We have dealt with Portico for many years. They are now part of a much larger organisation. it is therefor important to have a good contact at the local office. The head of letting Tameen Shahid has been absolutly brilliant dealing with all the queries and paperwork involved in lettings today. Thank you.

I want to write on trust pilot that Portico are faking their own 5-star reviews on Google. I’ll leave this here:

Dear Portico,

I noticed recently that you have been posting fake reviews on Google for your Fulham branch. As an ex-tenant of portico and knowing firsthand the disgusting customer service you provide and the illegal practices (including these reviews) I have reported each one individually to google.

Your guy Esham must be the best letting agent in London if it’s to believed from all the reviews.

I understand you are trying to bury all the negative reviews but posting fake ones is a real low-blow - even for portico. I tried to click on each fake account and they are locked so you couldn’t even do it properly. Good reviews come from hard work and dedicated customer service, not posting 10 positive reviews in the same week.

If I see further fake reviews I will take the necessary steps to report them too.

Eshan at Portico Fulham was super in helping me with my search for a flat to rent. Whilst my offer was delayed for a week due to unforeseen circumstance, he communicated an update three times with how the property was progressing and assuring me that I was still in a good position before then confirming again that I had been successful in securing the flat. I appreciated this immensely in the ongoing chaotic London rental market, and when trying to move into this property in under 4 weeks. Once signing and in the initial days after moving in, he was there to answer any questions I had and was very quick solutions. This could be multiple a day as I wanted to speed things along! Altogether, extremely good experience dealing with Eshan when securing my new tenancy. The use of Leaders Roman combined tech and back office offering is all good as part of the group. Thanks Eshan!

The worst estate agent I've ever dealt with.

They treat anyone who's leaving their properties TERRIBLY and are AWFUL at communication when you're in them.

Everyone at the company seems deeply incompetent and their turnover of staff is second to none. It felt like we got palmed off on a ridiculous amount of people in our time at the property.

"Lacking in communication skills" is a generous term for them. The management and C-Suite need to do something about this company and if they don't, I look forward to their downfall.

No flat or house is worth going through what me and many others have experience with Portico. Please don't make the same mistake we did.

The flat was gross when I moved in with broken furniture. Left me without hot water for a month during the first lockdown. I had a mice infestation for 2 months and they did nothing to fix it. The electricals were outdated and didn't do anything until over a year after we moved in. And a long list.
I moved out a month ago and I am still waiting for the deposit back. And they are charging me the money equivalent to a month's rent, although we have repeatedly proven that all monies have been paid.

Not expecting anything from this review, but I just wanted to share my extreme disappointment. We are waiting, and waiting, and waiting... and nothing is happening. Very keen to seek legal advise if this continues.
