We had a good chat with her, went through lots of different options.
Then we went to at least 4 other local garages - and came back.
We ordered the car the same day.

Attentive Staff
We were more than happy with the staff at S.G. Petch especially Peter MC as they were attentive without being pushy.
Not all went smoothly but this was easily resolved without fuss. We would definitely consider using them again in the future and will recommend them to family and friends.

Loving my Kia Sportage
I recently purchased a Kia Sportage from the Kia garage in York, and I can’t recommend Wayne Jackson highly enough. From start to finish, he was a true gentleman—professional, trustworthy, and never once made me feel under any pressure.
Wayne really listened to what I was looking for and, incredibly, found the perfect car for me within just a couple of days. The whole experience was completely stress-free, which made such a difference and took all the worry out of buying a car.
I’m absolutely loving my Kia Sportage—it’s exactly what I wanted and more. Every drive reminds me I made the right choice!

I have been buying cars from SG Petch (Skippers lane Middlesbrough) since about 2013.
I always get first class service and a deal which I am happy with.
The staff are great, very helpful and efficient. I have been dealing with Tony Hill for 13 years and find his service to be excellent. I also get the impression that the other sales staff are just as good.
I would strongly recommend SG Petch to anyone looking for a new car.

After reading reviews regarding this company, I decided to visit them myself, and I was not disappointed. On arrival, I was greeted by Gary, who showed me the cars I was interested in and then left me alone to decide if I wanted to take any for a test drive. At no time did I feel pressured into buying. Following 2 test drives, we chose an I-10 and couldn't be happier with it. Gary is a STAR. Thank you for your service.

Let down by after sales experience
It was easy to purchase the car from a distance, only visiting the garage to collect it. Car was clean and tidy, and Ray was helpful. However, 3 weeks later, still waiting for V5, as this is not activated immediately. Disappointing.

27 Days for a recall regarding a potential EV fire!!!!
Received a safety recall email on Thursday 2April for my Hyundai Kona EV. Rang their supplying Middlesborogh dealership to arrange a repair and was told both Service Receptionists were out to lunch and would ring me back.
After 2 hours when they did not ring back, I rang theit Durham dealership to tried and get the car booked in for a repair, they could not get anyone in Servicing to answer the phone, so they said they would get someone to ring back but got no callback from them either.
As it was Good Friday on 3 April I rang Durham again on Saturday 5 April to be told the service department was closed till Tuesday 7 April.
They did ring me back on the 7 April to book my Kona Electric Vehicle in on 29 April - 27 days for a recall regarding a potential battery fire on an electric vehicle.
