I have given 5 star for the customer service we received. Very personal and very informative. I won’t mark down but be aware of the lead times for delivery. We have been quoted 16 weeks, but we are prepared to accept this because of the quality of the product and service received

Not pressured in store, but the staff were there to help if needed. Amy who helped us was delightful

I purchased a sofa from SCS. Upon delivery the delivery crew scratched one of my doors multiple times and put a gouge in the wall. When I contacted SCS I was asked to give evidence. After giving evidence the claimed it was not their responsibility and that I needed to contact the upholsterer. I phoned SCS customer support who once again told me it wasn't their responsibility and that I should contact the delivery crew. I would never use SCS again as they lack accountability and clearly hire irresponsible contractors. Having researched online I have found information stating that as my contract is with SCS they are responsible for any damages to my home. I have found that they are difficult to contact regarding this matter as there is no email address linked to the website. If you phone you get shut down. I will be looking at taking this matter to citizens advise.

The experience at the Basildon store was one I cannot fault. Callum the associate who assisted us was amazingly helpful & made the whole experience a smooth & easy one.

Staff were amazing, Amy in the Basildon branch was very helpful and not pushy sales ploys either unlike others.

We had one three seater fabric sofa and two single leather chairs delivered by two operatives.
They fitted the legs on the sofa and left two of the four hanging off as they had destroyed the head of the bolts with the impact drill leaving it impossible to either tighten the bolts or loosen them.
Clearly they would of known of their poor workmanship but as the sofa sat on the legs evenly it was not noticed until later when I moved the sofa.
The leather single chairs were two part and therefore had a leather 'flap' that extended from the top half to the bottom and is fixed by stretching the leather on to a Velcro strip to keep it tight. This was not achieved as both were left hanging and appeared as though they were not long enough.
Problem is that they are in too much of a hurry as they are looking to make as many deliveries as they can in a day.
I then had to arrange through SCS for their repair team to come out and put these faults right, which I have to say that individual carried out his work very well.
Also, one of the delivery operatives decided not to remove his footwear and left dirt and mud on our Amtico flooring for us to clean up.

When we went to purchase our new Sofa the Staff in the Basildon Store were so polite and helpful and made the whole experience stress free. We got great notification from the team delivering our new sofa, they let us know when they were 25 minutes away and when they turned up they couldn't have been more helpful and polite. They were both professional and respectful and very informative about how to look after our New sofa, Fantastic service.

Awful, this company is atrocious. We ordered three sofas last year around March time, two arrived as promised. The third was delayed due to building works, we paid around £800 for the sofas. The third turned up, wrong colour, they redelivered the wrong colour a second time. We spoke to the shop multiple times, they passed us on to (non) customer services, we told them if it didn't arrive soon we would no longer be able to get it in as we had arranged further furniture deliveries for our dining room, I was told if it was made I would have to accept it even though it was their fault. She never even bothered to ring us back with an update. We have been in the store around 7 times and this has been going on for nearly a year with no communication whatsoever. Today we went in the store and we were told it had been cancelled and they are charging us over £200 for cancellation. It's been nearly a year and nobody has rung us or anything, no communication whatsoever. I'm taking this further this company has basically just robbed us.

Great product, the delivery guys were amazing, they needed to take the sofa apart to get it through the door but they did it with a smile on their face, cleared up after themselves and were highly professional

Sofa ordered in store, but when delivered it had contrast stitching which we weren't expecting. Rejected on delivery but impossible to contact anyone, multiple emails ignored. 1 response but not able to reply. Luckily we still have our ould sofa but just want confirmation of the rejection as per consumer law.
