Asking for your MBTI on a job…

Asking for your MBTI on a job application, And then having the audacity to refuse certifications or Associates degree as legitimate education history.
I am also not going out of my way to pay for a transcript of my college degree over 10 years since the fact.

Do not waste time with companies that appear to be ran by high school children.

This company seems fake

This company seems fake. I had to do an evaluation test. The questions were ridiculously easy - like suspiciously so... However, the last question was to draw a box around a group of objects. I tried using my mobile device and the test was definitely made for PC users, as the test was extremely glitchy for a tech company. I couldn't even answer the last question because, well again, I was using my phone and there was no option to draw anything. I received 85.5% (24 out of 25 questions correct), which is a pass... isn't it? Apparently not! So I attempted the test on a PC. Got questions very similar to the first set. Then the last question had the same instructions but different objects. I got the same results as my first test, even though I completed the last question as per instructions. How was I supposed to know each object was supposed to have its own box with a tag and grouped? The instructions never said anything about that. And again, my score was 85.5%, which, in most cases, means you've passed. Right? It's just out right bogus and seems like a scam. Probably designed to take info and sell it to third parties.

Absurd assessment, inconsistent scoring, instant ban — and support that never replies

I found rex.zone through LinkedIn because they post a lot of roles for math experts, so I assumed the screening would be reasonably aligned with actual math/AI work. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite.

The entry assessment started with about 20 questions that were honestly not difficult. I went through them normally and didn’t expect any issue. Then the very last question suddenly turned into something completely different: an image of several strawberries and a single vague line telling me to “put strawberries inside a frame.” That was the entire instruction — no example, no clarification, nothing about what “correct” means. I was genuinely confused about what they wanted: one frame around the whole group of strawberries, or separate frames for each strawberry. I chose the second interpretation and framed each strawberry individually.

On top of the ambiguity, the interface on that strawberry page was not straightforward. There were multiple tabs and dropdown menus, and it wasn’t obvious which tool actually lets you draw or place a frame. I had to click around and experiment just to find the right tab/tool. That kind of “figure it out yourself” UI puzzle might be fine for a design test, but it felt completely out of place for evaluating a math expert.

After I submitted, the platform told me I got 2 questions wrong and showed a final score of 74.19/100. That makes no sense. Two wrong out of 21 questions does not naturally translate to 74.19 unless the last question was weighted massively — and if it was, why would the most heavily weighted item be an unclear strawberry framing task that has nothing to do with math expertise? The system also immediately marked me as Failed / Not Approved and banned me from further eligibility, as if I had done something wrong rather than simply encountering an unclear prompt.

What made it worse is the complete lack of support. I emailed them multiple times, politely asking for clarification on (1) how the score is calculated, (2) what the correct expectation was for the strawberry question, and (3) whether a manual review is possible. No response. Just silence.

Overall, this felt disrespectful and careless: a confusing “gotcha” final question, a score that doesn’t match the stated breakdown, a permanent rejection over something unrelated to the role, and a support team that doesn’t reply at all. I would not recommend rex.zone based on this experience, especially to qualified experts who value transparent evaluation and basic communication.

Would I recommend this company? No.

Very sketchy website

Very sketchy website, exams are too simple (even a child could pass them). They collect a lot of extra data from you (things like university diploma) which other data annotation websites don't ask for. After you do your ID verification checks, they ask you to install a "security" extension. This was the last straw, they are clearly cloning your personal data to attempt Identification theft (by opening bank accounts in your name, etc). Stay away from this.

Passed onboarding but no work or communication for months

I registered on RemoExperts, completed their exams, and successfully passed the verification process. After that, I even received an email asking me to activate my work email, which I did immediately.

However, it has now been over two months, and I have not been onboarded or given any tasks. There has also been no clear communication or update regarding my status.

The process initially seemed promising, but the lack of follow-up after completing all the required steps has been disappointing. It would be helpful if RemoExperts improved their communication and onboarding transparency, especially for applicants who have already passed their assessments.

At the moment, the experience feels uncertain and unstructured, and I hope they address this so future applicants know what to expect.

They rejected my persona ID validation…

They rejected my persona ID validation so I went ahead and sent an email to the only one available on their website asking for assistance.

It has been a month now and they still haven't gotten back to me. I requested that my account be deleted at this point and they STILL haven't gotten back to me about that either!

They then sent me an email a day ago stating that my account was approved (????) and that I needed to validate my identity (??????).

I go ahead and log in and of course....it still says persona rejected my ID and I am still unable to re-do the validation despite reporting this issue to them a month ago.
This company will ghost you and is not respecting deletion requests which is against the law in multiple states. Don't even bother with this company.

At first everything looks good until they ghost you !

In November when I did the assessment ( which had a 100 $ qualification compensation ) I got accepted to the platform. I did the identity verification through Persona, I was verified after 2 min, I never heard back from them ! I e-mailed 3 times .. Not a single response.
In fact they don't have any verifiable information on their website.

They use a "SECURITY MEASUREMENT" to verify users identity through a Chrome extension, which doesn't take a rocket scientist to just decompile and see it sends your device information to a Chinese IP address ! STAY AWAY
