either vehicle, they took it all in their strike.
This is acompany with excellent attention to detail and world class customer service.
Moving house is stressful but Pollards took this part of it totally off our shoulders.

We chose Pollards for a move of the full contents of a four-bedroomed house after obtaining three quotations. Danny Pollard was extremely helpful and friendly in concluding the arrangements. The team did some fragile packing a few days before the actual move. On the moving day, three guys swiftly, carefully and professionally filled the van within about three hours.

When we arrived at the new house, in torrential rain, just two guys emptied the van, placing everything exactly where we asked. This took another three hours or so.

Throughout the Pollards team were pleasant, good-humoured, hard-working, professional and took great care of our possessions. We were delighted with a very smooth, efficient process.

Very understanding about a late date change. Great staff,jolly and helpful, neat and tidy, horoughly recommend.

Massive thanks to Pollards for making the move a lot easier. From meeting Danny at my property on short notice and arranging my move for 5 days later (16th June) I can’t praise them enough. The lads were excellent. Sid, John, Gaz and Harvey are an absolute credit and would like to thank them for the graft they put in on what felt like the hottest day of the year so far, relentless and a good bunch of lads. Again thank you all for everything from Ali, Kelly, Josh and Kacey.

My mum downsized, moving to Uppermill on 23/5 and the service from Pollards was very friendly and professional. Jacob and his colleague who did the move on the day were exceptionally hardworking, polite, positive and resourceful. Moving is very stressful but they helped make it as easy as possible. We would like to thank the crew who moved us on one of the worst days due to the snowy weather. They were a lovely bunch of lads, polite, professional and friendly. This is the second time we have used Pollards and they have been fantastic both times. The first was a short move from Summerseat (Bury) to Bamford (Rochdale) and the second was a move from Bamford to Norfolk with a 2 month storage. On both occasions the loading and unloading team were fantastic. Quick, Clean friendly and willing to go the extra mile. One particular stand out person was Andy who with Harvey unloaded our belongings in Norfolk.

We obtained 4 quotes from removal companies and Pollards was the most sensible by a mile. They were most helpful before the move and we relied on their booklet to ensure we did all the things required before and as we moved. The men who moved us from Yorkshire to Newcastle were extremely efficient both loading and unloading . In Newcastle the seller had left lots of items in the property making moving our things in impossible They helped my family move stufff out so our furniture could be installed safe and sound. Everything was efficiently done with pleasant personal attention for which we are very grateful.

Pollards moved us from one part of Heywood to another. Very efficient and professional. The three young men who moved us were three exeptional young men, Jacob, Harvey and Jack. They worked very hard. We are John and Gill Whatmough.
