We had a very positive experience with Simply Lofts and in particular, our builder, Igli. We had a loft conversion done on a first floor flat in Ealing starting in October 2025 and finishing in April 2026 to create another bedroom and bathroom. The work was completed to a high standard and within a reasonable time frame over the winter. We would highly recommend Simply Lofts and of the three quotes we obtained for the project, theirs was the most competitive.

We employed Simply for a loft extension to our Victorian semi-detached. From Christian's initial site visit through to completion we received great customer service, the whole team have been incredibly responsive and eager to check in at all points of the build. We were particularly happy with the contractor team that were assigned to our build, Aurel and his team were super efficient - keeping exactly to build schedule - and always polite and great about keeping the site tidy. We're delighted with our new space!

I need to say that my experience with Simply loft was excellent, they managed the initial part of the project including the architect design and the submission. I was then allocated the company that was going to do the work and the experience has been excellent. Albano was the main point of contact and he guided me through the process of converting my loft into 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The outcome is simply excellent! I would recommended!

We were really happy with the results and each step was handled efficiently and professionally by the various team members. The main build completed within schedule. We used Simply for our recent house renovation. We did a loft conversion, opened up our ground floor and kitchen, and renovated our bathrooms, so quite a big project. Aurel and his team did an absolutely brilliant job. They were professional, friendly, stuck to the time frame (almost exactly) and had brilliant attention to detail. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We've used other builders in the past and Simply and Aurel were way beyond the standards I've ever experienced before. A few unexpected glitches came up along the way and Aurel was communicative and very helpful with working out ways to solve things within our budget. Our house is totally transformed, and we're delighted with it!

We contracted Simply to help us design and build our mansard loft conversion, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results.

The architect team we worked with was very detailed, and collaborated with us closely to refine the drawings and plans for our loft. Since we live in a conservation area in London, we were nervous about the approval process, but they submitted everything on our behalf with no issues at all.

From February 2026, Aldo and Mario and their team were onsite, leading the construction of the loft. They reached out before the work started to sit down with us and go through every single line item in the project plan - walking us through the timelines and answering our (numerous) questions. This level of detail and professionalism continued throughout the next few months, and I was extremely impressed with how they conducted themselves throughout. Aldo and Mario communicated clearly, informed us immediately of any pitfalls (we live in an old Victorian terraced house, so there were quite a few), and advised us on how to proceed in tricky situations. We never felt pressured at any point and always felt that they truly had our best interests in mind.

They also had a very regimented work ethic - their team showed up on time every single day, respected our space, and always cleaned up after themselves. Aldo took photos and videos at each step of the process, and sent these to me as he went so I could see the progress every day. These seemingly small details really set their team apart from other contractors we've worked with in the past.

We are more than happy with the quality of the work, and couldn't recommend Aldo, Mario, and Simply enough. It's incredibly difficult to find solid, reliable contractors in London and we feel incredibly lucky to have found and worked with such good people.

We used this team for a full loft conversion over about 3 months, and couldn't be happier with the result.

From the start, Aldo and Mario were super professional and took the time to make sure we properly understood what needed doing at every stage. They also brought in quality third parties - electricians, plumbers, and others - who were just as reliable and skilled.

What really stood out was how many times they went above and beyond, completely free of charge. At one point we had backflow from a pipe outside, and Aldo and Mario spent several hours fixing it themselves without charging us anything.

Disruption to our home life was kept to an absolute minimum. Obviously there's going to be some noise during a loft conversion, but they always pre-arranged their visits so we could sort out our cats and carry on working from home without any issues.

The mess was minimal too. There was inevitably a lot of dust once they broke through into the loft, but they did a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves every time.

The project also progressed really quickly. Aldo's project management was impressive - he managed to stagger and meld some genuinely complex workflows and timings without anything slipping.

On top of all that, they're just good people. They helped us wherever and whenever they could, and it made the whole process so much easier.

It's always a bit of a dice roll with contractors, but we got really lucky with Aldo and Mario. We'll be recommending them to our friends, and we'll definitely be using them again for any other major projects on the house.

SimplyLoft delivered a brilliant project for me. Their model gave me confidence in their contractors while keeping costs competitive. FML were appointed and Florjan ensured everything was delivered on time and to a high standard, advising me from time to time in my options and where changes were recommended

We used Simply for our Mansard loft conversion in West London. Due to Council (freeholder issues) after paying the deposit it was 2.5 years until building could begin. This is really one of the benefits with going with a company like Simply, the deposit was held and despite the unforeseen delay (which was no faults of Simply) Simply were ready to start work a week after we had teh final paperwork and approval.

From the start Christian was great at representing the company, planning went through with no issue and communication from the simply team was consistent. But I must say the builder we had Armando was superb. Super customer focussed and always giviing us what we wanted. The finish is superb and has completely transformed our place. During the build during parts my wife and I along with a 9 month old were there and I thought Armando's build team were so respectful and lovely to my family.

Thanks Simply and Armando the space has really changed our lives and we are loving living in it.

We had a great experience with our builders Aldo and Mario during our loft conversion, they were fantastic throughout and we are extremely pleased with the results.

Negligent build resulting in structural damage and safety issues but won't rectify within the warranty period. Finding every possible excuse to avoid fixing the mistake they created.

I paid Simplyloft directly as they invoiced me directly with all evidence to prove. I paid Simplyloft £32K. Even have a scope of works created by Simplyloft detailed how they take full responsibility of the work to which I trusted. They are now trying to pass their responsibilities as they chose the their 3rd party subcontractor provider not me to work on behalf of them. I had no knowledge of this 3rd party provider until Simplyloft was using them and I trusted Simplyloft based on their scope of works promised to me. All works finalised in April 2017 so still within the 10 year warranty for the defects I have. It wouldn't take Simplyloft to fix this problem at no major expense to them but very difficult for me. Simplyloft try to find every way to dodge this by providing responses that are unfortunately incorrect and pass the buck to someone or something else on every turn.

Further to this the Ombudsman has now been engaged. Hopefully, Simplyloft will do the right thing.

Simply have been absolutely terrific! Fantastic communication from the beginning, very flexible with our ever-changing start date, and really efficient throughout the construction process. We couldn't be more pleased with the final result. Highly recommended!

We used Simply for our loft conversion and renovation of our house in SE London. Christian was our surveyor and he was incredibly useful throughout the process - providing us with multiple cost estimates before the official quote. The process with our architect Sigrid was already very professional and seamless, giving us multiple options to consider. Finally, the assigned contractor for us was Aurel and his team who were great throughout the process - the build took roughly 5 months which were very happy with considering how much work we had done.

They weren’t the cheapest quote but the contractors (Made by Metos) were excellent. Igli and the team helped us through key decisions, planned ahead, communicated well and delivered to a high quality.

Throughout the process everything is very clear and there is always a member of the team available should you need them, communication is wonderful.
We have a mid terrace house in central London and lived in the house throughout without issue as the team are very courteous and thoughtful.
Julian our site manager and main builder was amazing, so hard working and friendly. His knowledge and attention to detail is fabulous as were all the trades.
Our project was completed three weeks early with no snagging, in all my years as a professional project manager something I’ve never experienced before.

We used Simply for our loft conversion in summer 2025 and had a very positive experience from start to finish. During the initial stages, the team took the time to guide us through the process step by step, regularly checking in with us throughout both the planning and build phases.

The contractors, led by Eddie and Ben, were skilled, respectful, and a pleasure to have in our home. They were consistently professional, approachable, and adaptable whenever needed. Although there were a few minor issues along the way, these were addressed promptly and efficiently.

We are delighted with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Simply to others considering a loft conversion.

Florjan and his team from FML (the subcontractor) were so great! Absolute professionals that helped every step of the way.

We had a 2 bedroom and 1 ensuite bathroom loft conversion carried out. This included a hip to gable and rear dormer installation. Overall the experience throughout was excellent and we were put at so much ease during a challenging and non-straightforward project. We consider ourselves very lucky to have been assigned such a great team of contractors. This was led and overseen by Julian Basani who was very professional and understanding that we were looking for a top tier product throughout. The communication was an added bonus as the Simply Loft online portal made it very easy to make the step payments and also to itemise end of project snagging items. Other means of communication was via a dedicated Whatsapp group and email correspondence which meant we were always in the loop on the more complex aspects. Through Julian and his team all logistical elements of the project (with our permission) were taken out of our hands so that we could have all kinds of trades at our disposal to have a top quality finished loft conversion.

Considered a few loft companies to do my conversion in South East London. I really liked the online portal and the member of their team that came round was really knowledgeable. Quote was reasonable. The project ran to plan generally, communications were really good and I’m really really happy with the outcome. Ben was the subcontractor who was fantastic. All in all strong recommend which is a delight after the terrible experiences I’ve had with construction companies.
