Waiting for a text all day.as I don’t want to waste my time going if stock is not there.When I do go I am told by staff that the system glitch’s out sometimes.Would not be writing this if this was the only issue.Have gone to pick up sometimes and have found that it is next day delivery, which is not at all clear when ordering.I try to avoid using them now.No complaints about staff,they know thier system is terrible.

Ordered online for home delivery, Item never arrived and when calling them or using their whatsapp service I just get the same response. It's with the delivery team. I've requested my money back however i've been told that I can't until the parcel is sent back which I can't do! Same excuse given each time, lady on the phone got shirty when I said it sounds like she just reading from a script.

I wish that when you go screwfix to collect they would be more interested in serving you than chatting drinking coffee and eating . Screwfix Rochester.

I ordered a washine machine hose to be delivered. For once the order actually got delivered....but it turned out to be a door lock!! So I borrowed a hose from a neighbour.
Of course no apologies from SF, and the buggers subtracted the postage from the refund.
I won't miss them when they collapse.

This is a 1 because 0 is not available. Horrible experience so far.
Used to be reasonable, but now most items are next day. Also prices not competitive anymore. Ordered some items for next day collection. Went to branch next day at mid-day and lazy staff had still not unpacked the delivered pallet. Told to try later. Why do you call it 'next day' when you actually mean 2-3 days later! Most people doing building work are working to tight timelines, do you not understand that?
If you cant run a decent business you deserve to be shutdown.

Gave 1 star as can’t give o stars , wrong item received phoned straight away to return and get the correct item sent 3 days later still no response I’ve been on live chat every day and all I get is we are waiting on warehouse to find out what happened ( easy some one sent out wrong unit ) won’t give me new unit ( had to cancel joiner that was putting it in don’t know when I will get him again) or refund my money

Interested to know why the red handled version is cheaper than the blue handled version?

Excellent service from April at Screwfix Ascot Drive, Derby – today!

I visited Screwfix today needing a few items and wasn’t sure exactly what I required for the job. April was so helpful right from the start – she listened carefully to what I was doing, explained all the options clearly, and never made me feel silly for asking lots of questions.

She went out of her way to check stock, got exactly what I needed straight away, and even gave me some really useful tips on how to use things properly – saved me so much hassle later on. Nothing was too much trouble, she was friendly, polite and really knew her stuff. Such great customer service.

April is a total credit to your team. Will definitely ask for her help again next

Very helpful staff. I ordered some exterior cable and some fuses online and it was ready for collection within half hour. Very good service.

It says clearance on their website, but the product is expiring in 2 weeks time! Felt cheated by them!

Shopped around several stores online. Like for like Screwfix were the (equal) cheapest.
Sales assistant at their Bredbury store ( Ian) could not have been more helpful. He opened the box and explained how to connect up the various components our new purchase.

Ordered online a product from Screwfix. When it did not arrive they were not interested. Tried to deflect to courier company. Requested a refund. When it was issued it did not include shipping. Contacted their customer services and, despite being courteous and civil with them, they terminated the the online chat. They could learn so much from the waynB&Q deal with such matters. Not recommended.

Screwfix is aimed at the DIY consumer market. Like most of those, I need one M20 washer but their smallest pack is 50? What a total waste of materials that will sit in peoples garages, increasing waste, pollution, climate change, resources. Does Screwfix not want to look after Earth's environment???

Ordered air con units twice, didn’t hear anything about collecting, rang customer service to be told it was a system error and they aren’t in stock. I had to wait a week for a refund

Ordered a couple of bits for the first time with the speedy delivery service. Waited a couple of hours, no delivery, called customer services who were going to deal with it. I then got a delivery time waited again for the order and when the delivery time came the order was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Thanks for wasting my time. Won’t use again.

I purchased three emergency lights from Screwfix for £49 each, the products were faulty and I only noticed it after 1 year, I had to buy replacement from somewhere else as I lost my face in 4Lite brand. Screwfix started creating marketplace and reselling other brands. The product been discontinued, and it speaks for itself that it was a faulty product however Screwfix preferred to screw customers by not making recall for a faulty product they sold! It is a shameful business!

Drove 35 minutes to this store to collect the patio cleaner I ordered, they wouldn’t let me have it without showing my ID to prove I’m over 18, to put this in perspective, I’m 32 years old, I was with my 32 year old wife & my 1 year old child. I haven’t carried ID for 10 years. Never seen anything so ridiculous in my life.

Lee Matthews delivery driver from the Enfield depo was fantastic today, happy, polite, delivered our dishwasher to kitchen that is the basement. five stars for Lee!!!
