I would like to share my experience with Shumailas .
As a new shop has opened in Kenton I was excited to see what treatments they offered, so on the 8th of November 2025 I walked in and was greeted pleasantly by a member of staff who introduced me to a consultant called Anika. I had walked in to see if you could help me with my skin condition called Rosacea. Anika looked at my face and assured me that this condition is treatable with laser blue and red lights and she showed me on her phone various clients who had same problem and were successfully treated . She also showed me her personal pictures and said she had the same problem and with the light therapy it has completely cleared. Based upon these assurances I signed up to course of 8 treatments.
On my first visit a consultant was assigned to attend and give me the light therapy for 15 minutes however after 15 minutes she forgot to come back and left me unattended for more than 30 minutes in the dark room . The door was shut and it caused me a great deal of distress and panic. I was shouting to get someone to attend to me and finally Anika herself heard me and was very apologetic and offered to add an extra session on my course of 8 sessions. I had another 3 session with the same consultant who was pleasant, but immature and irresponsible . On my fourth visit I was told that this consultant was no longer working there . The consultant who took over was very lovely and carried on the treatment with great deal of responsibility.
On the 23rd of February I had my last treatment and I discussed with the consultants that although I have completed the entire course of treatment it has not cleared my Rosacea it is still as it was . At this point I was told that my condition is not treatable with the light therapy and that I should see my GP and all they were doing was managing my condition and should I consider to continue further sessions they will be happy to do so.
I was very disappointed and felt they should have been honest with me at the beginning of the treatment and should have been open about the scope of the treatment and not build my hope that it was treatable with the light therapy based upon which I would have made a decision whether I wanted to take the course or not. I have felt cheated as my Rosacea is still very much prevalent
Finally based upon my experience I would like to make others aware that before any treatment kindly discuss the scope of the treatment.

I had my second laser session with Harpreet at Shumailas East Ham, and it was a really good experience. This was my fifth laser session overall at the clinic, and I can clearly see better results after every session.

Harpreet was very caring, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the treatment. She explained everything clearly and made sure I was okay during the session. Her service was excellent and she was very friendly.

I’m really happy with the results so far and the overall service at Shumailas. I would definitely recommend Harpreet and the clinic to anyone considering laser treatments.

Simran is a true professional! She provided an amazing, informative facial and took the time explaining each step and advise me on future care options tailored specifically to my skin. Her gentle approach and expertise made for a wonderful experience. 5 stars!

I visited the Chingford branch to have a skin tag removed from my eyelid. The place was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and professional. My skin tag was completely removed in one session, leaving a small scab. The scab dropped off four days later. A week on, I can't even see a mark.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shumaila's.

Shumaila have been excellent in customer service and always willing to help especially Asma- I had hifu , skintag removal,and cosmelan and I am looking forward to starting my skin boosters treatment with Mandeep . She made me feel relaxed from consultation to treatment sessions whenever I called she knew my name she made it very personal to me I am so happy I found Shumaila.

I had crooked eyebrows and it took months and months and months for it to be corrected with threading and Simran managed me the entire time and she has done a fantastic job by actually correcting my eyebrows and now my eyebrows are perfect. I love her dedication to her clients.

It was the first time I had come here for waxing and the lady who did it was so lovely and friendly. I felt nervous at first going to a new place, but she made me feel comfortable and at ease.

Seeing great results after 2 laser sessions already! Simran has been wonderful, very knowledgeable and friendly. I wish I started laser years ago if I knew I’d get results like this!

Great eyebrow threading with Simran, she has given my eyebrows a lovely shape.

Booked 6 treatments of PRP for £1000 after 1 treatment got side effect. They requested doctors letter, which was provided to them in which the dr stated to stop the sessions. First agreed to pay back £700 then only paid me £550 back. Blaming Klarna fees.

Good customer service, lovely lady who served me, friendly lady. Will definitely come back.

I got waxed for the first time and Halima,the woman who waxed me,was amazing!They’re very professional and considerate by asking if you’re okay and if you need a break or some water if you can’t handle pain that well.Very quick as well :))
