Scammers! They have now changed their name to UK Service Plan and are requesting upfront payment for a new 3-year appliance-insurance policy when the old one was supposed to be valid until 2023.

Scammers - Apex Assure are Premier Protect 365.

These people use a front company called Apex Assure. They cold call telling people their white goods insurance needs re-newing. They even send a Apex Assure headed letter from an address in Hatton Gardens. They would seem to acquire the victims credit card details through sales type skills. They target the elderly.
Premier Protect 365 have their account in Malaga, Spain. This will appear on the victim’s bank statement. They are very convincing.

Thieving scammers

I’ve recently had £495.00 taken from my bank account and am about to let the bank know as it looks as if we’ve been scammed!
I’m embarrassed for my husband who took the call it really looks as if they know everything, when in truth they’re just scammers.

Premier protect steal from vunerable people

My 93 year old father who suffers from dementia and stage 4 cancer was conned out of paying £495 in Nov 2020 and then £300 in Dec 2020 for 3 years insurance on his white goods (all of which are ancient and broken) we contacted Nat West fraud team but have got nowhere. Why are these people able to continue robbing elderly and sick people??

I am one of many - please beware

Clearly I am one of many who have fallen for this scam. I am 80 and yesterday a woman rang saying she was from Domestic & General, and that my insurance for some white goods was about to expire and did I wish to continue. I clearly did, as I believed I was dealing with D & G, but I made the error of giving her my debit card details as she said that the new insurance required them. She said that Premier Protect 365 would be shown as the beneficiary on my bank statement. She also said that the paperwork would be sent to me by email very shortly, and also that a colleague of hers would telephone me to find out how she had done. A few minutes later a man rang saying he was from Apex and he was following up his colleagues earlier call. I told him I had no insurance with Apex, and after saying someone would ring back he put the phone down. Needless to say no-one else rang back and no paperwork arrived.
Fortunately I had the presence of mind (a bit too late of course) to make enquiries today, and after visiting several sites on the internet this morning, I realise, as I had suspected, that I had been scammed. I immediately got onto my bank and cancelled my Visa Debit card before the money had been taken, and I will be reissued with a different card in a few days.
Please beware - the company's tactics are dubious.

Scam preying on the elderly/vulnerable!

Same story as others I am afraid... They have now targeted my elderly mother several times. Also reported to bank and we too were reimbursed.

Please continue to report these unscrupulous people! Something has to be done!

How do we stop this happening??

Exactly the same as all others posted here. They phoned my 79 year old husband while I was at work and persuaded him to pay £395 up front for the next three years' insurance premiums. We are D&G customers and pay monthly by Direct Debit. They had information about the items we have covered with D&G so there has clearly been a data breach. Have contacted Lloyds who say they can do nothing at the moment, also Action Fraud and local trading standards. No waiting to see if any paper work arrives so that I can claim a refund. No contact number, address or email for them at the moment, only the fact that on my bank statement they came up as Premier Protect 365 Malaga ES which is how I found this website.

Criminals, thieves, scammers

These criminals phoned my mother, pretending to be Domestic & General, with whom she has appliance insurance.

They somehow got her card details from her and billed her £199 for a service she didn't need and since then we've heard nothing: no service or correspondence was even provided.

I won't mince my words: these people are criminals and I do not understand why the police and trading standards haven't prosecuted them.

Scam call from Premier Direct

I received a call from Premier Direct last and was quoted a very reasonable price regarding a repair contract for my kitchen appliances. They said they were Domestic Appliances. I gave them my debit card details for a reduced payment of £154 and they said I would get a call in 5 minutes from them to verify payment which I did. Luckily my Bank did not pay this amount out to them as they suspected it was a scam, which it was. Thank goodness.

My 81 year old scammed by Premier Protect 365

My 81 year old dad has just been conned out of ~£200. Premier Protect said they were Domestic and General and offering good deal on cover for extra appliances. He is already with the genuine Domestic and General so fell for it and gave his credit card details. He is the process of reclaiming the money. It’s the same scam as the others already listed.

Premier Protect 365/ Apex Assure - scam preying on the elderly

As many others have reported, scammed £495 from my 88 year old mother who has dementia. Presented as being from D&G with whom she has appliance cover. Paperwork issued in the name of Apex Assure, with money being taken from bank by Premier Protect 365. Reported to bank, who handled as fraud, and reimbursed. Reported to Action Fraud, so now have crime number and ICO, as somewhere there has been a breach of GDPR.

Beware of these scammers

My 99 year old dad has just been conned out of £284. Again saying they were Domestic and General and offering good deal on cover for extra appliances. He is already with the genuine D and G so fell for it and gave his details. Luckily he told my brother and alarm bells sounded. We got the money back by calling bank and speaking to fraud team. Despicable

Scam alert.

I've just come to the conclusion I've been scammed for White goods insurance. Premier Protect 365.They offered 3 year warranty on goods for £300+.
Don't know if I can get my money back from Visa will have to contact the bank.
I have insurance with Domestic and General but was swayed by the half price offer, I feel gutted, at this time with the pandemic they are preying on people.
Feeling stupid.

Aggressive with an 80 year ol

My 80 year old mum got talked into 'protecting' her Sky box by pressure selling on the phone. I managed to get that refunded (took 4 phone calls and 3 months) but they keep ringing my mum back. The last time they were very threatening and said they already had her bank details and were going to take 3 years of costs off her. The man was very aggressive and has been reported to the police - absolute scammers.

Let me believe that they where Domestic…

Let me believe that they where Domestic and General. They told me how much I was paying in Direct Debits and told me what my debit card number was so I believed them and agreed to a 3 year deal. Only when they appeared on my bank statement did I realise I had been duped. Phoned Halifax bank to put a stop on the payment and was told sorry you’ve agreed to pay can’t help you. I’ve asked Premier Direct to pay money back but still waiting. Bank suggested don’t do deals over phone or internet with card as you’ve agreed to pay and they can’t stop the payment.
