Overall I enjoy going to pure gym West Bridgford but it could definitely benefit from regular cleaning. But if you want something to do while on the treadmill, I guess you could count the cobwebs on the metal beams by the windows

Unbelievably easy to join
Unbelievably easy to join, even for me and I’m rubbish with computers. Hopefully, when I start the gym, everything will be as smooth. I’m really looking forward to starting. It looked busy when I had a look around, so must be good. Jo (I think his name was) (deputy manager) showed me around and he was informative, welcoming and friendly.

I feel scammed as the site showed I could access my neatest one to work, but after paying the initial amount it shows that I can't use the Nottingham West Bridgford Gym.

The amount of gyms you have access to depends on the rate you pay for the Plus Membership. The gyms are outlined before you join. If a gym is missing, members can add this on however this will alter the rate you pay. For more information we advise reaching out to Member Services who will be happy to advise and assist further.

Very easy joining experience
Very easy joining experience. Not sure why other gyms aren't like this.
Had an issue with access through the external door to the gym but once inside bar code worked fine for access and exit

Okay
I enjoyed how easy it is to get inside and start your workout. However, the layout was a little confusing as weights and cardio machines were randomly placed around the gym. I forgot to bring a water bottle and couldn't believe how expensive water was in the vending machine.

We always advise that new members have an induction to ensure they are familiar with the layout of the gym and understand how to use the different pieces of equipment.
Inductions are usually placed on the class time table. You can also get in touch with the Gym Manager via email, and an induction can be arranged for a specific date and time. Alternatively, members are able to speak to the staff in the gym (if they are not on the gym floor, please feel free to knock on the staff room door) and have an induction. Thanks, PureGym.

Stephan is an excellent manager who provided a free blood pressure check. The gym is always clean and I highly recommend west bridgford in Nottingham.

Great gym and very friendly and clean
Great gym and very friendly and clean. How ever it does lack leg equipment and is usually a wait to get on the ONE leg extension or leg curl machine or leg press! Not great. And if something is broken it does take a long time to get fixed. For example the hand dryer in ladies changing room has been out of order now for 5 weeks and is -5 outside.

Lovely workout space!
Signed up through my Vitality life insurance. The West Bridgford branch is clean, friendly and a nice space to workout.
Have used a couple of other sites when around the country. Like the fact I can keep working out even when away from home comforts.

Disappointing
I like the available equipment and facilities. However, I do not like the lack of help for a new member. You sent me two emails telling me that I could have 2 sessions with a personal trainer for £50, but when I tried to arrange this I was told it was an old offer and not available. Consequently, I can only make minimal use of the gym and I can’t make good (or safe) use of my membership. I am very disappointed.
