Habe schon mehrmals bestellt. Kleine Stückzahlen sind relativ teuer, ab 100 Samen bzw. 1000 wird es günstig.
Meist dauert es ein paar Wochen bis verschickt wird, das halt ich nicht für problematisch, wenn man es weiß, dass es länger dauern wird, kann aber beim ersten Mal etwas an den Nerven nagen.
Bei jeder Lieferung waren ca. 10 % kaputt. Wenn von 1000 Samen kein einziger keimt, dann hat man auch valide Ergebnisse. Bei 10 Samen kann man meist nicht sagen, ob es an der Aussaatmethode oder an den Samen liegt.
Ich habe nicht reklamiert, aber darauf hingewiesen, dass auch Totalausfälle dabei waren, hier wurde mir ungefragt Ersatz mitgeschickt. Was mich natürlich gefreut hat. Die Kommunikation hat gepasst, habe immer einer Antwort bekommen.

Ich werde auch in Zukunft wieder kaufen.

Ich habe im Januar 3 Sorten Palmensamen bestellt. Es kamen 46 Stück. Deutlich mehr als bestellt. Nicht einer ist gekeimt, obwohl überall steht diese Sorten keimen schnell und zuverlässig. Aus dem Urlaub mitgebrachte Samen keimten unter den gleichen Bedingungen alle (!)
Zur Antwort bekam ich am 29.09.2022: Bei meiner nächsten Bestellung würden sie ein paar Samen zusätzlich schicken.

After being asked to get a USDA permit (which I did) for a seed shipment to Hawaii, USA, order was shipped within a couple weeks. Waited a month after the parcel arrived in NYC for the package to arrive...USPS to blame? No, I found an empty package with an intercept and destroy notification from the USDA...permit notwithstanding, Rare Palm Seeds did not provide the correct information for USDA review (nor my permit apparently) within the shipment, so 132 Euros down the tubes. So far, no response to multiple emails. 6 weeks of waiting for an empty package. This entity is terrible, caveat emptor.

Meine Bestellung wurde zwwi Wochen lang nicht bearbeitet. Keine Info vom Kundenservice. Erst nach drei Nachfragen, kam eine Antwort. Bei meiner Stornoanfrage, hieß es, es sei eine Wiedereinalgerungsgebühr i.H.v. 35€ fällig. Irgendwann kamen die Samen, aber völlig unzureichend verpackt und kaputt. Zwei der drei bestellten Astrophytum Samen waren zerdrückt. Das unversehrtere Tütchen wies die völlig falschen Samen auf. Absichtliche Täuschung?
Die Reklamation verlief natürlich mühsam, ich musste mehrere Mails schreiben, bis irgendwann reagiert wurde und ich das Geld zurück erhalten habe. Ich rate dringend davon ab, hier zu bestellen.

Why?

It took three and a half months for my seeds to arrive. A quarter of an entire year!

Then when it did, it was all good right? No, not at all. I wouldn't be here if thats all that it was.

With no notice, zero contact of any sort, they changed my order and sent me different seeds without my consent. Very expensive and unique seeds too. I paid AUD$95.00 for 5 seeds (!!!!!), almost half the value of the entire order, and of course those were the ones they just swapped out. They instead sent me some other genuinely worthless garbage plant that is completely different in every way to the plant I ordered. The seeds I wanted are still in stock on their website so they just didnt want to send me what I paid for apparently, so they completely scammed on that one.

Damn. Can't get much worse than that ey. Oh, but it can...

I also bought a "wholesale" pack of 100 seeds. And so they sent a pack that said "100" on it. But how many of those 100 did they actually send? 13. They sent me 13 seeds out of that 100. Thats 13% of what a paid for! Or in other words, they stole 87% of my money on those seeds. I suppose its slightly better than 99% loss on the other ones they swapped out Sigh.

And the cherry on top?

Literal non-existant customer service once they have your money. I have a had zero replies to over 10 emails over many weeks. My money is officially gone it would seem.

Long story short, of a AUD$200.00+ order, they sent me half the value of that, and I waited a quarter of a year for the pleasure.

Never again!

Do not buy seeds from these scammers if you have been smart enough to research first.

teilweise schlecht bis gar nicht gereinigtes Saatgut. Auf Reklamation wird lapidar ausgewichen. Für mich ausschlaggebend- hoher Preis = hohe Qualität. Hier stimmt das Verhältnis leider nicht. Bei Zanthoxylum wurden Fruchtstände geliefert die nur schlecht bis gar nicht gereinigt werden konnten. Das sollte Aufgabe des Verkäufers der hohe Preise verlangt sein

I bought many melastomataceae seeds for 120 euros 1 year ago. And 99.99% did not germinate at all.
They sell old seeds. Normally I'm great at germinating but from their seeds almost none germinated at all.
Horrible. They most likely knowingly sell very old seeds that will never germinate. I've heard this many times.
DO NOT BUY HERE. Horrible scammers.

On top of that they posponed the order for weeks I had to call and email 5+ times after already paying.
Terrible terrible.

They are NOT to be trusted, seem to a china company with no references and operations location.

Les graines vendues sont pour la plupart bien trop vieilles, pas fraiches du tout. N'espérez pas faire des semis !
Quant aux espèces proposées, ils ne semblent pas être capables de les vérifier....
Les délais d'expéditions sont TRES LONGS voire à la limite de la légalité.
Frais de port abusifs.
Personne ne répond aux mails, service client = 0.
Ce site est de la poudre aux yeux, vous feriez mieux de passer votre chemin. A bon entendeur.

Good:
- I received the seeds and spores I ordered
- some of them germinated well

Bad:
- very long waiting time and not much information
- no response to emails
- at least 50% of the seeds I bought were completely dead

Meine Bestellung wurde um ein Monat zu spät versandt und so schleißig verpackt das eine Samensorte bei der Ankunft bereits schimmelte. Die anderen Samensorten waren augenscheinlich mit Fremdkörpern und anderem Saatgut verschmutzt sodass es eigentlich völlig unbrauchbar war. Nach einem mehrtägigem Kampf jemanden zu erreichen (sowohl per Telefon als auch per e-mail) wurde mir gesagt das Sie das zuerst mit dem Chef abklären müsste und das ich eine Rückmeldung bekomme. Tage später erhielt ich die Rückmeldung das es mein Fehler sei weil ich für eine korrekte Lagerung des Saatgutes verantwortlich bin. Bezüglich des verschmutzen Saatgutes erhielt ich keine Rückmeldung. Eine Erstattung war bis heute ebenfalls Fehlanzeige. Alles in allem leider ein furchtbarer Service in jeder Hinsicht.

Let me start by saying something positive about this company. So far, I've been relatively successful at germinating most of the seeds I ordered on that webpage, which suggests that their seeds are relatively fresh. Plus they have a very large selection of seeds and recently nicely updated their webpage making it much more user friendly than it used to be.
Let me continue by saying something negative. This is the absolute last time I order seeds from that company. Their customer service is below garbage. Seeds I ordered in March 2021 as a gift to my mother, not only arrived weeks after I placed the order (from Germany, where the store is located, to Switzerland, a neighboring country, it was only supposed to take up to 2 weeks, but took over 6 weeks, and only because I contacted them) but they changed the order without contacting me. They replaced the Adansonia grandieri seeds (EU only) with Adansonia perrieri seeds, under the pretext that the grandidieri cannot be shipped to the USA (which is my payment address as I live here), while the shipping address was Switzerland all along. Moreover, the perrieri seeds ($8.55) are much cheaper than the grandidieri ones ($17.35). I was ready to let that slide had they corrected their mistake, so I contacted them 3 times (per email at 'mail' at 'rarepalmseeds' dot 'com') over the course of a month, giving them plenty of time to answer. They just ignored every single message. Finally, after contacting them through their contact form on their webpage I receive a dry answer saying that they cannot ship the grandidieri seeds to the USA. Once more, the shipping address was Switzerland all along and when I mentioned that in my answer, still they completely ignored me. Today was my last message to them (unless they answer in the next 3 days) before initiating legal procedures and contacting the german better business bureau to lodge a complaint.
I encourage every one that had issues with them to do the same. Google 'verbraucherzentrale' dot 'de' and click under 'beschwerde'.

In general seeds are good quality. But I ordered tree fern spores once and they were all dead.
Apart from that my main issue is that they can be very slow to ship (it took on month for them to ship my last small order to the UK) without any information and they never reply to emails.

First Time I bought from them ( wholesale) some seeds arrived crashed other smelling of mold. Germination rate very low

Die anfängliche Begeisterung hat relativ schnell ins Negative umgeschlagen. Ich habe z.B. Saatgut für über 70 Euro (10 Stück!) einer seltenen Palmensorte bestellt. Erhalten habe ich zwar 10 Stück wovon aber bereits 4 Stück vergammelt waren (schwarze, stinkende, bröselige Masse), der Rest keimt bis jetzt nicht. Ein Anruf am nächsten Tag endete stets immer im Anrufbeantworter, Emails werden generell nicht beantwortet. Ich kann nur abraten dort zu kaufen. Das Saatgut scheint uralt zu sein und die Person welche das Saatgut verpackt muss entweder blind und ahnungslos sein oder bewusst in Kauf nehmen das hier reinster Müll versendet wird. FINGER WEG!!

Took nearly 2 months for this company to send the seeds out after countless ignored emails and website messages sent. Best thing (irony alert) was when the seeds did arrive they were completely unfit for purpose as not one of them actually germinated or grew or developed even a tiny shoot.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. You have been warned.

The only reason they get 3 stars is because they I did receive my full order, tagged, each in a plastic bag. I live in the USA, it took over 2 months to receive my very large order. It has to be large because they will not bother with small orders. Which in my case I had been wanting to buy a few different seeds, they were usually out so I took advantage of ordering 11 different varieties. But once they got the money , forget it. First off, after the seeds were shipped at the end of June ( just got them in the second week of September ) My entire order was not visiable in my account. Meaning that I could not reference what I bought for the future orders ( not going to happen ) or to check against. All that remained was the order number. I was sent a tracking number for dhl and I was sent a full invoice. After dhl delivered it to somewhere in germany I got a new tracking for the USPS, well let me tell you , they were worst then all of it put together. My tracking stayed the same and for over 2 months and had them trace the stupid package 4 times with little or no response. Finally they sent a a notification that the package had been delivered ... and it was ! could not believe it. It took for ever for them to acknowledge the wiring of my money, which was an added cost. Sadly , after all this I found another site here in the states with mostly the same stock. Bottom line is , no matter how fabulous these foreign sites are with the exception of bulb growers in Holland , keep the money home, buy USA and make sure its not a front like Green Seed Gardens which is really a front for china but states that they are in Minden , Nevada! !!! nope did not buy!

Eine Bestellung vom 06.05.2020 wurde erst nach mehrfachem Nerven geliefert, dies aber dann unvollständig - die Samen, die angekommen sind, hatte ich nur als Füllsel bestellt, damit ich den Mindestumsatz erreiche, was heutzutage ja auch schon ein Unding ist, dem Käufer vorzuschreiben, wieviel er auszugeben hat, damit er Ware bekommt...
Wenn diese dann noch ankommt, würde ich ja nichts sagen, aber in diesem Fall ist es eine Frechheit.
Der Verkäufer hat auf Nachfrage überhaupt nicht mehr reagiert und ich habe die Ware bis heute (14.07.2020) nicht vollständig erhalten.
