What gave us the best experience of all was dealing with our booker, Sammi. Planning our first vacation with Amtrak, we had absolutely no idea how to start scheduling our route. There was an overwhelming amount of information on the website, but Sammi was able to break it down into bite sized pieces. She was able to answer all our questions patiently and clearly, and made suggestions along the way. We started with a preplanned tour from the website, and she customized it for us, seamlessly, by modifying the number of destinations, accommodations, and scheduling, according to our desires. In addition, she was able to give us the dates that we requested, while working within our budget. It was great to work with her. She was knowledgeable, professional, and never lost her sense of humor when dealing while doing her job. This review cannot express how grateful we were for working with Sammi. Thank you Sammi.

Our "Alaskan Adventure 50th Anniversary" trip in August, 2025, was beyond belief! Our Railbookers Agent, Kelli L did a fantastic job at listening to our desires and goals, adding some thoughts, while keeping us informed.
Detailed information was supplied, and NO vouchers needed, just go to the check-in desk/counter! All aspects of our 6 night journey was flawless, which made our Alaskan Adventure certainly an awesome experience filled with beautiful memories!

Due to a strike in Italy
Due to a strike in Italy, our train needed to be modified. I was notified by phone of the new times and just needed to obtain my vouchers. Being the weekend, I called (since I made arrangements through a travel agent) Railbookers for the voucher. She emailed directly to me, waited for verification of receipt and answered all my questions, fast and friendly.

Sale OK but Followup customer service non-existent.
I booked a round trip from UK through France, and Switzerland to Italy where we were to join the Orient express. Sales person was excellent and very helpful.
When itinerary arrived, I thought something was missing. Sent an email from inside their webpage and was promised a response within 24 hours.
17 days later and not a word despite at least one reminder. Seems that getting the business is well catered for but customer service post sale lets them down badly.

Aristotle built us a perfect itinerary for our trip. He listened to our preferences for hotels during our trip, such as, how far is it from the train station or wanting a mid-range hotel in the best tourist areas.
