What a tricky little man Phil Gold is. Approached our neighbour before our planning was even granted, sowing the seeds of paranoia that we are illegally building an extension under their noses.
I phoned Phil to question his premature contact with our neighbours and subsequent fear mongering and as expected he jumped on the defensive.
He was rude and arrogant, and surprisingly shrill when confronted.
Sadly our neighbours instructed him before we could even discuss the project and the whole relationship is off to a shaky start.
As people have said he's an ambulance chaser, justifying himself with fake news about all the ignorant people breaking the law and building illegal extensions.
As it turns out our application has been rejected, Phil was waaay too keen to line his pockets. £1300 was his estimate.

what scam artist. He will threaten your neighbours to sign some documents and he will do everything to slow down your project. Avid this rodent at all cost

Philip Gold is rude, unhelpful, lazy and unprofessional. AVOID AVOID AVOID. He does not bother doing his job and will just take your money. A horrible experience all round. Once you sign the contract he will treat you like rubbish. Condescending, patronising, nasty person.

This guy goes by the name of Phil Gold or Phillip Gee. He is a total con artist. He will access your information through public records and then target your neighbours. Currently trading as South East Surveys and PSG. Do NOT give him your money. Has more in common with a leach than a human being. I spoke with the planning department who confirmed they would never recommend a party wall Surveyors even though this is how he tried to paint it when contacting our neighbour. Then he sent us a threatening letter telling us we had to contract him or else.

This is one of those scamming companies that send out letters to unsuspecting neighbouring properties offering party wall services, when its a complete nonsense for a neighbour to issue a party wall agreement! This is the requirement (by law) of the person undertaking the building work, it cannot work the opposite way round..! Please do NOT waste your money?

Avoid. I employed them for a party wall type survey before building work next door. I did not have to pay but for one visit, one email and ignoring others I sent they charged my neighbour £1200 plus vat. Useless

This gentleman cold calls your neighbours and pushes them to sign up for his services. He’s an ‘ambulance chaser’ who looks for his victims (in my case my elderly neighbour) via planning permission portals. He is not registered and will not only cause a dispute with your neighbour but charge you a fortune for it. Avoid at all costs!

Avoid this FRAUDSTER named Philip. He charges high fees for doing no work and has NO QUALIFICATIONS.

Dishonest people they contact my neighbour from harrow council database they lie to them to screw me. these company is so nasty and able to convince neighours to act as if they dont their house could be in dangerous that's lie
You can do party wall with your neighbour without these scam company and is exactly same thing

I was worried after reading the reviews and Philip sent letters to my neighbours to gain their business but after a call with him he came to an agreement and was prompt, reliable and got the job done.

they spend all times searching council building portals , then send out letters to the neighbours informing them that the neighbour will be paying for their bill , NOT even real surveyors and his real name is philip gold, i would bet money that the 5 star reviews are from his friends not real persons whom have dealing this this con man. i found over 10 websites about these con artists,
this is his company address above a Chinese cash and carry just off the A406 on the A5

Thank you PSG for informing me about my neighbours extension and completing my party wall survey so QUICKLY.

Used by our neighbors who were approached by PSG. Charged £1400 when the surveyors on the other side charged half that but the party wall system means we have no choice by to pay. Ambulance chasers. Avoid

PSG services were extremely helpful at talking us through the process when a neighbour had employed them for work. Find them informative and polite

Disgusting, crafty, company!! Sends letters to your neighbours after looking at planning applications telling them to instruct PSG and you will pay, total vultures!! Our neighbours have stated that they felt under pressure to sign, and that it was implied that they needed to go with PSG and not our Party Wall surveyor.
Once we pointed out all the poor reviews which are all over the internet to our neighbour, and the lack of need for an additional surveyor they were devastated they had fallen for this, and immediately asked PSG to cease and not to do any works. PSG then tried to say that we owed them 3 hours for works they had already done at a rate of £180 plus VAT per hour. When we challenged what work they could possibly have done, and asked for a breakdown, they then stated to forget hours, and that to not do the works we owed them £540 plus VAT!! Needless to say we will now postpone our build so that we don't have to give this horrible person a penny of our hard earned money!! The man seems to have no scruples at all!!

PSG surveys were most helpful in guiding us through the Party Wall process, which we knew nothing about. Their advice was informative and offered us a very professional service. We would highly recommend.

I used PSG surveys to do my party wall survey and they were very efficient professional.
Would definitely recommend them.
