Import duties and taxes are determined and charged by the customs authorities of the destination country and are not collected or controlled by Savait. These charges are standard for international shipments and are the responsibility of the recipient. For transparency, this is clearly stated in our Terms & Conditions, highlighted on the product page under the price with the note “Import duties are not included,” and reiterated again during the checkout process before completing the purchase.

When duties are refused, the shipment is returned to the sender by the carrier. In these cases, the customs authorities and the courier still apply customs processing and return shipping fees, which are charged to us in order to have the package sent back. For this reason, it would not be reasonable for Savait to absorb customs duties, handling costs, and international shipping fees simply because a customer decides not to accept the shipment after it has already been dispatched.

All of this is clearly explained in the Terms & Conditions that every customer accepts before completing a purchase. These terms exist to ensure fairness for everyone involved. It would not be fair for businesses and the people working behind them to bear the costs of international shipping, customs procedures, and returns simply because a customer chooses not to respect the terms they agreed to when placing the order.

We always aim to be transparent and to provide all the necessary information during the purchasing process, and our customer service team is always available to help clarify any doubts before an order is placed.

We’re sorry to read your comment, but the statement about a shipping cost of over $200 is simply not correct.

Shipping from Italy to the United States on our store is a flat $40, clearly indicated during checkout before completing the purchase. Customers always see the exact shipping cost before confirming the order.

If there has been any misunderstanding, please contact our customer support and we’ll be happy to clarify it.

ci dispiace leggere questa recensione perché non riflette quanto realmente accaduto.

L’articolo ordinato era una taglia 40 francese e quello spedito era effettivamente una 40 francese, esattamente come da ordine. Nelle comunicazioni intercorse lei stessa ha confermato di aver ricevuto la taglia corretta, segnalando però che la vestibilità risultava più piccola rispetto alle sue aspettative. Si tratta quindi di una valutazione soggettiva sulla vestibilità del capo, non di un errore nella spedizione.

Come indicato chiaramente nei nostri termini e condizioni, in questi casi è sempre possibile effettuare il reso con un costo di gestione di 10€, che viene semplicemente detratto dal rimborso, senza alcun pagamento anticipato da parte del cliente. Una volta ricevuto il capo, avremmo comunque potuto verificarlo. Qualora fosse emerso un errore da parte nostra, le spese sarebbero state naturalmente annullate.

Rimaniamo sempre a disposizione dei nostri clienti per trovare la soluzione migliore, ma è importante precisare che in questo caso la taglia inviata corrispondeva esattamente a quella ordinata.

These fees are determined by local regulations and are paid directly to the courier or customs agency upon arrival.

This information is clearly stated in our Terms & Conditions, highlighted on the product page under the price with the note “Import duties are not included,” and reiterated during the checkout process. Customs policies vary by country and, unfortunately, are outside of our control.

Our customer service team recommended paying the duties because refusing them typically results in the package being returned or additional carrier fees being applied, which can further delay or complicate the delivery.

This information is clearly displayed at every stage of the purchase process, from the product page to the cart and through to checkout, and is accepted by the customer before completing the order.

We understand the frustration this may cause, but unfortunately import fees cannot be predicted, reduced, or reimbursed by us.

The amount you were asked to pay was related to import duties and/or taxes required by the customs authorities in your country of destination. These charges are not collected by us, but are invoiced directly by your local customs agency.

On our website it is clearly stated that import duties, when applicable, are not included in the product price. This information is shown on the product page, during the checkout process, and in our Terms and Conditions, which are accepted before payment is completed.

For this reason, we confirm that we did not charge you any extra amount after delivery, nor did we receive any additional payment beyond your original order.
