I initially left a rave review for my experience purchasing a mattress and bedroom furniture. Two months later, I can say I will never purchase from Raymour & Flanigan again.
My mattress delivery turned into over a month-long ordeal with five, yes five, delivery cancellations. After repeated delays, a manager eventually offered an alternative mattress at no additional cost—more expensive than the one I originally ordered, which was appreciated—but still not the mattress I had selected. It was also said to be available in Connecticut and eligible for delivery. However, on the fifth delivery attempt, after waiting over two hours beyond the provided delivery window and being told the crew may not arrive due to staffing issues, the mattress finally arrived at the last minute.
Separately, I purchased the Kylie bedroom set but had to cancel due to an unexpected change in my living situation, as the furniture would no longer fit. Since then, I have experienced ongoing issues resolving my refund and addressing a lingering balance on my credit account that should not exist. This reflects a pattern of issues, including repeated delivery delays, mixed credits, unclear accounting, multiple calls without follow-up, and now a lingering balance that should not exist.
Despite multiple calls to customer service and three separate attempts to resolve the issue, I have received no meaningful follow-up. I was ultimately forced to request an email address for a customer service manager, which I used to escalate the issue directly, and I am still awaiting a response.
This entire experience has been disorganized, inconsistent, and extremely frustrating. Mistakes and changes happen, but this level of breakdown across multiple steps of the process is beyond frustrating. It is unacceptable at every level of the process.

We ordered a bedroom set that was a custom order. We waited many months for it. When it was delivered the top to one of the night stands was not even connected to the base. The piece was taken and we still have not received a call to let us know what is gong on,, Not acceptable. Item was not assembled when delivered. It did not state this in the order otherwise I wouldn’t have purchased it since the cost of the item was expensive to begin with.
Update-I emailed their customer service department twice with no response.
Wonderful Experience!
Disappointing experience. Salesperson did not listen to my needs and put me in a $5000 king adjustable bed. I was looking for a full-size. Then she tried to sell me an extra-long twin (I'm 5 ' tall) as that bed did not come in full-size. I was reluctantly considering it because I really like the bed. At the sales office, she consulted with another salesperson who said she could take $200 off the price of the base. The catch was I had to put a $100 deposit down then and there to hold the price until the day before Thanksgiving. That's when I knew I was being tricked all the way. On top of that, the salesperson clearly did not want to be doing her job and made it known with several sighs and interruptions throughout the encounter. She needed additional information and asked me to walk with her back to the bedding department. I have a serious illness which limits my activity and I told her so. She didn't like the fact that she would have to look it up on her tablet at the sales area. To put it bluntly, I won't be back, nor will I recommend this store to any friends. The store itself is lovely. This one staff member is not.
UPDATE: I decided to give the company another chance, and went to their Warwick, RI Outlet Store today. What a totally different experience! I met with an absolutely delightful salesman, Adam, who was fantastic! He took his time and explained to me the options I had considering the type of bed I was looking for. I wound up purchasing a bed and adjustable base from him and I can't wait to get it. I highly recommend this location. And don't forget to ask for Adam!
My salesperson
My salesperson, Ally Guzman, Warwick,RI store, is amazing. I purchased 2 living room sets. One is a floor sample but, brand new. Ally Guzman was able to get both sets delivered to my house in less than a week. Ally made the whole experience streamlined and red carpet. I will buy more furniture from Ally and Raymour and Flanigan.

He was very courteous and invested in helping us find the right fit of various things for our home. He was not pushy and took the time to answer all of our questions. Izzy Fernandez met us at the door and walked us through adjustable beds. He was very patient as we tried multiple options.
