Barry and Shaun delivered my sofa today and did an excellent job. Followed all instructions. Great job. My only gripe was the time allocated for delivery was much later than expected.

Amy our sales assistant was patient and explained each part of the process to us and even arranged a couple of battery packs when we explained we had a shortage of plug sockets to accommodate the recliners.

Me and my girlfriend have just purchased a stunning 4 seat recliner and armchair and are both over the moon cannot wait for it to arrive, we was greeted by Jan, she was very helpful, very polite and a credit to the company would recommend her to anyone, cannot thank her enough!

Simon and Ste were very polite and professional, nothing fazed them sofa was quite big but they managed it well no problem at all. Fitted feet on sofa and chairs took all packaging away kept informed of arrival time. Simon and Ste are a credit to your company and I hope they are recognised for the excellent service they provide to customers.

Symon and Ste were great, they rang ahead to let me know they were coming and did an excellent job of delivering and setting up my sofa.

The suite was scheduled for delivery and booked in earlier than expected , we couldn’t accept our suite on the date , but a quick phone call and this was rearranged to a more convenient time for us , with no problem at all. The three lads that delivered my settee’s were absolutely lovely , respectful of my property , taking care of the delivery, was delivered in the time slot allocated .
They were all very polite , they tidied up after themselves.

I bought a sofa from SCS in June 2024, but it arrived damaged. The back of the sofa is broken, and if you lean on it, it falls down. I reported this issue to SCS, and they referred me to a company called Emmeria. Someone from Emmeria came out to check the sofa and confirmed that it was damaged when it was dropped off the delivery truck; the wooden frame inside was broken and needs repairs.

Despite my repeated follow-ups over the past 8 to 9 months, my sofa is still broken, and I have no idea when it will be fixed. I've had to live with a faulty couch for far too long.

I believe I deserve a replacement sofa or a full refund so I can buy a working couch somewhere else. This situation has gone on long enough!

We thought there was lots of choice and Cath was very helpful showing us different colours and materials for the sofas we picked

Email the day before delivery stated that they would arrive between 10:00-15:00. That morning a more detailed time of 12:50-14:00 was confirmed, so we planned our day around it.
I got a phone call at 7:37am saying they'd be with us in an hour, by 09:15, nothing, I rang 8 times and text the number to ask for an update. I had to do the school run, my child's 100% attendance now ruined as he was late for school.
Delivery finally came at 13:30, when I asked them what had happened, the delivery man "didn't know how to use a mobile phone" The lack of correspondence was terrible. Once they'd unpacked the couch, they asked if they could leave lots of mess on the floor, which I then had to clear up.
Awful service.

We were greeted by the most pleasant sales person Keith. From start to finish he was extremely informative and very knowledgeable of the sofas at this store. He was extremely patient and gave us really great advice without being at all pushy. In my opinion he is a complete asset to SCS and helped us decide on our ideal sofa. Lovely touch offering refreshments.

Visited store in st Helens to help buy Mum a new sofa and chair.From start to finish Christine was amazing. Helpful and so knowledgeable helping us choose the right fit for Mum. Christine is friendly but not pushy. The choice of sofas and fabrics is endless. I returned with my Husband and ordered new suite for us too. Once again Christine offered excellent service and was helpful.

I have finally got round to writing a review for the sofa I purchased a couple of weeks ago at the St Helens store. I came in to look for a sofa for my first home and cannot thank Debs enough for helping me throughout. She was very approachable, informative and patient. She talked me through the history of the store and the new owner which was very interesting! Whilst struggling with picking a fabric she also gave me advise were needed and didn’t put me under any pressure until I was happy and confidant with what I wanted. She answered all my questions thoroughly and is a massive asset to SCS. Thank you Debs!

No pressure allowed to browse without being pestered

The St Helens store was beautifully presented. As we were looking around, Keith, the sales assistant asked if we needed any help. At the time we were just browsing so he explained the layout of the store and left us to browse. He came over again when we found a suitable sofa and explained all the options available to us. He showed us a range of different leather colours.
We explained that we wanted to check at home to see if it was better to buy just a sofa or also a chair.
We returned the following Sunday to make our purchase.
