Lovely equipment
I have been going to the new one in Coventry Arena. It’s been a lovely experience. Me and my son enjoy going and the equipment is lovely. So glad that this has opened. It’s 24 hours!😌

Dave Personal Training Program
I’ve been training with Dave for a while now, and he is genuinely one of the best PTs I’ve ever worked with. He explains every movement clearly, always checks my form, and adapts the workout to what my body needs that day. His sessions are structured, motivating, and never repetitive.
I really appreciate how understanding he is on the days I don’t feel my best he always finds a way to keep me progressing safely. If you’re looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about your goals, Dave is the one. Highly recommend!

My experience with Dave has been amazing he’s so welcoming and has worked with me to feel comfortable lifting heavy and training on machines alone
His continuous support towards my goals is always encouraging and I would recommend him to anyone - beginners through to experienced

Full of people on machines, on their phones.
Full of people sitting on the equipment looking at their phones. This makes it almost impossible to get on machines most of the time. Staff just let it happen. Massively oversubscribed too. Despite closing the Bishop Street gym and doubling the membership at this one they still consistently advertise for new members. Not enough benches No quiet times. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Unfortunately, we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, however if people are sitting on equipment we would advise approaching a member of staff on the floor who will be able to look into this at the time. We always aim to provide a broad spread of kit to cater to a range of fitness needs and meet demand as it changes through the day, getting the balance right between weights and cardio, but if you have any other/specific suggestions please approach the Gym Manager or leave a note in the feedback box, which is regularly reviewed. The gym is friendly
The gym is friendly. They welcome anyone to the gym. The staff are also friendly and most of them are approachable. The equipment caters for any member that wants to exercise. Noone is forced to exercise. If you need a little pushing, you can join a class. It's a 24 hour gym hence you can visit anytime you want. The only thing that I personally do not like are the stairs. If only they can open the lift. I'm okay coming down. I have heard people talking about the stairs. Other than that, Puregy is the nicest thing that came to Coventry.

It’s honestly not that bad; good range and amount of equipment, overall vibe it nice and there are lots of hidden rooms if u want to workout quietly by yourself

This place has gone down big time this…
This place has gone down big time this morning no water from any taps, massive hole in the men changing rooms and smelt and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months and this is all before they close the PureGym down the road

I can't breathe!
Some people come to the gym and think it's a place where they smell like shit just like them. They smell like shit just like them. The gym is a crowded place and athletes should come looking presentable and smelling good. I hope a sign is placed at the entrance gate that says "Please enter without smelling like shit."
There are no staff around the clock to serve you, when you face problems at the entrance gate for example and you cannot enter, no one will help you and you will go home without any benefit from your coming, this is a terrible thing.

I have been a member of Pure gym Skydome Coventry for many years. However, sadly due to the cleanliness and the time taken to repair equipment I think it’s time to change. Men’s urinals out of order for months, treadmills not working, Sad to leave

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment are fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym.

Barry Johal - The Best PT at PureGym!
I've been training with Barry at PureGym for the past six months and I honestly can't recommend him enough.
When I first started, I was struggling to build strength, I was feeling constantly out of breath and I severely lacked the motivation to come to the Gym. Barry listened to my concerns, tailored a plan to my specific needs, and motivated me every step of the way.
In just six months, I've seen incredible results. I've lost some weight, gained a lot of strength and muscle, and my fitness level has skyrocketed. I no longer feel out of breath and I have more energy throughout the day.
Barry's knowledge, professionalism, and encouraging attitude make him an exceptional personal trainer. He's always prepared for our sessions, provides clear instructions, and pushes me to challenge myself, while making sure I don't injure myself from bad form!
