We visited one of the Birmingham stores and was greeted on the way in, and most of all not pestered or made to feel like we were having something forced upon us.
An employee called Giovanni was very helpful and was there to answer any questions we had. The staff were very polite and helpful and we ended up with 2 lovely sofas which will be made to our requirements. Can’t wait for them to arrive

Sales lady Kerri was very helpful, the sofa I chose felt very comfortable, still waiting for delivery which I have been advised will be in 12 weeks

Really great experience vey helpful gentleman but one thing that would have been helpful is if you could arrange to get rid of old sofa why I’m at the store especially for people who don’t have access to the internet to Book it on line.

Numerous calls and emails regarding my delivery date continuously being pushed back. No response at all from SCS. Terrible customer service. Do not buy from them!

I wouldn't recommend SCS. furniture damaged and Castle Vale branch manager is passing the book. Extremely annoyed I'd not recommend using SCS

Placed order in august got given an estimated date for 22nd of November.
Deep into December still not heard anything so chased it up.
Got told we will definitely get it before Christmas. So got rid of old one leaving us with nothing to sit on for it to be eventually delivered 27th of December
The guys in the shop helped as much as they could also the delivery lads were great
The problem for me was customer services and being told false promises.
A number of times I'd call them and you're told to press number 1 for a call back to save waiting over an hour at times in the queue
They would call back but ring once and end the call so I never had chance to answer so I'd be back to square 1 this happened a few times
I found they was no help whatsoever
After threatening to cancel the order I managed to get a bit of money knocked off.
I'm happy with the sofa but won't be using these again

Ordered sofa in 2024, still waiting in 2025. Confirmed delivery slot for 25/03/2025, confirmation received 24/03. Had existing sofas removed. Waited since 7AM on the day of arrival and still no show. No communication, no email.

just delivery my sofa so i no longer have to order or give any further time or communication with SCS, pay the extra and go with DFS.

unreliable delivery dates even after 4 months notice. they have taken my money very promply but keep extending there delivery. Impossible to contact for help cannot contact by phone or their website live chat - nobody answers. to me this company is teetering on being fraudulent. Use another supplier there are plenty about. The response from scs was to politely hide behind their terms and conditions. Were these written because they knew they would give a tardy response to customers orders?

Furniture was difficult to get into the property but the delivery men Pete + Craig did a great job. We are very pleased with the new furniture

Sales person good, but disappointed to learn that delivery put back another week. Furniture ordered 16 January.
Castle vale shop.

I received my Blyth sofa consisting of a 4 seater, 3 seater and cuddle chair on 28/02/25. I have no bad comments about the delivery guys who brought the sofa in, they actually went above and beyond to help and deliver it with care so I'd rate these as 5 star. My issue is with the "after care". There are 2 faults with the seating cover on the 3 seater. Having called their Sunderland number several times with no answer I went into my local store to ask how else I could contact the after sales care team. I have sent an email with the fault images attached and after several days of no contact from them I went back in to my local store. They gave me a few other numbers to try and they also sent an email on my behalf to get in touch with me, they still haven't. I have spent over an hour today ringing the Sunderland number again and still no answer. I have used the option for them to call me back and I'm still waiting. To quote the beginning of the email "when you're happy, we are too" but when you're not happy apparently they don't want to know. It's ashame that the "after care" team are not as pro active as the instore and delivery team and seems like once they've had your custom that's the end of the matter. Poor after care sales. We went in to get an idea of what we wanted. We were left alone, which I appreciated as I just wanted to look around, and only approached when I couldn’t get the recliner back to its position.
Giovanni was absolutely brilliant. He got us coffees. He was patient, knowledgeable in every area and just a joy to talk to. He explained everything clearly, gave us ideas and helped us choose what we wanted.
It was just a quick visit to see what was available and we walked out with 2 new sofas ordered! Thank you Giovanni excellent service!

I was previously upset by SCS by the delivery drivers arrogant service and not bothering to try to get the settee through the door.
On contacting store manager. This has now been resolved. Other drivers came today and worked hard and got the settee amd chair in. They were friendly and professional

The 2 delivery men were fantastic. They got my power assisted (super heavy) sofa upto my 3rd floor flat. They positioned and set it up perfectly in my living room.
We couldn't be happier with our sofa - which looks gorgeous and works perfectly.

Tracking was excellent. The chaps who delivered the sofa and two chairs were very pleasant and a credit to your company. Kingsley and Ehis, well done.
