Excellent courier partner in an emergency situation.
I had an important document to send from Kaduwela to reach Rajarata University in Mihintale by today (3rd June 2026) before 2pm. Several courier companies refused due to short notice / time constraints. But the Pronto office in Kaduwela saved me the disappointment. The young staff were reluctant to commit but assured me that they will do their best to deliver on time.
I even suggested that I will arrange PickME Flash to pick up the document from their Anuradhapura sorting center by 1pm to meet the deadline given by the university.
To my surprise, I received a message and proof of delivery from Pronto that they had delivery the letter before 12 noon today.
My note of appreciation and a BIG thank you to the young staff who were very helpful and cautiously assured me that they will do their best to deliver on time.
Give the staff an opportunity and they will shine. The office is small and not fancy, but they provided a service which mattered the most.
My advice to readers:
Try to avoid negative reviews publicly, instead first call the manager/ senior officers to settle your grievances.
All problems have to be seen in context. Do not just follow public reviews only. Isolated incidents can happen and will have to be managed for a win-win situation.

Very pathetic service. An important document was posted to me on 18th May, and even by 21st May it has still not been delivered. It is extremely disappointing that after 3 consecutive days the delivery could not be completed. Poor service and lack of reliability when handling important documents.

My order was dispatched on 05.08, and the tracking number is DEF6355. Today is 05.20, and I am deeply concerned about this significant delay. Every time I visit the office to follow up, I am simply told that the package has not arrived yet. This is extremely poor service, and I certainly would not recommend this courier service to anyone."

Bad. Handed over a parcel on 13th and I was promised it will be delivered within 2 days and up to now it hasn't been delivered. When I call them they do not give a varied answer as well. Not trustworthy at all. Regret choosing them

I handed over to your Kirimandalaya branch a package to courrier to Trincomalee on the 21 April. It has not yet arrived. Your hotline or all other numbers listed in the invoice and websites dont work or remain unanswered. What type of service is this? HORRIBLE

It is a bad experience I faced that…
It is a bad experience I faced that this the first time I want to send a good and gave all the details and the good was expected to collect on 29th Aug T25 before 5.30pm and didn't come to collect. I was calling same day for 20 min but no response. Following day when i call it's also a horrible service to wait for a solution more than 20 min and there was no any sender receiver details recorded in the system and I have call in my number that also no record sim and again entering the details for Monday deliver.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Staff don't know how to talk to customers. No professionalism whatsoever! Extremely rude. Extremely difficult to reach them on the phone. The staff tells me that they are not forcing anyone to use their service so why come to them. That's the attitude of the ignorant staff working for this organisation. Just DO NOT USE their services! I'm still waiting for my package to be delivered.

I am complaining about the Kaduwela branch. They did not come on the date they said they would pick up the parcel. And the next one did the same. Also, the Colombo head office does not conduct any investigation into such complaints. And they do not even answer phone calls. A very fraudulent company. This company has no shame in wasting people's time.
Regarding Double Payment for Delivery
I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I experienced with a delivery made on 21st July 2025.
On that day, I delivered a piece of cake and paid Rs. 650/= to the cake owner, which she in turn paid to Pronto.
However, when the delivery was made, the delivery person requested an additional Rs. 500/= from me. I made the payment, but unfortunately, he did not provide any receipt for this transaction. This has resulted in me being charged twice for the same delivery. very bad experience.
