Don’t waste your time or money

Don’t waste your time or money. Service Champions appears to prioritize sales over actual service. Their membership feels like a way to upsell rather than provide real value.
Repairs are not included, and during each tune-up they seem to find new “issues,” often recommending expensive parts and high labor charges.
In my experience, they quoted over $1,000 to fix my AC, with a warning it could go up to $3,000. I got a second opinion from a local technician who fixed the issue in 15 minutes for $165.
That difference speaks for itself—especially considering I’ve been paying them annually.

Dishonest and Overpriced

Dishonest, highly overpriced.
Website claims $57 drain service, which I have paid twice in the past with no issues. Scheduled this service again, (once per year) and was told it was now $99, even though the website indicated $57.
This is after paying them a whopping $2500 to replace a leaky shower valve! Beware of their "member discounts" which is a total scam and waste of money. I also noticed the p trap under the sink was leaking after the drain cleaning was done. Adios "Service Chumpions"

I do not like writing negative reviews

I do not like writing negative reviews, but buyer beware. Service Champions is impressive when they arrive, warm, inviting and roll out the red carpet.

1st, I purchased the annual membership for roughly $250. Oscar said, I could immediately cancel the auto renew. Not true. If I canceled early, it would immediately be dropped. Instead I would have to wait for 11.5 months to pass, call and cancel it.

2nd, I have a freon leak. They said the entire copper tube would need replaced. Not true. My builder is doing a full isolation test and said they could identify EXACTLY where the leak is. Service Champions quoted me roughly $6k to replace all the copper tubing rather than isolating it solely to the leak area. RIP OFF!

3rd, I have an air flow/duct issue and when Service Champions was in the attic, they said, they could feel cold air blowing in the attic so there was a leak in the ducting. Instead of replacing the one duct area they said was leaking, Ismael quoted me roughly $6k to replace ALL THE DUCTING. Why would I just not fix the one problematic duct area for $1k versus everything for $6k? RIP OFF. Why fix what isn’t broke, just fix the bad area!! And, not to mention, that is not where the leak was. Builder discovered it in the floor board area, near the coil and repaired it for a fraction of the cost Service Champions quoted me, not to mention, they were charging me to repair an already working duct!! I learned the Service Champions Repairmen get paid a COMMISSION on top of their hourly rate. So they are incentivized to oversell, upcharge and do repairs that are not needed!! I don’t understand how this company has such good reviews. People are fooled and I mean that from the bottom of my heart!

Lastly, I now have an electrical issue with my prewired cabling causing my internet connection to be spotty. Dish, tested the cable box wires in the closes and said, one of these has not lost its connection. He said the wiring is up on the attic. My guess is when Service Champions was crawling around up there, they inadvertently disconnected, broke or caused some damage to that wiring so now my cable had to be hard wired in and wires running on the outside of my house. Not aesthetically desirable.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. FIND SOMEONE TRUSTWORTHY INSTEAD!!

I love this company

I love this company my father and I have been using them for years and will years to come. We take advantage of their 58 dollar point checkup every year. They give it they're all expertise.
Our equipment is in top shape because of all the point checks that they've done on our cooling and heating system. Their right there when you need them they come when they say they will they're just great I worked with Elias and I think he's very good at his job
He's thorough and really professional. I'll be using them from here on every year just like we have for the last 10 years.

This place sucks

This place sucks. Avoid. Tech came out, said we needed a valve, ordered the valve, valve never showed up. No calls. No updates. Use a mom and pop for your hvac needs. This company misses the mark.

Club Member for 15 years

Club Member for 15 years - What a waste
I booked a maintenance appointment online and got it in 3 days. Had a change a work and asked to move it. Now they say it will take 40+ days. Never again. Choose another company. They are not what they promote - service - what a joke.

BEWARE this private-equity plumbing profiteer

BEWARE! Contact them after reading this, and you have no one to blame but yourself.

Today for the first time I called Service Champions, owners of multiple plumbing co's, including Adeedo and Jack Stephan. Bad call on my part. Three strikes and I’m out:
8:30 a.m.: They said that btw/ 12 and 2pm they’d have a plumber here.
1:45 pm: I call to check in and I'm told dispatch will get back to me.
3 pm: I call again and this time I'm told they have to handle prior customers first and can’t get anyone out *today at all*.

Let’s review these hall-of-famers: Not only don’t they make their window, they don’t even make the *day*. And I discover that fact only b/c *I call them*. Bonus points: My window wasn’t 5-8pm, it was *midday* – ie, their morning calls took up their entire day (?). As their tip o’ the hat, there was no offer to come tomorrow, no discount for future service.

My best guess: They're owned by a private-equity company (press release on their own website) and maximize profits by using the airlines’ trick of intentionally and grossly overbooking customers. Today, I was one of their Whoops, We're So Sorry.

I'll Pass on Service Champion

I had a plumber come out Thursday 10/27/1022. He was professional, clean and polite, but he wasn't Service Champion. He was from Adeedo Plumbing. When I called into customer service for the work to be done. The Rep couldn't give me an estimated price. The Plumber will give you the estimate. Which is fair. For me, it seems like they should be able to give you a ballpark figure on certain repairs. I know it wouldn't be exact, because of complications that could arise. The work I had requested was to have a drain unclogged and kitchen faucet replaced. He didn't want to take off the runoff cap, because it was old, and didn't want to try. He looked under the house to tell me that the pipes were old, and they would need to be replaced. I told him no thank you. Your prices were too high. I realize, everything has gotten expensive. When the customer service rep can't give an estimate price. I don't put my trust in people. I understand in some cases a person would have to see the work beforehand. I don't deal with third party companies. When you call Service Champion and listen to their recording of what you can expect from them. It's nothing but a bunch hype within their advertisement. Not that I needed his help, but he never offered to do anything. Since, I wasn't going to pay his price. He left very quickly. I will never call Service Champion again.

SERVICE CHAMPIONS Livermre/Pleasant

5 STAR the full staff of dedicated Service Champion Heater and AC employees. Especially, Devin Spivey repair technician, Saad Arain Sales Engineer, Stephen Fike heater and thermostat installer and his assistant Rico and all of the phone schedulers. A very professional and timely experience, thankful, highly recommended. Looking forward to permit completion as well.

Late on a Friday evening

Late on a Friday evening, I discovered a backed up kitchen drain. I called Service Champions and explained my predicament. The lady on the phone was very kind and worked really hard to help me. A plumber arrived promptly (coming all the way from Corona) and fixed my problem. Sorry I don't remember his name (I think it might have been Miguel). Very friendly, clean and efficient. I will use this company the next time I have a problem.

Service Champions - Great Service

Service Champions stepped up when we needed them. Our heating went out on a cold weekend. The service person didn't have heaters to lend us with him, so he went out and bought them so we could have heat until they got the unit fixed.

Bad customer service

I urgently needed something to be fixed at home. I called their customer service and was met with a lot of attitude. I was so disappointed since the reviews on their page indicate the contrary. I only hope that their customer service was having a bad day.
