I recently had the opportunity to attend Russ’s Newborn Photography Workshop in Dubai and I’m so amazed at the process he lead us through the entire workshop. He is one of the best photography educators I have come across.
He has not only taught me an entire different avenue in photography but also techniques that have opened my insight into this craft. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from Russ and I can definitely say what he offers is a value packed education that Is unique from other workshops I have ever attended.

I attended Russ’s Newborn Photography workshop in Dubai and it was a wonderful learning experience. His simple, easy-to-understand style and guidance along with recommendations to better your angle really helped. He was patient in explaining lighting and posing. I really wish he was the first workshops I had taken when I started off as he demystified and simplified newborn photography. Please do an in-person workshop if you get a chance!

After watching some of Russ' online courses (I highly reccomend the Maternity course!) I decided to go all in and booked a two day Mentoring with him.
I travelled all the way from switzerland to meet Russ at his Studio in London. This was the best decision I've ever made! He helped me so much in understanding my value, he geve me honest feedback on my images and we had two Newborn Models and one Maternity Model to shoot. I learned so much in this two days!

Russ delivered more than I expected. I learnt more from his 1 day workshop than my entire 4 months of photography study. As a photographer-in-training his training, advice and support has been invaluable. Highly recommend!

My brief for my 1:1 mentoring with Russ was for more advanced Fashion style, maternity portraiture with the added difficultly of working in a tiny converted garage studio. Russ nailed it and really listened to every aspect of my brief and really tailored the training to my needs. Russ has a really easy style of training and answers any question you need to know. The day was fun and I learnt a lot even though I have been working for 10 years in this industry. The editing techniques have been a game changer for me. Thank you Russ.

I have taken several online classes with Russ, one in-person class in Oslo and latest two online consultations to have Russ take a look at my work and give me feedback and advices on how to improve my lighting, posing, shooting and editing. I can highly recommend Russ both as a teacher and mentor.

I attended a new born photo shoot with my week old son and Russ was incredible. He explained everything, put me at ease, was so knowledgable about newborn handling and care and made me feel totally safe and relax. He gave me loads of tips about understanding newborns and was so patient to get the right shots. I’m so excited to see the final pictures and thank you Russ so so much

Russ and his wife made me feel very welcome at the Maternity photography training session today. The training day is a good long day filled with models and hands-on training that I personally found very valuable.
Russ is not only a very talented photographer he is a nice guy and excellent teacher who enjoys teaching.
He is very down to earth and happy to help others along their photography journey this is very important as he is a good role model in the photography community.
I came away feeling motivated and fired up ready to make some changes to my own style and sessions. It's worth every bit of money so I highly recommend any training with him! Hopefully see you again soon! Natalia

Fabulous!!! Russ is brilliant at what he does and he passes all of this onto his students, He delivers everything in a way that is easy to follow and understand and holds nothing back, explaining everything that you want to know...….. Well worth the investment!!!!

I'be attended two workshops with Russ now and would recommend him to any newborn photographer no matter what stage of the journey they are at. Russ is clearly and expert in his field but also such a warm and friendly mentor , always on hand to offer support and advice even beyond his workshops. I'm very grateful to him.

I found that attending his training in person has enlightened my understanding grate deal. He's very calm and explaining very clearly at every steps. As well as he has so much valuable business advises to offer too. Plus his studio is so lovely and comfortable with generous hospitality and service, you'll coming away feeling the whole experience is truly worthwhile.
