Hotel Sahara in Las Vegas lacking service!

Hotel Sahara in Las Vegas is very standard even though it is newly renovated.
Their gym facilities is quite bad and the service on check out was non existing! I have tried to get in contact with the hotel for 10 days, since my invoice newer showed up as promised. No reply for 10 days!
My suitcase was delayed from KLM. The hotel did not notice me on arrival or delivered it at my room.

The check-in time was set for 4 PM

The check-in time was set for 4 PM, but I was charged $25 for checking in just 45 minutes early. Additionally, I was expecting a room with a good view as advertised, but instead got a room with an unappealing view. When I complained, I was told that I'd have to pay an extra $25 per night to move to a slightly better room, but even then, the view was disappointing. To add to my frustrations, they didn't clean my room for the entire 3 days I was there.

Nice hotel in the renovated parts of…

Nice hotel in the renovated parts of the hotel. Near the monorail and cheap buses just outside to get to Downtown Freemont.

Deducted a point because of their report fee scam, the price you see is not what you pay add $52 per night to stay....Sooner this scam pricing finishes the better.
A lazy response will say they are doing what everybody else does. You know what do the right thing and gain credit for it...

So bad service

So bad service, ordered double room with a double bed, get to the place they state no available room as requested but you can change room tomorrow. the next day I go down to reception in the morning and ask if they still had no room, they have refunded part of the payment, but this does not mean that they have things under control. the day after at 00 pm go to reception and ask for the new room and get a map etc. want to go in to take a shower no water, call them they don't pick up the phone my husband goes down to them but nothing helps. will strongly discourage people from booking this hotel. the rooms themselves are old and worn do not match the pictures

Poor service in parts of the hotel

Tried to use the swimming pools, resident only full of kids not being supervised, signs stating no staff or life guards, self supervision, stopped from taking water to the pool, 40 heat, but no one at the bar to serve you.. went to the main party pool, not allowing in no ID for over 21, I am 66 maybe it a ageism thing, didn’t want to go all the way back to my room for my passport to prove I was over21 ,

Average stay

Stayed at Sahara for a conference because it was cheaper than other hotels ... for reasons:

1. The hotel is located at the end of the strip, which means it can get a little quiet at night. We ubered everywhere so that was okay, but it can be quite of a walking distance from everything else.

2. The wifi SUCKS. We complained to the front desk but nothing happened and we were literally down for a week and couldn't work at all. I burst my phone bill because I had to use my data, which is horrible.

Otherwise, love the casino and the staff is all polite and nice. The bets start at $15 as well, so much friendlier than most casinos around the area.

For the price, I'd still recommend the hotel if you are not looking for anything spectacular. If it's for a special occasion, I'd suggest looking other options.

Had to use same towels for 3 days

Had to use same towels for 3 days. Guest svcs never answered phone. Finally found couple maids and got bath towels but no hand towels. Was told to call front desk where no one answers. After over 20 min of waiting for elevator on 27th floor finally gave up and walked down 27 flights. Using only 2 of 6 elevators. Elevators were always full when they opened at our floor. Complained at front desk and told they were removing resort fees but did not. At checkout had quite a discussion about what we had been told and they did credit two days resort fees. Hotel itself was very nice as was the staff except at
Checkout.

Very disappointed

Good Day,

My wife and I stayed at the Sahara when we came to Vegas 10/14/20-10/16/20. And we were beyond disappointed. I am a disabled veteran and my room was supposed to be upgraded but it was far from a upgrade. My sister also stayed here and she had a regular room and it was larger and nicer than the so called upgrade. Our room was small and the refrigerator was in the bathroom. It was actually in the same room as the toilet and shower now I don't know about you but that was totally disgusting. When we reached out while there the support staff did not offer anything for the inconvenience. Sorry it took so long for me to write and let you know how disappointed we were. It was our first time in Vegas and definitely left a bad taste in our mouth. This post will go on all of travel sites with a review. Thank you for your time.

I recently used snap travel for my hotel stay at Sahara Las Vegas an they had the add posted with a picture of the Sahara sign out front displaying No Resort Fees I placed the reservation with snap travel and they sent me a confirmation saying no other fees will be charged , but when I arrived at the Sahara Las Vegas I was told there were extra resort fees of 49.50 per night and a 100.00 deposit per night , I could have stayed at Cesar’s for less I was very disappointed, and to top it off the place was under construction, woke us up with Jack hammering at 7:30 am when we were trying to sleep in after a late night out ! 😡🤑 I feel ripped off and lied too !

Sahara Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is…

Sahara Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is a 5 Star Hotel . I stayed there on Dec 22-24, 2019 and the service was great ! Room service and the food was fabulous !
The rooms were really clean and nice and had a nice view of the city and and on the bottom floor was the sub way to get to what part of the city you wanted to go. The casino was very clean and nice and there was a comfortable feeling while playing the slots and game tables. There were a big selection of food places and coffee shops and arcades and entertainment and bars !
The Sahara was very nice and the staff was extra help fell when needed. Thanks Sahara for the great Time on my time there !
