I recently used Road Mate UK for an emergency tyre replacement on a Sunday afternoon, and I was thoroughly impressed with their service. Despite it being a weekend, they arrived within 90 minutes and had my tyre replaced in just 15 minutes. The technician was efficient and professional, and the pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quick response and the convenience of having the job done on a Sunday. Was a little late getting to me but updated me every ten mins (30mins later than said) 2 tyres washed out after cracking a curb avoiding some donut. Repair was done quickly, bloke was sound. Top stuff!

Had flat tyre at work. Came pretty quickly at work and didn't take them long when arrived.

Great experience with these guys after a stressful tyre blow out this morning! I messaged them on WhatsApp and got an instant reply. They had someone out to me within the hour, the fitter was professional and polite and I was back on the road quickly!

If I could give this company 0 I would. AVOID. Aggressive rude fitter. Wanted paying direct in to personal account. Very threatening. Turned up to take tyre back. No payment link sent from Road Mate, for a couple of hours, during that time fitter was getting more and more aggressive and threatening. Still no official invoice after 4 days and multiple requests. All fitters are contractors.

Arrived in 30 minutes after calling! Super helpful and efficient. Made a stressful situation very calm.

Got a flat tyre and rang this company, they assured me they'd have someone out to help, within 30-45 minutes. 4 hours later I was still waiting, they were happy to take my deposit but after an hour they would no longer take my calls and completely ignored me. When the tyre fitter finally got in touch it turned out they'd been given the wrong address and the wrong tyre size. Roadmate are incompetent, misleading and totally unprofessional.

It’s the second time they rescued me when I got stranded. This time in Coventry and on Sunday evening (was not putting my hopes high… however…) Very quick response and I was back on the road with a new tyre 1 hour later. The guy even shared his location so I could track his progress. Excellent emergency service! 🛞 🚨

I was worried about trying to get a flat tyre replaced on a Sunday as had a busy day planned and needed it for work and nursery drop off the next day! Local Kwikfit could only do it on Monday. Found Road Mate and messaged on WhatsApp at 830am. Within the hour, I had a new tyre fitted! So grateful for the quick and honest service. Thank you!

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Cost £210 for a basic new tyre, that took 3 hrs to be fitted.

Took £60 fee to book the relevant new tyre in, informed me that it would be 1 - 1.25hrs, this turned into 2hrs then 2.5 and then 3 hrs!!!

Very rude man on the phone who put the phone down on me when I was ringing to check what was going on!!

Unprofessional, poor communication and a nasty and rude man taking their calls.

Called 5pm, their website says 45-60 minutes. They didn't arrive until 9.45pm!

I actually thought it was a scam. When the driver finally turned up 4 hours and 45 minutes later, he said he had only just been given the job and was 40 minutes away!!! Call centre kept giving loads of excuses none of which were true. They had an argument with the driver about whose responsibility it was to phone me while I was on the phone to them. I would only use a local company with whom I had direct contact with next time.

They told me 40-55 minutes, but it ended up being 2 hours because the driver was ages away when he called me. They should actually communicate with the drivers before advising on timescales like that. Otherwise, the mechanic was quick and had everything that was needed to replace my tyre.

Poor communication, they state that they can get support out to you within an hour and ended up taking 4 hours. Misquoted the cost, didn't communicate with the company that ended up changing out tyre so paid more than the initial quote and then was gaslit by Sarah who asked my why I paid that much knowing full well I had been stranded in the middle of the road for the last 4 hours. Would not recommend AT ALL.
