My husband and I were in your Scunthorpe store and we were left alone to browse your products,we greatly appreciated this as we don't like to feel rushed,we found a suite we liked but had another appointment and the young man made us an appointment for later with the offer of £50 off our purchase if we wanted to proceed with our purchase at no time did we feel rushed or uncomfortable about completing our purchase. The young man was helpful when we asked technical questions and made our experience with your company very pleasant which resulted in a sale.

After a very pleasant experience chatting with and being looked after by 2 sales assistants, my wife and I had chosen our favourite items and colour scheme and prices were given. However, as we also wished to go to see another competitor, we said we would go away and think about it. The assistant who had dealt with us the most then clearly snivelled his nose up in disapproval, which we obviously weren’t very happy with. After not finding anything else suitable, we decided to return the next day to make our purchase. When placing the order, it came to light that the price quoted was incorrect as what we believed we had discussed and wanted wasn’t what we had been quoted for. We feel we made it 100% clear what we wanted and couldn’t understand the logic of what the assistant had done. The correct price was a few hundred pounds more. We both felt that this was a deliberate ploy to get us to spend more money. After a lot of unhappy haggling, the original incorrect price was then agreed. On both days, we were also told that what we were ordering was in limited supply and we needed to make a quick decision to make sure we got it. However, we had also made it clear we were in no rush to make the purchase as we didn’t need the order for about 3 months. We could not therefore understand why a non-urgent order had to be rushed through. Surely, if specific items are requested, then an order is made to have them ready for when the customer needs them and not for them to be taken from short supply stock? Again, we both felt this was another underhand sales ploy to get us to make the purchase quickly. So, overall, we feel very let down by ScS in the way we were treated.

Great. Phoned before to let me know they would be with me in 1 to 1.5 hours and they were. Very courteous and respected my home. Well done fellas.

Our three piece suite was delivered with the main couch being completely the wrong design on 29th November 2024.
The delivery men who were excellent reported this and said SCS would be in touch.
My wife also informed SCS of the mistake.
SCS said an engineer would come to rectify the couch by adding new replacement parts.
So far nothing has been heard.
Meanwhile we have a couch we don’t want.
I have tried ringing SCS customer services only to find a wait time of 230 minutes! So I hung up.
I would like financial compensation for this monumental error!

Kept up to date on delivery with the time and names of men delivering. We were regularly updated and delivery was predicted to within half an hour. The sofa arrived at exactly the predicted time and the men,Anthony and Sean were spot on - unwrapping and explaining the mechanism and then disposing of all packaging. An excellent job well done

Great service by the chap whom served me at the Scunthorpe branch also Excellent service by Todd n Terry( Don-883-969) the delivery drivers they was very helpful and was respectful , unpacked the sofa n chair with care even cleared packaging away … thank you

We made our purchases of our Griffin Sofas from the Scunthorpe branch, and were looked after by Suzanne, who was very friendly and efficient.
We especially wanted to see her because of a recommendation of some close friends of ours.
Who also purchased a Griffin Suite. Suzanne was very helpful and put us at our ease, the whole process was really straightforward and stress free.

We were promised sofas for Xmas now will be mid Jan not happy

The young man that served both me,and my son,was very informative, enthusiastic,and keen to please! He gave us a cup of tea,and made sure we managed to find the suite we were looking for with no problems!

I was kept up to date with the delivery time. It was put back a bit probably because of the horrendous storm. It was raining very heavy when Chris and Terry arrived but it didn’t stop them! Very pleasant and built the 3 piece suite with no problem.

It’s a pity you can’t get a reply on the telephone!!! Waiting time was 220mins!!! This lets SCS down.

The 2 guys were great and we are very pleased with everything they did.The only thing I would say is we did ask for some notification so we could dispose of our old 2 seater and clean the carpet.We were notified Friday tea for Saturday delivery so we could not clean the carpet but your two guys took our old one out for us.

We went to the Scunthorpe store. As we entered Suzanne approached to ask if we needed any help. She wasn’t pushy and was able to show the examples of what we were looking for. She listened to our requirements and was clearly knowledgeable about the products. We changed our minds and discussed between ourselves. She was patient throughout. She was happy to do 3 different quotes to help us make our final decision. She explained the care and insurance package. A colleague brought us a coffee.

There was a good choice of sofas. Some I thought was very expensive. The ones I bought was on offer so as a pensioner working part time gave me the opportunity to buy. Also interest free option is a massive bonus for buyer's. Staff are lovely no pressure. Very helpful.

Ordered something, then found out about losing my job next day, went in to see about cancelling the order all I got told was the cloth is all ready cut so hard luck, all this within 12 hours 😢

Still not received sofa and no notification of it being delivered. Can’t get any answers waste of time

My recliner chair is very nice and I am happy with it.
The sales lady was very good - no problems.
It was reduced and I paid for it and delivery (£80 seemed high for one chair.) It could not be delivered for a couple of weeks for some reason.
On returning to the store a week later the chair was still in the window uncovered for anyone to sit on , and potentially mark. I was not happy as l had already paid for it and didn't want random people sitting on it.
I voiced my concerns and lack of space was blamed; it was moved to the back.
We had the usual reminders about delivery times which were broken but the delivery staff were polite and managed the chair well.
