I use excel constantly in my job, but was totally new to VBA. Simon the trainer from Seven Institute came over to the islands to teach these 'new' techniques to a group of us.
I found him to be very knowledgeable, helpful, and calm. If there was a problem with any part of his teaching that I didn't understand fist time, he was able to go over it with me until it clicked into place.
I hope that we can make use of this resource in the future.

I really enjoyed this course, helped by the trainer that we had to take us through this. I was lucky as I was in a small group consisting of me and 1 other colleague, this gave us great 1 on 1 time with the trainer and he adapted the course to suit our needs when necessary. I would definitely recommend this course to others.

Very effective training delivered from a trainer with a personable teaching style.

I guess it's always a bit difficult to decide what level of course is right, especially when it comes to computer programme courses. The intermediate level was perfect for me, just the right level between feeling familiar and comfortable with some functions, and being really stretched and challenged with other aspects of the system. In summary: well presented and logical content and material, knowledgeable and fun trainer, good location - I highly recommend the Seven Institute.

Really enjoyed the Excel Training. Class was a small group of 7 which made it easier to learn and get on with the lesson. The tutor was great and really knew his stuff. Roll on the Advanced class.... would definitely recommend!

Very Productive and Extremely enjoyable.The Tutor was very patient and encouraged participation to the lesser students.The Equipment and Facility's was good and I learn't new ways to manipulate data on spread sheets and brushed up on my previous skills.

I attended the training for basic Excell, I found the trainer made it very easy to follow and I was very pleased with what I had learnt in a very short period of time. I look forward to using the manuals.

Then this course is just for you! Fully recommend Simon Khan and Seven Institute for you and your team. Great examples, with big patience. Small class so you can ask as many questions as you like. If you are hesitating, go for it.

Despite no previous training, the course was easy to follow and focused on relevant skills that have been easy to implement. The tutor also managed to keep it interesting and fun. Would definitely recommend.

I think the training is very useful but it should be more practice to be able to understand the topics..

The course was very useful, it refreshed things I had forgotten and taught some new bits that will make my life easier. Simon was a great teacher, very patient, good with the students. I will go back to have a go at the advanced level if he is the one teaching us.

Simon is a great and helpful instructor, and very personable. I found his teaching style easy to understand, both on a one to one basis, when he visited the Office for a one-to-one excel training session, and also when in a group setting. I was worried that I may not be able to keep up in a group setting after experiencing one-to-one, however, Simon was attentive to everyone's individual needs and requirements throughout the day, and made his group training session an enjoyable and rewarding day. I would definitely recommend Seven Institute for excel training. Please convey my thanks to Simon for his wealth of experience in training.

Paul Rhodes is absolutely the best trainer I have ever come across. He manages to translate the maze that is PowerPoint and Excel into perfectly understandable and do-able language. I have a new confidence because I now understand the background workings of these programmes.
