I went to the Ingate Battersea store. They were BRILLIANT 🤩 extremely professional competent able pleasant engaging. They had mastery of the storage business. The storage areas are very secure. The locked units are only accessed through a security gate. It felt so secure I asked the lovely kind gentleman who showed us around - what if I get locked in? Not in my actual unit but behind the gated entry & he explained that the systems were secure but there are also phones & cameras everywhere. They offered us a very competitive price.
Unfortunately the property I was hoping to move into in Battersea became unavailable & the new address is too far from the Battersea store. This is the only reason I didn’t use them.
I was surprised today when I visited Yellow storage that the lady that saw me was really disparaging about safe store in that she said it lacked sufficient security; I disputed this. I said I felt it was very secure & there were cameras everywhere. She was adamant & despite my friend telling her to please move on & give us a price she wasn’t able to & had to come back again to insist that safestore cameras were unmanned & after hours yellow storage had external security monitoring their cameras as well as in hours but safestore did not have this, she was sure she used to work there. This tirade against safe store by an alleged former employee surprised me because I really loved safe store. It was safe the staff were professional they knew we had gone to other stores & we told them the quotes, they didn’t put anyone down. They just presented themselves in an excellent light, I 100% recommend safe store Battersea Ingate. Staff is excellent & professional & they care about you.

Horrible customer service, guy basicly was taking a laugh from me becouse i was overdue with my payments. U know that aproach when security are checking your bags when u are a customer and leaving a shop with our shoping paid off and receip in the pocket. Like a policeman. He comes up like how u gonna ask for a refund when u barrely manage to pay our storage. I can bet his sallary is 1700£ a month and he is happy. To be honest a Big Yellow is 5 star.
