The choice of suites were excellent the assistant a female shown me where all the fabrics that were available could be found when I had decided which one liked very helpful telling me it could be a recliner very efficient and knowledgeable about products .the other reason I choose you company I previously had one from another branch of ours over 20years ago and it's still in a serviceable condition

I had visited Sheffield Drakehouse Store approx 3 weeks earlier so had narrowed my choice to x2 sofa makes. With Shaun's help I then chose the material & colour. Shaun left me to browse, but was there to help with his many years of knowledge & expert opinion, The new SCS set up is a massive improvement!

Staff very helpful

The service was excellent from start to finish the 2 men were prompt & it only took them about 1/2 hour to put my sofas together. So pleased with them.

Initially visited the Sheffield store at Drakehouse retail park to learn about recliners, pricing, and to try some for comfort. I was wearing a sunflower lanyard as I'm autistic, and have a number of physical disabilities so I was walking with a stick. Due to social anxiety I was very anxious about being the target of a 'hard sell'. Ryan was very accommodating; introducing himself, offering pertinent information, giving me space yet offering advice. He asked me about my particular needs and made it a truly collaborative process. He anticipated my needs by encouraging me to sit, using the instore lift, and ensured I had the information I was seeking. He invited me to sit and try out a number of recliners and listened to my feedback. I felt I had all the information I needed to make a decision, and placed an order today. Ryan turned a stressful experience into one I found to be positive, fruitful, and quite enjoyable. He and Kane are a credit to your business.

The welcome was friendly. The staff member, (Shaun) pointed out that every sofa comes in every fabric type but then left us to browse privately. When we needed assistance he was helpful and informative and couldn't do enough to guide us through the process efficiently and with expert knowledge and advice. Brilliant!

Friendly warm staff. I wasn't really sure what I wanted, I had a look round and Kane was really nice and patient while I changed my mined couple of times. Went back to add another item to my order no problem he added it straight away no issues

Very bad customer service. I received damaged product and reported that in the same day not get any proper response from the team . When I visit the showroom and inform the damage the store manager was very rude and arrogant. Still my issue not resolved…. If you are called the customer service and add call back service never call back on the same day May be will call next day….. vey bad and worst service

Helpful and worthwhile knowledge by staff

Visited SCS drakehouse retail park on 28th march 2025 we were greeted quickly by Ryan. I explained that as my husband had mobility issues I would quickly go around the store to narrow choices so he wouldn’t have to walk too much. Ryan sat and chatted to my husband as as I did this. Ryan was very friendly and patient as we debated our choices of furniture and colours he didn’t make us feel rushed or pressured. Ryan’s explained the order and delivery process and timescale and answered any questions. Lee was also friendly and assisted me on my initial walk around. I know they are there to sell products but Ryan’s friendliness made our visit very pleasant.

Ordered in October, given a date of 20 Jan when I specifically gave them dates I was on holiday. They wouldn’t reply to emails or by phone. Rang them back to reschedule delivery once I was home. Had to ring back as I didn’t receive any confirmation back to be told it’s not been booked on system. Had email back after that saying I would get a phone call/message the night before, well still waiting. So I have to ring up yet again. Fuming, will never use again

Great choice friendly staff

The delivery guys Matthew and Glynn contacted us to up-date on a delivery time. They were both polite, professional and friendly. They took great care on setting up our furniture and gave us a demonstration of the controls.

Great service from a great company. Ordering instore to the actual delivery couldn't have gone any better.
The delivery guys were 1st class and very friendly.
Overall I am very satisfied with my new sofa and service from SCS.

Edit- reduced my experience to 2 stars. Finding it very difficult to get in touch with SCS because of a problem with my new sofa.
