Missing codes sent after public outcry—hope the system stays stable
SUMMARY & UPDATE: I am updating this to 3 stars because, apparently, a public review is the ultimate performance mod. 24 hours after posting this, the studio miraculously pushed out the missing codes to everyone caught up in the backlog—with some waiting months—and my Discord ban was lifted. While the initial customer service was a total car crash, they did ultimately get the immediate code delivery issue resolved. I am willing to raise this rating further in the future if the delivery system remains stable and does not stall again.
What Happened:
I purchased a bulk vRP pack through the official RaceRoom store, but the automated system completely stalled and no redeemable code was delivered. When looking for answers, I discovered a massive pile-up: dozens of paying customers were experiencing the exact same store failure, with some even being sent codes that were already used. Meanwhile, their official support email went completely dark, and management left the storefront wide open like a hazardous track with no yellow flags.
When I asked about this in their official Discord support channel, the moderation staff completely failed to take accountability. Instead of addressing the store failure, a staff member decided to power-trip and threatened me by saying, "one more and its a timeout." The moment I mentioned escalating this to Trustpilot, they immediately slapped me with a 6-day ban. Banning paying customers to cover up a broken storefront was entirely uncalled for.
