Ordered a saddle - too narrow and returned. Reordered a wider saddle and was supplied the incorrect product. Emailed continually for over a month; however, no one would ever reply.
Have now returned both saddles and continue to email almost daily.
Never experienced such poor customer service.

I bought the Selle Royal Adult Elastomer Gel Touring Saddle, Black (One Size) in July 2025, expecting a comfortable and durable product, as the brand is well-known for its quality. At first, the saddle felt great — the gel provided good comfort during rides, and the design was suitable for city commuting and longer tours.

However, to my surprise, the saddle completely broke just a few months later, even though I don’t ride very often. I only use my bike for short trips around town, so there’s no reason for it to have failed so quickly. Considering the price and Selle Royal’s reputation, I expected much better build quality.

It seems the internal structure isn’t as strong as it should be, which is quite disappointing for a product in this category. Now I’ll have to replace it much sooner than expected.

✅ Comfortable at first
❌ Very poor durability
❌ Weak materials — broke after light use
❌ Not recommended if you’re looking for something that lasts

Ho acquistato una sella in carbonio San Marco distribuita da Selle Italia, molto costosa tramite il rivenditore Lordgun ma da una verifica del peso è risultata estremamente dissonante da quanto riportato sia sul sito , sia sulla confezione ( pubblicità ingannevole e forviante ). Ho riportato evidenze fotografiche ma nulla, di nulla, nessuna risposta e reso a pagamento tramite il rivenditore. Inutile provare il contatto telefonico o via mail, in quanto non rispondono. Enfasi della scorrettezza.

bought a SELLE ITALIA SUPERFLOW XLR saddle for 140 eur over 2 years ago and 9000 km. 80kg rider. Broken in 3 sections

I fully don't recommend this saddle. 9000 km it's what a pro should be doing in 4-6 months...

The metal frame of the saddle just broke while I was riding. It had never happened to me before with any other maker. It could have been very dangerous as it obviously caused a loss of balance. What's more I complained with the company and they did not even bother replying to my mail. i have been a client of selle italia for many years but will not repeat this mistake anymore.
